I always go to this Dairy Queen for a small twist dipped in chocolate and I’m never disappointed. :) I feel like DQ is notoriously known for having long drive-thru lines so I always skip the drive-thru and head inside for faster service. This proved to be true this past Saturday evening. We headed over to DQ around 8:30PM and the parking lot and drive-thru were packed. We hopped out of the car and headed inside. There was a bit of a wait inside as there were 3 or 4 groups in front of us, but not too bad. When we walked back to the car with our treats, I noticed that the cars in the drive-thru had moved one car length in about the 15 minutes. It pays to go inside. :) As with any fast food place, there’s a high rate of turnover so it seems they’re always training someone and the person taking your order may be a little slower. No biggie, just a good way to practice patience.

I’ve only been inside once to return a blizzard. YESTHATSRIGHT A BLIZZARD! BUT, it’s because they gave me one that I didn’t want and it probably got messed up because of how many people order these at the drive-thru. Anyways, I never order anything but the blizzards here so I can’t really tell you anything about the regular food. My go-to blizzard is the brownie batter. I literally get nothing else from Dairy Queen. It’s the best dessert you can get without having to go and sit down somewhere at a restaurant. I think it’s kind of dumb that they have to flip the cup, but I understand the reasoning behind it. If you’re looking at this review wondering what you should get, just get a blizzard. I don’t think anything else on the menu really matters.

Closed 30 minutes early. Then saw several reviews saying the same thing. It was 9:34 and I see them cleaning and not acknowledging my presences. 10pm is close time guys! Corporate wouldn’t be happy about this.

Horrible customer service. We would order a meal and dumb girl would be like ok hold on after each thing. Took like 20 minutes to get THREEMEALS and then they forgot something. Never going here again.

5 stars for blizzards only. People, have you ever had a bad blizzard? Because I haven’t. It isn’t rocket science, its ice cream and teenagers serving it. It is not the place I would go for food, and I don’t expect anything fancy. But it is the only place to get a blizzard, and that is why I go.

I asked for a Star Wars inspired cake for my son’s birthday. I wasn’t disappointed. It was good in flavor, but check this design out. I’m sooooooo impressed!

I am done with this location. All the bad reviews are totally correct. This is the only Dairy Queen in my area, so I tend to go about once a week for a simple dipped cone. I don’t know how they manage to screw it up, but they always make it look like crap, leaning and half dipped, dripping all over the place. The workers are all extremely young and inexperienced, seemingly not trained at all. They tend to always have that lost look, and never ever say thank you. This time I ordered a dipped waffle cone. First guy said they were out of chocolate dip, I said okay just plain. Then, to my confusion, another worker handed me a dipped cone. She said the chocolate wasn’t working correctly, and that it looked weird but tasted the same. Irritated, I took it and drove off. The cone was soggy from the runny, thin chocolate sauce they dipped it in, and stale. When I took a bite of the ice cream, I realized it was spoiled! I returned it for a refund. So disgusting. Never again.

Great for deserts! If ordering blizzards they may be cross contaminated, ask to have the machine cleaned first. I love peanut butter parfaits with chocolate ice cream. They have just remodeled recently too. Gwen makes the best ice cream treats ever!

Unilocal really needs to allow reviewers to rate 0 stars. This place needs negative stars. I knew I should have just driven a few more minutes to Mukilteo to that DQ which is always clean and reasonably quick. After being told«hold on» over the speaker because the employee couldn’t handle taking money and taking at the same time(yes, you must have been overwhelmed with that one car ahead of me), I ordered a very simple order. Which sent the same employee saying«…whaaaat???» Get to the window and pay. And that was it. Got to the point I looked in to see what was going on, only to hear and see that same freaking employee saying«oh hey, what’s up man?» And talking over his effing Bluetooth in his ear. Continue to sit there. Finally hear a female voice«is this done?» And she comes to the window and rudely shoves my order at me. Okay, that’s great that you are using all of your energy to glare at the driver behind me, but you’re almost burning my face with that greasy bag. Get home to find the chicken in my wrap is so old that it’s gray. Yes, gray. And when I broke a piece apart it had little chunks of slime in it. Yes, chunky balls. Fries were not even cooked, yet hot as hell. After reading other reviews I can say they were 100% correct about the dirtiness inside. Went inside only twice and it seemed like everything was covered in dust, old grease, and condiments, and there’s a strange odor. There are people who will continue to come here for nostalgia, but for those of you with standards, avoid this shithole at all costs.

