Dr. Hu is amazing! She is a physician and a healer. She’s gentle, caring, and kind. I drive up from Seattle to see her, and she’s well worth it.

Dr. Hu is a wonderful Dr.- She is kind, patient, listens well, lets me know what she is doing and why. Dr. Hu’s clinic has flexible hours that work around my 9 – 5 work schedule which make it possible for me to attend as often as I need.
When I first started looking into acupuncture I didn’t know much. Looking at alternative methods to help with depression and anxiety I turned to Chinese medicine. I’m SO glad I made that choice.
Dr. Hu has been working with me for a number of months and we began working on depression and anxiety. After 3 months of attending treatments once a week I could feel a definite difference. After 5 months I was a changed person– I had more energy, I didn’t feel anxious for no given reason and my depressed state disappeared. Alongside working on depression and anxiety she also is helping me with my hormonal imbalance and acne. My skin has never looked better and I’m getting a better grip on my imbalances.
One thing I want to mention is that this method take time. It is not a temporary quick fix. It is an internal change that takes patience and persistence. If you are looking for a Dr. to walk with you to a better state of health Dr. Hu is a perfect candidate. I recommend her and the clinic without hesitation :)

Location: The clinic was very easy to get to on Edmonds Way. It is located in the New Health Medical Center building which was a little confusing. Parking is okay, lot is not very big, but I haven’t had any problems when I have gone in.
Service: A caveat for all is, like I mentioned above, I have never been to any other acupuncturists for treatments; I have, however, been to other doctors. Dr. Hu is very warm and inviting. She seems to genuinely care about her patients and their lives, not just treating their ailments and getting them out of the room. Her English is not perfect (she can communicate well, but sometimes makes grammatical mistakes because she is from China) but she more than makes up for that with her kindness and compassion. She remembered me and what was going on with my life when I go in for treatment.
She was also a Western trained doctor for years in China before switching over to Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is nice that she understands both schools of medicine.
