Came in around 8:30 and grabbed a breakfast burrito. They use the same fake, liquid-in-a-carton eggs that McDonalds uses, and the salsa tastes store-bought and slightly sweet. Not worth the $ 7 price tag. Coffee is delicious, especially if you ask for recommendations from the baristas, but I’ve never had a greater than subpar experience as far as eating is concerned. Their turkey sandwich is meh and for some reason tastes salty… Have only ever had the sandwich, burrito, and soup though. Chill spot overall, but it could easily be improved with adjustments to the quality of ingredients of their food.

I had to check this place out since I heard that they make really good latte’s and I must say that it’s true! Their latte’s are excellent! I also had the waffle sandwich and it was very good as well! The atmosphere was nice! They made you feel very welcomed!

Apparently I’m the minority on the Evoke bandwagon, but here’s my two cents. I probably«could» have given this two stars because what I had wasn’t «bad,» but the more I «brewed» on my experience(pun definitely intended), it just sat the wrong way with me. Firstly, I am a coffee enthusiast, but I certainly don’t identify as a coffee«snob» or anything. I enjoy good, typically strong, coffee. As we are propelling into the Oklahoma summer, I have a new fascination with cold brew coffee — I make it all of the time at home. My wife and I were at the Farmer’s market on Saturday morning and decided that we should check it out — Evoke had sign outside boasting their cold brew coffee… how could I resist the temptation? When I ordered the woman at the front was nice enough — $ 4(before tax) for a 16oz… not the best price, but I’m okay paying more for good coffee. And that’s about the last part of the experience that was remotely decent. AFTER I was charged, I was informed that that Evoke was, in fact, OUT of cold brew coffee. Look, I understand, cold brew isn’t something you can just«whip up» really quick, but KNOW your inventory. Rather than offering to refund my transaction, the lady at the front proceeds to tell me «we’ll just make you an iced Americano — it’s basically the same.» Let me elaborate on this: 1) NO it really isn’t — an Americano is made from espresso, not coffee. It’s not the same at all. The process isn’t close, and cold brew coffee has a higher caffeine content and lacks acidity because of the brewing process. I was basically lied to, and I probably should have said something there, but I didn’t. 2) You gave me a 12oz because a 16 oz would have been watered-down. Ridiculous. Make it a double and a 16oz if you wanted it to be «close.» 3) I was still charged for the cold brew, which is 33% MORE than an iced Americano. $ 3 vs $ 4. YES it’s «only» a dollar, but if I could get a 33% raise… or if I paid 33% more for all of my goods, that would be significant. How many more people did they do this to today? «Oh sorry we didn’t know we were out of cold brew, but let me make you an iced Americano instead.» Okay, so that was long, but I feel like I need to «over» explain bad reviews… especially a place that typically gets good reviews. This was my experience — not that of others, but it was enough that I probably won’t go back again.

Really enjoy the coffee here. It is easy to order and the place itself is very clean.

First … Do not follow the directions from Unilocal it will take you to the back of the store which will mess you up cause you think there is nothing there… Besides that had a great time … Breakfast sandwich with Sriracha sauce was really really good and ambiance was chill and hipsteresque! It’s worth the drive! Enjoy!

Okay, here’s the thing… I really want to give this place 5 stars. It’s cool, it’s centrally located, it has the whole clean lines & white countertops décor thing going on… but the coffee just tastes funny. Now, I worked as a barista for 4 years – I know coffee, & I’m weirdly passionate about it. I’ve gotten lattes, breves, Americans, & drip here & it all has an incredibly odd flavor. I realize it’s the roast they use(I think it changes but it’s always LIGHT) &clearly I am out numbered because the place is wildly popular. Idk. I just don’t dig it. The customer service isn’t anything to write home about but it’s not bad enough to keep me away. The gentleman named Gage has stood out to me as one of the more approachable baristas there.

It was a great experience. The staff greats you as you walk in. They know their coffee well. Didn’t like how they had of only one type of coffee. The place felt more inviting. Love how chić it looks.

