We love this restaurant! The food is always amazing! The atmosphere is perfect too! They are still getting in the groove on service and staffing, but I know they are addressing that and are really trying to rock this place!

Before this visit, I’d only had their food for takeout. The takeout was fantastic, but this dining in experience left a lot to be desired. While they did a great job of getting our child’s meal out quickly, our order wasn’t taken for half an hour. The other negative was that two of our 6 meals came out stone cold and made my husband ill. The appetizers and sushi were great, but the main dishes were average. I’m hoping that this experience was only because they were busy for Mother’s Day.

I come here with friends and clients all the time. Everyone is very nice and the food is awesome. Some employees even have Star Wars tattoos which is awesome

I loved the interior and I also loved the food. I did feel a little out of place when i walked in with my casual clothes for dinner and saw all the other guests in a nice evening attire. The presentation was great but the only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is due to the server’s inexperience and long pauses of just awkwardness before replying. Everything else, was perfect.

We returned to Covell Park for dinner with our family group of 8! We ordered the Lollipops as suggested and our favorite, the Brussell Sprouts. We quickly doubled our order, as we knew the Brussel Sprouts would be a hit, and they WERE!!! Everyone at our table had a variety of things. There were several that ordered the Pork Chop, and it was awesome. The sushi was top notch, and the pasta full of flavor! Even the chicken and steak were outstanding! There truly is something for everyone! Our server Vu was very attentive, and kept our water glasses topped off! We’ll definitely be back again!!! Did I mention the Brussel Sprouts??? Don’t skip them!!!

Covell Park just isn’t my «scene.» I’ve only eaten here once, and would not go again. I am not faulting the service, but the menu was quite small and very unique, and I guess I just prefer a different type of food. I also found the prices to be quite expensive and portions small. We regretted ordering sodas right when we sat down, because had we looked at the menu first, we probably would have politely left just knowing it wasn’t something we were interested in. I do believe Covell Corner fits the neighborhood well.

Wonderful food and great atmosphere. The sushi was amazing but a friend ordered the steak and I’m thinking that is my next order. It’s a very nice place to eat but not pretentious. The perfect mix of comfortable and modern.

Last night was our first visit. We made reservations and was glad because they were busy. The service was wonderful and the staff was friendly and attentive. We had the spicy cowboy roll and chicken lettuce wrap for starters and both were extremely good. For the main course we each had something different, the rib eye, the pork chop, the chicken and te duck salad… seriously some of the best we’ve had in a while. We ended up staying for about 3 hours just talking and visiting and the staff was amazing about it and we never felt rushed. The atmosphere was fun, it was lively but not too loud and it was clean! We will be going back.

Good atmosphere! We ordered the fried brussels sprouts appetizer which was a little heavy on the tangy glaze, but overall pretty enjoyable. My husband ordered the Spicy Cowboy roll which he complimented the good textures and flavors. I enjoyed the Crispy Edmond roll… Crunchy tempura fried roll with salmon and jalapeño topped with Crispy fried leaks! Yum! We will be coming back for sushi for sure!

Came back into town to visit family for the holidays. I had such a good experience the first time I came to Covell that I made it a priority to come back. Our server was Vu and he made sure our experience here was excellent. Great food, great drinks, great service, great company. What more could I ask for? Ps the fire place was awesome for this cold night! Can’t wait to come back again!

The reason we came here is because it is a sister company of Gursey Park in Oklahoma City. I had a the Spicy Edmond roll. I had to ask our waiter for soy sauce and the usual condiments that accompany a roll. This roll was somewhat dry and tasteless. They did have a spicy sauce on the plate that was quite good. My friend had the beef and broccoli and it looked and tasted fabulous. The food was very slow to get from the kitchen even though the restaurant was sparsely filled. My friend had wine. The glass was big but the pour was very small. She never comments on things like that, but it was enough to make her comment. There are too many restaurants to go back to one that is only so so. We will be back to Gursey Park though.

