Moni’s is no Bologna! This place is spectacular! The dinner began with house rolls, they are to die for! Dense flaky delights from heaven. Salads were good! I had the mixed vegetables with angel hair pasta and spicy marina. The 3 out of 5 was plenty spicy! So flavorful, fresh tasting ingredients made to order!

In a land where plentiful pizza is a veritable commodity, finding a mediocre pie is as easy as walking around the corner. Finding a good pie is quite a bit more difficult; a great pie, nay impossible. Whence I thought I had found the few, rare gems of great pizza in the Edmond/North OKC area, I learned tonight I was wrong. Moni’s has just secured the top position for best pizza in my book. Atop a perfectly baked cracker crust was the best of American-version pie fused with fresh Italian herbs and spices which left me partaking of much more than I should have. Having to loosen my belt was evidence of my inability to refuse more of my new favorite pizza. But much to my gastric dismay, my wife ordered not one but TWO desserts: limoncello cake and a vanilla chocolate chip cannoli. Both ridiculously good. The cake was moist with a right balance of cream and lemon; the vanilla cannoli as if it came straight from a corner café in Rome. Perfect. We’ll be back very soon…

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner here tonight. They made room for our baby and our waitress(Shelby) was so amazing, she even offered to move us to a quieter section of the restaurant so he could sleep. Our taste buds were in for quite the treat. The freshly made bread melts in your mouth. The salads were beautifully colored and mine was topped off with their homemade balsamic dressing-delicious! The entrees were generously portioned. I enjoyed the savory marinara sauce which cannot compare to any Italian restaurant around! I’d highly recommend saving room for a cannoli! Well done John and Rachel! We look forward to becoming regular customers!

I decided I wanted Italian food, and saw this place on Unilocal, and not only was the food fantastic, but the owners and staff were absolutely phenomenal and friendly. I highly recommend the The chicken Parmesan, and their bread, that is complementary, is absolutely perfect.

I want to say that the owners of Moni’s have really made the effort to make up for my most recent visit. I do appreciate the effort by John. I look forward to visiting Moni’s soon. I know the entire staff take great pride in delivering quality food at a great price. The resturaunt is a great place the entirw family can enjoy.

Great place for real Italian food! Their pizza is addictive, pasta is fresh-made, and portions are generous! I love the house pink sauce. Moni’s has the rare feel of your neighborhood restaurant. Family-friendly, but also good for intimate date night dinners for two. Will be going back often!

Little hole in the wall definitely hidden but sure is a treasure! The ambiance is perfect for what we were looking for. Cute place. Food was outstanding. Their bread and oil/seasonings were to die for!!! Couldn’t get enough of it. Definitely will go back for a date night! Make reservations for larger parties to ensure they can get you in!

Best Italian restaurant in Edmond, or Oklahoma City! They have the best soft garlic bread with olive oil while you wait for your food. Our sweet waitress Megan recommend their Italian Egg Drop soup, with hints of lemon. I must admit, it didn’t sound good, but it was surprisingly excellent! Homemade Alfredo sauce, which is hard to find made from scratch foods nowadays! Husband had homemade Stromboli! We should of taken pics of our food!!! Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Dear sir, I do believe your server has me confused with someone else. I wrote my review the day I ate there, we never called for our server, nor did we ever mention the word«excellent» while dining. On top of those flags that told me you do not know who we are, we did not order a dessert. I have written many good reviews for other places that I have tried, you should have looked farther before sending me a comment. Maybe then you would actually know who your customers are before you say things that are untrue. I will not retract my previous comments, nor will I give your restaurant another chance after your comments to me. If you had read my reviews, especially the one for zio’s, you would note that I always try to give second chances to new establishments because of the Many variables that are involved. I am sorry that you are mad about my review, but I was being honest about my experience and if you have a problem with anyone being honest, that may be why others do not post reviews. They do not want you belittling them for being honest.

Came here around 5 pm on a Saturday and there was a line out the door. That should tell you how much people love this place. I got the Tortellini Rustica(Cheese stuffed tortellini sautéed with onions, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, & artichoke hearts in a creamy pink sauce). It was good, but not super amazing. The sauce was a little overwhelming/they put too much. Now, the complimentary garlic bread = AMAZINGGGGG. It was warm and soft and delicious. The herbs and oil were also reallllllyyy good. It was kind of salty, but just add more bread and voila. Problem fixed. Service was good, considering how busy it was. We did have to ask for things a couple of times before we got it, but no big deal.

I ordered spaghetti with the Vodka sauce and it was amazing !! This by far is the best Italian I’ve had so far in OK !! I will definitely go back !! This place will also serve you rolls and dipping sauce and they’re amazing ! My husband ordered their pizza(not a noodle person) and he was shocked on how much toppings were on it and the flavor he was very impressed. We got there about 5pm to beat the crowd and I’m glad we did, when we left there was a good wait outside to get in.

This restaurant was so beautiful! It was the perfect place for a Valentine’s day meal. I was fortunate to get seated right before the Sunday-after-church-lunch rush but I would probably call in for a reservation as the restaurant has limited seating – but I think it makes for a very intimate ambiance. On to food: We got complimentary bread which was to die-for! I loved it! For my entrée, I chose the lasagna which came with a salad. The salad was very refreshing and tasty in all the right places. However, I would not order the lasagna again. I love cheese but it felt like I was eating globs and globs of cheese. There was not enough meat sauce to balance the cheese out. I’d still give Moni’s four stars though because it was very good quality… cheese. And I definitely would love to come back and try the other menu options. My husband had the veal parmigiana which also came with a salad and a side of spaghetti. I stole a piece from him which was really good except I saw that it was over-cooked/tough around all the edges making it difficult for him to cut through and eat… a bit disappointing especially when you pay more for it. The service was great! Our server wasn’t stopping by too infrequently or too much and I really appreciate that mid-point in service. So despite a couple issues with our actual food, I would really love to come back again for a special occasion and try other menu options.

