Lola Event Floral & Design

Emily is awesome. She will sometimes leave flowers out that are extra from the events she does. Today I was able to grab some gorgeous flowers from the free bucket to give to my Fiancée for her Birthday. Thanks!

My husband and I saw Lola at the Seattle Wedding Expo and fell in love immediately with their creativity and design skills. We were pretty instantly crushed when we asked about their minimum (I think it was $ 1500 or something like that). We didn’t have a huge wedding budget and weren’t even sure we wanted many flowers since our ceremony site at the Arboretum didn’t allow for any set up. After searching all over, meeting with a couple of other florists and not being super satisfied with what we had been hearing, we decided to take a leap of hope and e-​mail Lola to see if they’d be willing to work with us below their minimum. They said YES!!!
After an initial mix-​up regarding where we were supposed to meet with Emily and Flick, we made the drive out to Edmonds to meet at their shop. They asked us all kinds of questions, showed us their portfolio, and we ultimately said we were open to whatever they wanted to do, provided it was in our colors and our budget. They seemed giddy when we said that.
We left, signed a contract, made a deposit, and months later were blown away by our flowers on our wedding day. They were PERFECT and we couldn’t have been happier. Flick and Emily were really accommodating when we realized we needed fewer bridesmaids bouquets, fewer center pieces, wanted to add butineers for our fathers and corsages for our mothers… so many things change in the course of planning a wedding and they were really great about all of it.
We felt so lucky that the artists at Lola agreed to work with us. We couldn’t have been happier.

I recently got married and worked with Emily for the flowers and some design elements for the ceremony and reception. I was absolutely in love with all of my flowers. She also created the table numbers for me from something I saw in Pinterest. She was also able to give me several different design options to choose from for additional décor, all of which I loved when it all came together.
Emily was so great to work with, always very responsive via email, well prepared (visited my venue prior to giving me a quote, which was very cool) and she is clearly very good at what she does. She was willing to work with me to make the budget reasonable for us and still ensured that we maintained the look that we were going for.

It’s really too bad there isn’t a 10+++ star rating on this thing! Emily is an absolute joy to work with. She is creative, supportive, and invoative. I cannot imagine doing an event without her! I’ve worked with her over the past three years and she has NEVER let me down. An event for 50 or 9000, she is there ready and willing! I think she is reasonably priced and works with what people want.