Edmond needed an Asian fusion place like this. The ambience is wonderful and I need to go back for dinner(I have been twice for lunch). The little lounge area makes me want to dress up and drink a cocktail and pretend I’m in the city. My one warning would be to picky eaters: this menu is a unique one. The lunch menu was small, and I had a hard time choosing something that didn’t sound super intimidating. But the one sushi roll I had was good, but a bit different as well as pricey. I feel like the dinner crowd might be more of an upscale environment; one that I don’t mind every once in awhile!(Again, I’ve only been for lunch… I was in workout clothes, and didn’t feel too out of place). However, its a spot that I will have to go on a girls night because I know my husband won’t go for the eclectic food choices Overall, I love the uniqueness of the place and I would love to see more local restaurants like this.

This restaurant was such a nice surprise and exceeded our expectations. The décor is modern but unlike some restaurants, you can still hear the other people at your table and have a conversation. They also gave a tv at the bar and had the thunder game on. Our waitress was nice and the manager came by to ask how our meal was. There is a sushi menu but they also have options for non sushi eaters. I ordered the pork chop with Brussel sprouts and manchego mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the Mahi Mahi and we were told it was wild caught Atlantic Mahi. The Brussel sprouts were amazing! Lightly fried with pieces of pork belly. Soooo good! I would go back for those alone. We also ordered the chicken lollipops with chili sauce on the side. The chicken was really juicy and crispy. I really recommend giving this restaurant a shot. It’s a great addition to north Edmond area. Can’t wait to try them for brunch.

Great sushi and great service. The only thing this place lacks is good signage, as it’s not clear that this place is a restaurant when driving by. Lynn was our waitress and was great.

First off, let me start by saying that I absolutely love the food at this place. The shrimp curry pasta, sushi, and green curry salmon is all wonderful. However, I went there for lunch on a Saturday and they only serve brunch items from 10 – 4. We ultimately decided to leave as did another group due to the limited menu. Just a suggestion if someone from the restaurant reads this. Would love to have some lunch options. I don’t always want a heavy brunch.

This is a five star place! If you’ve been/heard of Guernsey Park, this is their sister restaurant. These people make delicious food, no doubt about it. I’ve been here many many times and it’s always incredibly good. Try any appetizer, but honestly try the pork chop as an app… The Pork Chop — served with manchego mashed potatoes and bacon brussels, sauced with a demi that has a hint of a caramel taste to it. It is insane. But don’t take my word for it, try it yourself!

I LOVE Guernsey Park, so I was excited to hear the owners were opening a new place in Edmond. I came for brunch with some fellow Unilocal friends and it lived up to the unique and delicious food that I was expecting after visiting Guernsey. After some friends’ recommendations, I started out with the fried Brussels sprouts which had some kind of caramel-y sauce with them. They were delicious. I’m a newfound Brussels sprouts fan, and I just love the light crunch that fried sprouts offer. I had the shrimp and grits for brunch, and my boyfriend had the pork belly Benedict. I loved my shrimp and grits, and the Benedict was so different from anything we’d had and I loved that too(just had a couple bites). They were served on rice cakes rather than the traditional English muffins, which was really good. Our table finished up with some carrot cake, which was unlike any carrot cake I’d ever seen, but tasted great! It was served with a cream cheese ice cream rather than icing — a nice, different touch. I love carrot cake and was impressed with Covell Park’s. Definitely check out Covell when you can. It’s pretty far north, even for us in northwest OKC, but worth checking out. I really love the uniqueness that these owners have brought to Oklahoma City and Edmond. Both Guernsey Park and now Covell Park are offer menu options so different from anything else in the city. So so so good. I love both for a date night atmosphere too. I definitely would recommend!

Now that I’ve been to Covell Park a couple of times since our lovely CMYE, here is my verdict: Covell Park is a welcome addition to Edmond amidst the suburban sea of chain restaurants. I stopped by here for lunch since sushi is one of my go-to’s. The Covell roll was excellent and definitely worth the price. Since I was still hungry, I ordered dessert — at the time, the menu still had mochi on it, but it turns out that the mochi has been replaced with the taro waffle. Apparently mochi confused the general population, so off it went from the menu to my disappointment(because heaven forbid we try to culture-ate Oklahomans!). The taro waffle is very good and a worthy replacement; however, the portion was HUGE! It was definitely something 2 – 3 people could have eaten. I recommend serving this in a smaller portion if it’s a solo diner, but it was still delicious. My only quibble with lunch was my service was very off. I sat at the bar since I was dining solo, but I spent a decent amount of time waiting on the person to take my order, as they were otherwise occupied with talking on their cell phone. None of the other staff even tried to step in. Since we had such great service at our CMYE, I figured it must’ve been an off-day. Fortunately, when I returned for brunch, the service was much better. Our waiters were very attentive, especially when it came to refilling our beverages. Their brunch menu is good and has some interesting takes on the standard brunch fare, i.e. the pork belly benedict. I partook in the shrimp and grits(sans chorizo, natch) as well as the St. Ruby, a delicious grapefruit beverage with Prairie Wolf vodka. I also ordered a piece of carrot cake for the table, and it was quite good as well(and appropriately portioned!). I hope to see Covell Park continue to grow and flourish, because it is very, very good!