It’s a much smaller DQ but worth the visit! Parking can be tight when busy! They do great jobs on specialty ice cream cakes — we got our two last cakes there! They are very accommodating with last minute requests — thank you to the cake designers!!!

Mom and I went there for their $ 5.00 deal, and what a bargan! We had the three piece chicken strips with country gravy, fries, a sundae, and a drink! The food came hot to our table, and was very good. The restaurant was very neat and clean and we were greeted with a smile! We loved it! Great deal for a low price :-)

I find some of the reviews very sad, being the daughter of Eastern Europeans immigrants. My daughter & I came her for a snack, after a day @ the beach. It was very busy, yet the girl was friendly & spoke CLEAR english. They got our order correct, it was scrumptious. I did not see one unhappy guest. We will be back.

Why go to somewhat aging fast food place for ice cream? Maybe it’s a nostalgia, re-living childhood thing but about every six months or so I like to go here with my kids and have a dipped soft serve cone with that waxy chocolate flavor stuff on it. I wonder how this place stays in business as it’s usually empty. Must be a lot of drive up orders.

Came for pumpkin pie blizzards and went through the drive-thru. The guy taking our order just stopped talking, didn’t give a total or ask us to pull forward to the window or anything. Then after a few minutes very rudely told us to pull forward so they could take other orders. If he’s going to leave people hanging like that he should at least have the grace not to glare at them when they get to the window.

For some reason, Dairy Queen does not like to do business in the City of Seattle. Living in North Seattle, this is pretty much the closest location to my house. Growing up, my first job was at a Dairy Queen. There I was, a 14-year old girl, slinging DQ treats. Some things never change, like my love of blizzards. The only thing better than a blizzard is a mini blizzard. You can grab a small taste of chocolate extreme, oreo cookie, or reese’s peanut butter cup. Love them! A classic, chocolate dipped cone is always appreciated. For pre-frozen treats, ice cream cakes and dilly bars are some of my faves. Some of the food is good. The flamethrower burger is pretty good and if you got a little one, the kid’s meals are a great value. I like the mushroom swiss burger. This location has a drive-thru which is super convenient, but also very popular depending on the time of day. The dining room is typically well taken care of and the staff is okay. I like DQ because I get exactly what I’m expecting. Delectable soft serve ice cream and okay food.

HORRIBLEDQ! Filthy, rude staff, foreign franchisees who are just ATROCIOUS. They are highly disorganized and slooooooooooow! Why did the corporation give thee people a franchise and by so doing help to RUIN their trusted, nearly iconic brand?!

Man has DQ gotten expensive(or maybe I’ve become an adult and now have to pay for my own DQ). Typical fast food hygiene and ambiance inside, all the items are inconsistent depending on who is making them. On occasion, I still just want my DQ blizzard, and this is the only place that meets that need.

One of the few DQ’s left close enough to Seattle, why these units keep drying up I really have no idea, well actually I do know why, they hire some of the world’s slowest workers, some of these might be rejects from KFC! Anyway, this unit is not one of them. Run by an East Indian family they do a nice job of keeping things clean, service is decent, the drive-thru is the faster service but sitting down inside isn’t bad either. They have the freezer for cakes and Dilly bars by the box and oh don’t forget to get a DQ sandwich! YUM! Burgers are just okay, it’s a chain so I don’t expect much and this place satisfies. We really only come here for the fries, milkshakes, and the soft-serve ice cream. This alone is worth 4 stars. Cramped parking lot that can get full at times and don’t try it during the weekdays while school is in session, the High School across the street keeps them busy during the normal lunch hour. Dinner crowd isn’t half bad and like I said it’s worth a stop. I’m sure those in the South or East coast must think we in the NW are nuts to praise a DQ, but hey, there isn’t anything else around that is comparable!