My family loved this place. We located to the area not long ago and have been looking for the«family» restaurant we had near our other home. This is definitely a place with great food. Let me start of by saying most of the reviews describe this place as casual dining. I definitely disagree. My family went in with jeans and T-shirts and we felt super underdressed. Many of the patrons were there in slacks and dresses. It’s definitely not formal dining, but it’s definitely not the ambiance for your typical run out to the grocery store attire. With that out of the way let’s talk about the food. Amazing! The highlight of the meal is definitely the garlic rolls brought out before the meal. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and it was nice and tender, with the perfect amount of crisp. We ordered our 5 year old the small cheese pizza and it was huge! Our teenager ordered lasagna and she thought is was the best she’d ever had at a restaurant. I order some Veal pasta and my hubby had the chicken Piccata. Both were great. The only reason why I didn’t give this restaurant 5 stars is because each course came out very quick. We didn’t really have time to eat our appetizer before our salads arrived. Almost immediately after our salads we were brought our entrée. As a result we had partly eaten plates of each course, which left us no room on our table. Any time my entrée and salad come out together I feel a little cheated. I don’t want my main course to get cold so I eat it first. By the time I make it to my salad I’m usually full and of course it’s not worth it to take a dressed salad to go. If we had a little more spacing between courses this place would definitely be a 5 star establishment! We plan to visit again.

Ate lunch there the other day and I was quite pleased. Price, portions, service(excellent), and food were awesome. I have had dinner there several times and was well satisfied with all aspects. I definitely will be s more frequent lunch purveyor.

Small and cozy is how I would describe the ambiance of this place. My family and I have ate there twice now and both experiences have been amazing. Let’s start with the bar area. Nice little bar with 8 seats. The bartender is amazing. She chats you up and if you are unsure about the wine you’d like, she will let you sample a few to get the perfect one. The owner is there every night and walks the floor chatting with the patrons to ensure they are having the best experience possible. The menu has all the staples of a good Italian restaurant, and also has a few specialties. The before dinner bread comes accompanied with a delicious garlic infused oil. If you are in the mood for Italian, pass on Olive Garden and give this place a try.

Our first trip to this establishment. I cannot even describe how delicious the homemade bread was. Fresh crisp lettuce served in a side salad. We ordered the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and the batter was amazing. We thought they were baked because there was no grease or oily texture. Very cheesy and wonderful! I ordered Fetuccini Alfredo and added chicken. The creamy Alfredo sauce was perfectly flavored. The chicken and the noodles were cooked just right. Our waitress was very attentive and did a nice job. Great place to have our anniversary dinner and I can predict that we will eat here again. Soon!

So far, this is the best Italian food I have found. This is a great little place. It was hard to find at first. It’s in a little shopping center and it was hard to see their sign from the street. They had a large banner by the road, but it was after the shopping center it was in, so we passed it the first time and had to turn around and go back. The inside is very cute and cozy. The music was a little loud for my taste. The food is excellent. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer which was cooked just right. Their complimentary yeast rolls are so good, I could make a meal of just those. I ordered the tortellini rustica which was amazing and had just the right amount of sauce. It was heavily sauced but not over-sauced. The leftovers were just as good the next day re-heated in the microwave. My mom ordered the chicken piccata, her favorite, and she really liked hers too. I also ordered the chocolate crème brûlée which was a special and it was to die for. It was so rich and chocolatey, it’s a chocoholics dream. The owner John came out and greeted us while we were there and told us his wife Rachel was the chef.

I came here for lunch, hungry and excited for some well-rated Italian food. The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff was very attentive and courteous. But honestly the food was not good. I love a cold, crisp salad as much as the next omnivore, but my salad was nearly frozen. The lettuce was ice cold and frosted in some parts, which made it unenjoyable. Next was my lasagna, which was recommended by my server. One word: SALTY! On top of all that, there was too much cheese. Okay, I love cheese. I never had a cheese I didn’t like. I eat it every chance I get. But this dish was so overpowering with cheese and an extremely salty sauce, I had problems finding any actual pieces of lasagna pasta. I’m surprised the lasagna is such a popular dish according to my server.

Everything is just OK. I’ve never been here and had all my party’s order come out right/at all from the kitchen. The owner has been my server both times I’ve been and made the excuse«I’m usually not a server» both times. Clearly that’s untrue, so it’s time to step up your game. The sauce tastes like it’s from a jar. The pasta looks and tastes like it’s cheap grocery brand. The«house» salad dressing is just gross super sweetened marinara sauce and the Caesar salad tastes like it came from a bag mix. The crème brûlée is abysmal. The rolls had potential, but ours came out cold, hard and soaked in that weird orange grease that drips off of cheap pizza. I wouldn’t serve the food nor use the cheesy logo that looks like a kid designed it at any restaurant I consult for. If they want to truly bill themselves as a good Italian restaurant, some big changes need to be made. Next time I will just stick to Cairnos.