Covell Park is the sister restaurant of Guernsey Park and it is a great addition to the family! We started with the carpaccio and it was exquisite. The beef was sliced paper thin and the marinade was so flavorful. For dinner my hubby ordered the pork chop. Normally I’m not a fan of pork chops as they remind me of my dad’s attempts to cook, which consisted of unending Shake ‘n Bake. However, I am willing to give the other white meat another chance if Covell Park is cooking. It was so moist, had great flavor, and was cooked to perfection. He ordered brussels sprouts as his side and we both agreed that brussels sprouts just might be our new favorite veggie and neither of us was a fan prior. I ordered the chicken roulade and it was amazing as well. It was a fresh take on your typical chicken dish and was served over a delicious purée of butternut squash. Yum! When we go to Guernsey, we always order the carrot cake for dessert and Covell Park did not disappoint here. In fact, we think it’s better than the carrot cake at Guernsey. The secret? Covell serves theirs with homemade cream cheese gelato. Guernsey’s is homemade as well, but it’s ice cream. The gelato makes for a richer flavor and smoother consistency. With such a glowing review, some might ask why only 4 stars so I’ll explain. They need to get their customer service sorted out. Our waiter was also the bartender so it made for spotty service, though he was very attentive when he was there. Also, their tables aren’t very big so you really notice when your empty dishes haven’t been cleared away. We had several people check on us throughout the meal and none of them asked if they could take our plates. The restaurant has only been open a short time so I know they can easily overcome these minor annoyances. I’m just grateful to have another unique dining option in the Edmond area.

Covell Park. Asian fusion restaurant with a bit of everything for everybody. It’s kind of like the scene in Rush Hour where Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan walked into the massage parlor to see a bunch of different types of Asian massage therapist. However, Covell Park doesn’t sell happy endings but Asian fusion food and desserts. Well, they have dessert so I guess you can say they sell happy endings. It’s a fairly large restaurant with modern décor and there’s a bar area. The service was great and the wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. They were extremely nice. I’m usually used to the rude Asian service in SoCal and felt awkward when they called me «sir». What chu say bout my mama?!? Now, el foodo. That’s food for people who don’t speak Spanish. I’m not going to touch on all the plates but only my favorite. To be honest, I really enjoyed every item we had. 1) Lollipop Chicken — Tallequah free range chicken with a side of pickles and topped with orange chili gastrique. The chicken came out perfectly cooked, piping hot and moist. Yes I said moist. It was tender and the chili was for taste. Great appetizer to start and the kids couldn’t get enough of it as if it was sugar laced with cocaine. 2) Fried Brussels Sprouts — These were tasty and coated with caramel. The Brussels Sprouts were crispy and had a sweetness to the flavor. That’s saying a lot cause I don’t believe in the health benefits of veggies. 3) Carpaccio — Seared tenderloin topped with chili, nuoc mam and garlic chips. The nuoc mam, chili and garlic chips brought out the flavors of the beef. I really enjoyed the topping on the tenderloin like seeing your girlfriend in lingerie. After our dinner, we sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartender was extremely helpful and knew the drink menu very well. Plus she was quite a cutie. Totally made me want to move to OKC, settle down, and never travel the world ever again. OK. I’m lying. Overall, I highly recommend Covell Park if you’re ever in the OKC area. I’ve dined at a lot of Michelin restaurants and some of the best restaurants in the world. I would have to say Covell Park would at least be a Bib Gourmand if it was rated on the Michelin Guide. A great place to grab food and hang out in the middle of nowhere. Sorry I’m from LA so OKC looked like a scene from Jeepers Creepers. Who would have thought good food would come out of OKC?
