We love Java Dave’s! We were worried initially with change in ownership, but actually it has improved the dining experience with updated dining room and menu. Great place to «work from home» with its free Wi-Fi and generally quiet atmosphere. This is my favorite place to go for lunch… it can get a little pricy if ordering from the menu, but daily lunch specials are an excellent deal and come with large portions and excellent tea! Recently Java Dave’s switched their tea cups to a smaller size, but since it’s included in the price of the lunch special, and you can always just refill your cup, it’s not a big deal. They did stop carrying Sweet ‘N Low recently, but that is my only complaint, and that is of course quite minor.

This is a great place to walk to within downtown Edmond and get a coffee and a snack. The employee was very friendly and greeted me when I walked in. It definitely has a quaint, homey atmosphere with wooden shelves, window curtains, and diner-style chairs. Lots of space to sit, outdoor seating, open atmosphere, and there was even a small group having a meeting when I visited. I ordered a vanilla latte, but then decided to impulse-buy a pumpkin muffin at the last minute and I’m so glad I did! The latte was delicious(the coffee has a rich, freshly-roasted taste) and the pumpkin muffin definitely tasted homemade. For the medium latte and the muffin, my total was about $ 6.50 which is about what I’d spend at a Starbucks. But unlike Starbucks, they had a pretty big food menu where it seemed like you could grab coffee and light lunch there. I will definitely go again to explore their menu a little more.

The food is good and cheap, the coffee is good but slightly pricier than Starbucks, and the service is great and the people are friendly. Definitely my favorite breakfast spot in the Edmond area.

They do have almond milk and soy milk. I got the sausage egg bagel sandwich. I also like that I can get 16 oz of coffee without having to place a double order. Inside is downright disgusting, back patio seating is even worse, but it’s a classic place trapped in time that just really needs to be remodeled. It’s not my favorite place, but I find myself coming here when Evoke is too full or line is too long. Don’t bring someone here if you want to impress them.

This Java Dave’s location isn’t just about coffee. They have food too! It definitely feels like a mom and pop operation. Their kitchen is limited to mostly soups, salads, and sandwiches. It does not seem that they have much kitchen equipment by watching them prepare the food. However, what they offer is very good. I typically order the avocado BLT, which is a BLT with cream cheese and avocado. They serve it on super squishy and soft nine grain bread that they order from an out of state bakery. I crave it often! I have uploaded their menu to the photos, but they also have specials that vary daily. Every day they have a special that comes with a large tea and sometimes desert for around $ 7. I am not as impressed with their breakfast stuff, the majority of it is prepared or prepackaged food. For example, the eggs and bacon are precooked(egg patty) and just added to breakfast breads to make a sandwich. I don’t think they make any of their pastries in house either. The obvious thing to get at Java Dave’s is their beverages. They offer several selections of flavored drip coffee per day; my favorite is the snickerdelicious which tastes just like a snickerdoodle cookie. They offer also offer flavored latte and espresso drinks as well as smoothies. The thing I drink the most when I go is their fresh brewed flavored tea. They offer a 32 ounce cup for just $ 1. You can purchase all of their flavored coffees and teas in bulk to bring home. Space and environment at Java Dave’s is inviting. There is plenty of seating and room to spread out; it is a good place to meet a group of friends or colleagues. I also believe that they have free Wi-Fi. They have street parking in front or a private lot in the back. I wish I lived in Edmond so I could go here more often, but when I’m in the area I stop by.

Quaint! This place feels homey and relaxing. Order a drink and a snack and lounge around and play on your phone or read a good book. Plus, it’s right downtown in Edmond so you can take your drink and walk around and see the great boutiques and antique stores or if a Saturday hit the farmers market. Have done this several times on a Saturday with and without friends.

Great coffee and atmosphere. Good place to grab a sandwich at lunch as well. Sure beats Starbucks.
