UPDATE: THISPLACEHASCOCKROACHES. As a professional barista, watching them pull shots and steam milk is painful. Doesn’t look like anyone knows what they’re doing(including the owner.) Speaking of, last time I went in the owner handled cash ANDTHENMADEMYDRINK. Ew. This ship has great potential but the lack of knowledge and skill is very obvious, and if they’re thy lax about health code in front of the customers, I can’t imagine what is going on behind closed doors.

Very cool little coffee place in North Edmond. Just north of UCO campus, this place is the perfect spot to drop in right before, after it in between classes. Friendly staff and clean facilities. They get their pastries from Uptown Grocery, so they have that going for them also!

Very nice atmosphere and the staff is very nice. The coffee was very well made and so was the fruit tart I had. Most definitely coming back again.

I love this place. The drinks are always good, but perhaps what keeps me coming back is the atmosphere. It’s always clean, it’s always quiet, the playlist rocks, it’s always peaceful. It is one of my favorite coffee shops in OKC. However, there are a couple things I hope will change. At this point, the only thing to eat is pastries. While they are certainly tasty, I often wish for a small, healthier snack choice. There is fruit available, and some days there is a pre-packaged salad for $ 6. But there’s no healthy $ 2 snack. Also, the only thing organic are the coffee beans themselves. The milk and syrups aren’t, and if you know anything about organics, you know that one non-organic ingredient completely compromises the«organic» nature of the drink. This rating would be more accurate with a 4.5. However, since I can’t choose that, it’s closer to a five than a four.

Loved the modern interior design. I can tell their smoothies are organic with little to no sugar added. I couldn’t really tell if their coffee was organic or not, but it sure was strong.

Coffee Tree is a really cute coffee shop just behind UCO’s campus, making it another spot for students to get their study on with some caffeinated beverages. It’s actually on the smaller side compared to places like All About Cha or even Starbucks. I can see it filling up pretty quickly during finals week and the like. I was there, not for studying, but to meet up with someone for casual chat and caffeine. I opted for the green tea latte, which I loved. It was perfectly and expertly made, for sure. I’d love to come back and try some of their other beverages. They do take Keep It Local cards for some goodies, so that is always a plus in my book. Overall, a nice little coffee shop when you want to wander off the beaten path of Starbucks.

Such a cute little place! I came in yesterday with friends and studied and loved how little and fengshui like it was. I got an iced mocha latte and loved that it wasn’t too sweet or bitter. My friend gets the café latte with hazelnut and likes it! Really is a nice place for a study sesh or gettin together with someone. Also students get discounts!

What a hidden little gem this coffee house is! It takes a bit of work to find it, but it’s worth it once you do. The atmosphere is very relaxing, almost spa-like. It has the usual assortment of coffees and teas, and the added bonus of smoothies, which many coffee houses don’t have. The coffee is, of course, organic, which is important to many of us. I especially like the really tall barista, whose customer service skills are exemplary. She really goes the extra mile to make sure her customers are happy and satisfied. Her drinks are fabulous — she really knows her stuff. She’s knowledgeable about her products and has never made me feel silly about my requests. The one request I would make of Coffee Tree is that they carry a couple of gluten-free items for those who prefer them. Other than that, this is an establishment I am happy to patronize!

Great place, I was a little weary with it being an organic coffee place. But wow I am amazed the drinks are AMAZING! Free wifi for those college kids with last minute homework. Not crowded at all and always playing great music. New discoveries are always fun but when they are this great, I just can’t help but look for even more! If you are doing homework with a group though would recommend someplace else due to small tables! But coffee date, work meeting definitely perfect place. Also strawberry banana smoothie just try it! AMAZing!

Fantastic place! I had the the Black Royal Tea and let me just say, wow! It was fantastic. Definitely the best black royal tea I’ve had so far. The store is decently small, but has plenty of seating even though the tables are kind of small for two people doing homework. The ambiance is very relaxing and the noise level is a very acceptable quiet. The best part about this place? It’s directly behind the University of Central Oklahoma campus and is open until 10 p.m. P. s. The wifi is free, but you will have to get the password from the barista. :))

I write this tougher review because I think this place has some serious potential and I’d love to see some improvement. I’m a coffee guy(we are part owners of a coffee roastery in Raleigh, NC) so admittedly, I am not your normal customer. I have been in 100’s of shops and I can say most shops suffer from what I didn’t like about this place. The lack of excitement/friendliness of the barista. Sure it was ~9:15pm on a Saturday night(they close at 10pm) and we all(6 adults) ended up getting what we wanted(except the guy who wanted a light roasted bean), but the vibe the barista gave off was that she was annoyed. When asked about the coffee bean options, she responded with a feisty and quick, «All we have is dark roast.» I asked about the chemex, her response was, «Well we normally don’t do hand pours this late.» That comment had me shaking my head because normally shops don’t do hand pours during the busier times of the day. Did she make me a pour over? Yes(and it was delicious), but it was out of guilt not out of genuine service. I get it, she was ready to go home and had probably already cleaned up. She turned off the open sign and locked the doors around 9:45pm which we took as a sign to leave. Just overall not a very inviting/comfortable/welcoming experience.

Great place. I had a wonderful Lemon bar and vanilla latte. The prices are comparable to any specialty coffee shop with a nice café ambiance. Very clean, welcoming, hospitable.

Decided to check out he new coffee place in Edmond. They had fast and friendly service and plenty of seating. However not very impressed with my Carmel macchiato, which was okay but not anything special. My turnover wasn’t any better that what I could get at the bakery section of the local grocery stores. I think they have the atmosphere down but need to step up the actually coffee and food items.

I was really pleased with the taste of the coffee. I drink my coffee black so it was really refreshing that the coffee was really smooth and not bitter. The young ladies inside were great as well!

First time here – it’s a really great space, open with a lot of lighting and lots of seating. Ordered a small Americano, which was really smooth and rich. Friendly staff & nice décor. My only complaint was that it was a little pricey, which is mostly expected since their coffee is organic. Great little coffee shop!

I have been anticipating the day Coffee Tree Organic Coffee finally opened so I could Unilocal all about it! I think they chose a perfect location by UCO. The owners are so nice. The barista was well trained. The atmosphere inside is chill and pleasant, with plenty of seating. The coffee is great, and also came back for some tea, which was also good. The food on display had me choosing between healthy wraps and salads and delicious pastries from Prairie Thunder Baking Company. The chocolate croissant won out, but I’ll be back. They are open every night until 10:00PM, and have free wifi.

Beautiful new coffee shop in Edmond! It reminds me of a log cabin, it’s super cute and woodsy. Everything is organic, which is wonderful and delicious! My favorite thing about this new spot is that it’s open until 10:00pm every night — so UCO students, you have another wonderful place to study and get homework done!

New coffee shop in NE Edmond serving all organic beans! I love coffee and can say with certainty that organic coffee beans make a better cup than genetically altered beans that have been hosed down with chemicals. Crazy I know, but it’s true. They also have a modest selection of teas and smoothies if you’re not in to coffee. For those looking for something to go with their cup of caffeination; they have an assortment of Prairie Thunder baked goods as well as light bites like salads, pre-made wraps and sandwiches. Coffee Tree is a very welcome addition to Edmond. But don’t take my word for it, try it yourself!