Great food and great drinks. Very clean and laid back. A nice change of pace from the stuffy, downtown edmond scenery.

One of(or maybe) the best things about Edmond. Has a great modern interior with an awesome mural by local artist Dylan Bradway on one wall. I love that they carry more than tea and coffee. As in they also carry wine and beer. Last time I was there I had a dirty chai with avocado toast with cilantro and lemon zest that was really good. Staff is always friendly. It’s never stuffy. Just a great local place.

Great coffee, best in Edmond. Terrific(often) hose made food. Atmosphere depends on personal taste. For Edmond, it’s a 5 for sure.

Great coffee place close to campus. The atmosphere is very hipster and music is loud, but they have a great menu and coffee is wonderful. Great place for business meetings or to hang with the pals. They also serve alcohol! Woo. I have been here for breakfast and they have a great menu, get the waffles! Whatever you do get the waffles! :)

I’m kind of a snob, but this place was okay. I enjoyed the espresso even though it was a mediocre press. Yes, I know how hard it is to nail one. Atmosphere was alright. Nice art. Didn’t like having to drive next to the canyon of disproportional sized police stations. Kinda killed the ambiance of the small town feel.

Wonderful staff, cool atmosphere, and some of the best espresso I’ve ever had. Evoke is a great place to hang out or have meetings. I do homework here sometimes, however sometimes the room echoes when there is a lot of people which makes it hard to concentrate. It’s probably my favorite coffee shop to have a meet up though. They also serve alcohol and GREAT brunch!

I’ve come here twice and I’ve really really enjoyed it both times! They have a more modern feel but I like that it’s different. Their staff is super nice and very accommodating when problems arise. And then add on the coffee, I give them two thumbs up. I’ve tried the americano(iced and hot) and their iced latte. All great. I also tried their pumpkin bread which was moist and delicious. They also have a couple of other food items on their menu that sounded appetizing. I would definitely come back. It’s a great place to chill. If you were to meet with a friend or a group of friends, you would be able to conversate freely! I would not recommend it for someone who likes studying in a completely quiet environment. But, I enjoy a little background noise/action while I study(with headphones on).

Evoke is the premier coffee shop of Edmond. It’s high quality drinks and snacks, including lunch, make this the place to go. They also serve alcohol, which is a nice change. The baristas are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is low key, and a mix of local art infuses life into this downtown shop.

On our quest for a great cup we stopped by this little shop in Edmond. The atmosphere was kind of start and cold but the pastry display caught my eye. These goodies looked delicious! We got the salted caramel blondie and the large chocolate chip cookie. Just perfect– soft and yummy. I ordered the Peru pour over and my husband got the latte. I liked mine, though I had to go up to the counter to ask for cream. There wasn’t any available. The cashier was a little less then friendly. She seemed impatient while ringing us up too. My husband didn’t love the latte. He gave it a 6 out of 10. Not bad just not great. It was missing flavor. Maybe another shot would help. The waffle sandwiches looked really good but we just went for coffee.

Café Evoke has some incredible coffee, and a bunch of sweet and savory food offerings, too. There’s a pastry case front and center, but otherwise not much sign of the full range of delicious menu items that Café Evoke also offers. Don’t be fooled: there are plenty of choices for a good breakfast or lunch, not to mention craft beer and wine. I wish I could comment on the menu because it looks so good! I don’t know how much of the kitchen is used, though, as most tables seem to be filled with patrons enjoying coffee and working rather than dining in. Rating Evoke is tough, though. I really like Café Evoke — from the coffee to the community it serves. However, the interior buzz is way too loud. There is nothing on the walls except the bar shelving. Add to that loud music, the machines used at the bar, and tables filled with people who are excited about their coffee and their company,(not to mention the occasional screaming child), and a headache is born. Most shops these days are cheerfully humming, but on my last several visits to Evoke, I found it decibels louder than I could bear. The coffee is good, but I won’t be hanging out without earplugs. I’ll get a to-go cup and slide on over to the library where the other grumps hang out. :)
