The people here are very helpful and totally honest, which is important when you’re shopping for glasses! Who wants to pay a few hundred dollars for a pair of glasses that don’t make you look good? I worked with Sandy and she was very clear about what styles worked for my face and which ones didn’t. She didn’t try to upsell me to a more expensive pair and actually helped me to find the best pair at the best price. With lots of designer styles and great people to work with, it’s definitely a go-​to place for specs!

I came for my annual eye exam, the staff are very professional and friendly. They helped me to choose the right frame and lenses. And within less that 2 hours, I fished the exam, picked my new eyeglasses.
I am really happy with my purchase.

I had the best experience at Sterling Optical! I have always had difficulty finding the right pair of glasses for my facial shape and features. Maldonna was amazing! She is so talented and helpful. She selected the most flattering glasses for me! I absolutely loved her picks that I ended up getting 2 pairs! Felix was also so kind and courteous! This is a great place if you are looking for a beautiful selection of designer eyewear and great service!

Honestly, I’ve had the worst experience trying to find attractive glasses within my budget and Sterling Optical really made me happy. I’m not sure what to say other than I have no complaints. The optometrist was nice, the sales clerk was friendly, and my glasses came within a week.

I initially came in here because of a Groupon and got two pairs of glasses for a really good deal. The selection was great, and the girl behind the desk (an engineering student) was extremely helpful.
When I went back over President’s Day for an adjustment, the place was packed and there was only young lady (different from the first time) working behind the counter that morning. She did an excellent job of apologizing for the wait but setting expectations of approximately how long one would wait, and then was patient and helpful with each customer along the way, acting quickly but never making you feel rushed. Taryn did a great job that day and it was much appreciated.

shopping for glasses this year started out as a nightmare for me– but Adona at sterling optical came to the rescue!
i’d ordered a tory burch frame at lens crafters, after being assured that it would come in black. the frames showed up… in red. turns out they don’t even exist in black. the customer service there was pretty awful and unfriendly, and my timeline to get glasses before the end of the year was almost up. needless to say, i was beyond frustrated. seriously beyond.
…and then i drove to menlo, walked into sterling, and within two hours had picked a frame, had the glasses made, and left the place a happy camper.
i’m insanely picky, difficult, indecisive, stubborn, etc. (what… i’m a woman, that’s to be expected!) Adona at sterling was patient and knowledgeable and super helpful, and did i mention patient? she pulled a ton of frames for me to try… multiple times. i’m the worst. her suggestions were wonderful, she really knew her inventory and listened to my preferences and found EXACTLY what i wanted. the perfect kate spade frames. they carry a large selection of frames, in brands including tory burch, tiffany, tom ford, kate spade, guess, ralph lauren, versace, ray ban, etc.
i expected to have to wait a week for the glasses to come in (like i had to at lens crafters)… but to my surprise, she said they’d be ready in an hour.
this four-​eyes is beyond happy. seriously beyond.

I bought a pair of frameless sunglasses that keep on falling apart due to the frameless frames requiring screws but they always fix it for me no questions asked. Worth buying at this store rather than ordering online even though prices are lower online.

First off, they lie about what you are eligible for. I asked them if I was in their network and they said they were. They then charge me $ 200 and I told them I believe that this is covered under my insurance plan… or better yet just give me what is covered in my insurance plan. They refused and claimed that my insurance plan gives only bottom of the barrel plastic glasses. I happen to have nice frames and they claimed I was being «cheap» and not willing to put $ 200 towards the frame.
Infuriated, I called my insurance provider who indicated that these were not in our network. In effect, they were trying to just get me to buy lenses claiming I was in their network.
What annoyed me the most was the comparisons to being cheap and being very testy with me.
I would never go there again – and be humiliated.

great place! I got lots of good deals on glasses here before. The staff was very nice and I’m glad they gave me a discount. I was very satisfied with their service. Would defintely come here again.
