Not a bad place to study and read a book. The setup of the library was organized and very clean. I like that they have separate tables for laptop users and a quiet room for reading. I enjoyed studying here and will definitely come back in the future to study.

A nice library branch. Edmond is growing, and it would be nice to see them expand or build a second branch someday. This place is always busy. The parking lot is full most of the time. They have a good adult and children’s selection. In fact, the children’s section is half of the library, and they have a large recreation room that holds a lot of children’s classes and activities all week long. Most of the librarians are pretty helpful and friendly; however, a few of the workers at the front desk are not helpful or friendly. I don’t know if there is a tenure thing with librarians or what, but they act like they do not need to provide good customer service or a polite, professional attitude to keep their job. I don’t ask a lot from my local library. Access to the books, DVDs or music I want, easy check out(I love the self check out scanners), and a quiet place to read. Oh, and free wi-fi.

While it’s certainly no Northwest Library, Edmond Library is a pretty decent branch. I’ve never been here when the parking lot is not mostly full. Part of this, I think, has to do with that it’s the only branch north of the turnpike. Given how Edmond has expanded, this is more than a little weird, but I’m sure the issue is more complicated than that — where to get $$$, etc. Especially considering that the NW branch was years in the making and only opened just a couple years ago! But a full library is a good library. Computers are always in use every time I’m here, and the selection of books is great as well. I love how easy it is to pick up books on hold, since I tend to pick my books from the catalog. There’s plenty of stations to utilize the catalog too, if you’re in there and want to look up something. Use the catalog! It wants to help you, I promise. My only quibble is that the outdoor book drop-off is not super convenient. It’s hidden along the side of the building along Boulevard, and it’s in the building, and not a freestanding box, so it can be hard to see. Growing up, I went to a public library that had a drop-off you could drive up to, so I’m a bit spoiled. The location of the building doesn’t really lend to a drive-up drop-off, so I get that, but a slightly bigger sign for the drop-off would help. All in all, though, I like the Edmond Library. It definitely meets my reading needs!

Decent selection. Not too big for such a big suburb.

I love this location. Love to borrow some CD’s, DVD’s, books, and sometimes use the free wifi

This is the best of the libraries in the metro library system(with the exception of the downtown location). They have an excellent children’s section as well as a wide variety of adult books and plenty of meeting rooms if needed.
