Hobby Lobby

I have recently been very disappointed by the Danforth location in particular. I will not be recommending the rental services to any one, and will not be returning to this location. It upset me mostly, because for the price I was paying, I expected much better quality of product.

Hobby Lobby has been a new place that I have been frequenting to get everything to accomplish my new hobbies of playing with miniatures. They also have a coupon on the Geoqpons app that has 40% off any one item which helps when you are buying paints and brushes or other tools to help out with.

This hobby lobby is a nice one. It’s always pretty clean and on there restocking days, which are Thursdays if you are looking for something they are out of they will go out of there way to see if they can find it through the boxes. Only thing is that most stuff from there I buy eventually breaks or needs to be fixed. I actually have three things I’ve bought in the passed month I’ve had to recreate/​fix. I bought a furniture piece from them that was scratched on top. When I asked if they could give me a discount they said its going to scratch even if it didn’t have any scratches… Which kinda ercked me. They ended up giving me 10%. Then when my husband was loading it the manager came out and said be sure to return it if u get home you don’t like it, there’s something wrong or it smells bad… Didn’t quiet get the comment but it was a bit unprofessional coming from a manager. In the end I ended up having to change the handles on it bc the ones it came with were really flimsy and cheap.

Surely there is no craft chain on earth that compares to Hobby Lobby. An Oklahoma based retailer that sells every possible craft item, but also gifts, art, home décor, Christmas decorations, greeting cards — just too much to list.
I grew up in Oklahoma, and never knew better than to go to Hobby Lobby for about anything you need. Once I relocated to CA, and had to use other options, I realized what I had been taking for granted. (last month a Hobby Lobby opened in Huntington Beach, and my daughter and I are so excited)
This company is expanding and growing for good reason. The stores are spacious, clean, well organized, well stocked — and have friendly service.
