This is a nice restaurant in Edmonds. However, the price is little bit on the upper end. The amount of sticky rice and mango they gave is very small portion. Overall a nice restaurant. I like their combo specials and golden noodle with chicken.

My husband and I have been coming for years, started coming when we lived in Kirkland, and now that we have moved to Bellingham, we still like to come, in fact, we came for Christmas dinner with my son who lives on Capital Hill. As always, the service was perfect, the food delicious, the coconut ice cream is always a must. I am a strict vegetarian, and their produce is ALWAYS very fresh and steamed just right. I am confident that my husband and I will feel welcome, and know that whatever we order will be tasty and not overly salty, not overcooked. The staff and owners are wonderful and I will not eat Thai anywhere else…

This is the most popular restaurant in downtown Edmonds and has held that status for years for good reason. Simply said, it is outstanding in every way. The friendly Thai husband and wife owners are almost always on site supervising and participating in everything from the cooking to the table service and take-out. They have exceedingly high standards for their staff and really go all-out for their customers. They treat their customers like royalty. They have learned our names which they try to do when you are regulars. Their menu is so varied that you can never get bored, and the food is always delicious. They are sensitive to allergy needs like gluten-free and vegetarian in a way that many restaurants aren’t, and I just can’t say enough good things about them! For years and years, we’ve always had a positive experience. They are so popular that if you go during the height of dinner hour on a Friday or Saturday night, you might have to wait a bit because they get so full – everything is hand prepared so they can only cook so fast. But the wait staff actually physically runs to get to you – they are so conscientious. We try to go a little outside the big rush hours. But hey, the overflowing rush hour crowds say something about the restaurant. With the outstanding combination of service and tasty and varied food, they are our very favorite place to eat!

some of the best Thai food around. Hands down just simply amazing. Their basil fried rice is absolutely wonderful.

Nice location and service, but the food is a bit pricy. Everything was really good except the fresh rolls. Too much sauce and it was mostly sprouts in it. Curry was really tasty though.

The service was terrible and the food mediocre at best. I have to assume this experience was out of the ordinary based on all of the positive reviews, but this is my review nonetheless. After we were seated we waited a long time for the waitress to take our order, at least 15 minutes. After we finally ordered it took about 20 minutes for them to bring out my mom’s order — but it was just hers(and it was lukewarm). They did not bring my dad’s order out for another 20 minutes so my mom had finished hers before ours even came. I finally ate some of my dad’s dish. They brought mine out about 10 minutes after his. The fried rice was burnt with little black charred pieces mixed in and no pineapple which it was supposed to have. The noodles were slimy and lukewarm with zero spice level, even though we had requested level three. And the flavor of the chicken dish tasted exactly like the noodle dish. They also delivered someone else’s dish to our table while we waited for our food and we had to flag them down to tell them it wasn’t ours. I have no idea what was going on this night. It was a Friday night so it was busy but nothing out of the ordinary. Truly some of(if not THE) worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. That paired with the subpar food was too much to make me ever return to this place. But hey we did get $ 2 off the bill for no pineapple in the Hawaiian rice…

This is my absolute favorite Thai food north of Seattle! Everything is delicious, the service is so friendly, and it’s reasonably priced! I also love that they do take out. Favorite dishes: Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle. You also have to try their spring rolls appetizer! Best spring rolls I’ve had with a super delicious dipping sauce.

Friendly service. Good prices. Good choice for affordable dinner in Downtown Edmonds. They have a great lunch combo too. Pretty standard thai fare, decently done. It is our go-to Thai place in Edmonds.

It was so delicious! My cousins and I shared a plate of Pad Thai and Pad Se Ew with a side of large rice, and it was as good as it gets. The service was good, but the food made the visit a spectacular one. Best Pad Se Ew i’ve had yet. Highly recommended.

We had the chicken pad Thai. It was a fairly big portion and quite tasty. Noodles were perfect and sauce was just right. Price was reasonable and service was fairly fast.

Thai Cottage was an awesome surprise to stumble upon in downtown Edmonds. The restaurant has a welcoming and clean environment. To start, we got the sampler that included two of each: crispy prawn rolls, crab delight, crispy flowers, and pot stickers. They were all amazing. Unfortunately, this appetizer was on a limited-time menu. I definitely suggest it if it’s still available. The chicken Phad Thai tasted just as good as I’d hoped. Of course it came with a very healthy portion, allowing us to take home a ton of leftovers(one of my favorite parts of Thai food)! I didn’t expect Edmonds to have such a good Thai restaurant but Thai Cottage definitely has a place there. We went Friday night and had no problem getting a table right away.

Pros: very friendly staff, even when a rude woman was giving the waitress trouble Cons: the food was pretty awful. I make Thai curry, and I convinced my boyfriend to come out for some«authentic Thai» we had two of the specials: yellow curry, and the fried green curry with prawns. The yellow curry had pieces of squash in it and was bland, the green curry was the better of the two but also bland and had an off taste, the dominating flavor being Thai Basil, which is usually used as an accent flavor.

Visited on a Tuesday night. Seated right away. Friendly and fast service. Ordered spring rolls, Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai. The food was delicious! I ordered three star Drunken Noodles with Chicken. It was so perfect. Every bite and the Vegis perfectly crisp. My mother ordered Pad Thai. She loved it but has been here before. The spring rolls were good as well loved the sauce. Dinner for two with a appetizer and tea for $ 32 without tip. It was a great experience. Can’t wait to go back and try the noodles again or something else. Yummy

My wife and I spend a lot of time in Edmonds. On this particular night we wanted something a bit less expensive and different from the normal places which led us right to Thai Cottage. We started with a nice appetizer — Pan Fried Calamari. The Calamari was well done and the dipping sauce was very good. For our main course I had Golden Noodles(Rice Vermicelli stir fried with carrots, bean sprouts, bell peppers, onions, celery, egg and yellow curry powder). I ordered it very spicy(four stars) and kudos to them it was certainly spicy and they did that without overloading it with the same old cliché«red chili flake.» But that’s about all I can really say about it. There was no real sauce on the noodles which were pretty dry and there was no real flavor beyond the heat. My wife had the more traditional Chicken Phad Thai and that was one of the best I’ve had which is saying a lot as I have three Thai restaurants near where I work. I think we’ll have to go back to sample more dishes before I can definitively state if it’s worth becoming one of our regular stops for dinner.

I am an Edmonds local, and this is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is delicious, the staff is polite and the ambiance is comfortable and casual. Prices are on the higher side of moderate, but that’s expected for Edmonds. All in all it’s a great place to have a quick lunch or a casual family dinner out. I recommend ordering all together(with company of course, way too much to eat alone) the yellow curry, crispy garlic chicken and phad see euw.

Pad Thai was just average, nothing exciting. My husband and I went there on Mother’s Day and were 1 of two tables filled. We sat down and were served water but were never asked for a drink order(my husband would have had a beer and I a soda if they ever asked) We ordered the spring rolls but when our meal came, I asked where they were and they said we never ordered them. We said we would like some but definitely regretted that, as they were bad tasting. When we asked for to go boxes they pretty much just took the food out from underneath us. so/so food, avoid the spring rolls(you only get 3 anyway), and terribly awkward service. It is quite pricey too I remember this place being MUCH better than it was.
