And very knowledgable clerks, they did the sweetest thing and helped a dad learn all about Magic the gathering for his son.

This place is legit. Weather it be comics, magic, pokemon, or you just need a good conversation. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. I just recently got into magic and everyone is really nice, even the young kids who smash me do it nicely. If any body is looking into getting into magic or anything and live in the area this deffinatly the place to go ask your questions.

50 cent comic bin is nice, but is completely ruined by putting price tags directly on the comic books. I’m talking about those tags that come apart when you try to peel them off. You could at least put them in a bag that should cost you less than a nickel.
Thankfully the new issues and non-​bargain bin back issues are treated with a little more care. Store is clean and they seem to be very knowledgable about magic cards for those that are interested.

So, we have shopped here several times and had a fine experience. Until tonight. Having an animated conversation with the guy behind the counter about Walking Dead, and he proudly proclaims to me that in the apocalypse he would be the guy out there raping and pillaging, taking women and whatever you have. I can’t imagine that he has had that much contact with the female populace, or he might understand that you probably shouldn’t brag about your rapey ambitions to your female clientele. He then let me and my (black) husband know that he has been listening to R&B today to remind himself that not everything that comes out of the black community is bad. *face palm* Really? And somehow this whole thing started by talking about female Thor! How did we get here? I really wanted the Thor #2, so I paid and left. I feel dirtier for it. Never giving them my money again. I am tired of dismissing blatantly sexist behavior in the geek community. This place is not female friendly, so be warned.

Stopped by for the first time with a friend while looking for Yu-​Gi-​Oh cards.
A vast collection of practically everything! Comic books, trading cards, board games, etc. There’s a large collection of comics and a great diversity of trading cards. You can find Magic, Yu-​Gi-​Oh, My Little Pony, etc.
The pricing here is a bit hit or miss. Definitely some good deals, but things like some trading card boxes were overpriced by a couple some dollars. Older comics were still cover price despite being back issues.
The shop itself is well maintained. Very organized and nothing is really hard to find. Doesn’t even smell!
The shop owner was really nice. Had a conversation about trading cards and exchanged a couple jokes here and there.
I’ll definitely stop by again if I’m ever in the area!

I just recently got back into collecting comics. I stopped in this place before a Jet City Rollergirls (shameless plug) bout a couple weeks ago and I was there for easily over an hour. The staff was very approachable and were very friendly. Their selection on back issues is pretty good, best I’ve seen within my personal bubble. I will definitely go back.

Very cool local card and comic shop. Friendly and knowledgable staff. They buy old collections and sell new and used cards (Magic, Pokemon, sports cards, etc). The shop has a decent board game selection too. Check out the vending machines in the corner for unique prizes.

Great customer service and great selection. Fun environment. They will do special orders and customize your experience.

Close to my house, that is what I need for a hobby store.
Small store? who cares! They have a lot of comics, maybe all of TCG that exist, accessories for TCG, and comics. The price is reasonable.
Cool owner who takes everything as a joke. That what I like about him.
One improvement that they need is the place. It is quite small.

I work in the same complex as this store. I went in originally because it was convenient but I’ve come back because this place is awesome.
The staff quickly learned my name and could guess what I was getting after only a couple visits. If I wanted it to, this would make my stop quick and easy but if I have time to kill its a great place to catch a few minutes of a sports game, because the TV ususally has a good game on, or just have a good conversation with the guys there.
They have a good selection of the big comic titles and if you are looking for something more specific they are happy to order it. I don’t know sports cards but for Magic they have a good variety of singles and have regular FNM and sunday events so you can meet other Magic players.

When someone writes a review and goes out of their way to name other businesses I can’t help but wonder are you really reviewing or are you just trying to market your own business?
I’ve been going to World of Collections for ten years strong to get my weekly stash of comics and don’t see that changing unless they decide to move out of the area. The two owners are friendly, personable and will talk about anything and everything. Maybe a bit opinionated but I like that. It means they’re honest and not phony. They carry all the latest comics except for the ones that aren’t big sellers but they can track it down for you easily if you ask them to. Plus they can order about any comics collectibles being sold on the market as well.
They don’t carry as much sport memorabilia as they used to because there simply isn’t the demand anymore but they still have some awesome stuff that’s worth checking out including a good amount of sport cards. They carry an impressive amount of RPG cards and their Magic card tournaments are very popular. They even carry Jones Soda! I strongly recommend World of Collections to any cards and/​or comics collectors.

One of the last great Comic and sport card stores around. The owners are funny and helpful and speak their minds about sports and anything else. They carry great old cards and have tons of supplies and old seattle memoribillia. My favorite sports card shop, glada they are still around after all these years.

I have been looking for a good comic store and didn’t realize that this one was only about a mile from me, tucked in the corner by Safeway. I was very impressed with their selection of sports cards, sports memorabilia and the variety of comic books. They have a friendly staff that are easy to talk to and ask questions. My wife even even likes coming in here and has surprised me with some cool stuff from here. it’s very hard to walk out without buying something.

I’m fairly new to the world of actually going to comic shops. I’ve been reading comics for awhile, but have always found most comic shops to be intimidating mostly because there’s so many comics in one place and some staff at some places can be a bit elitist if you’re not in the know about every comic ever made.
This place is so close to where I live I thought I should check it out. I’ve been twice and both times I’ve left with an awesome find! And both times I’ve had great conversations with the staff and the owner. They have some fun Star Wars toys and lots of games. I’ve mostly focused on the comics when I’ve visited so I can’t say much about the cards or games.
Overall, I was impressed by the selection of comics (even if most of them are the «hot buys» I’m sure you could have them special order something) and by the friendliness of the staff. I’m so glad I finally checked it out, only problem now is how to not spend all my money there!

I was not impressed. They’re selection and pricing for cards may or may not be fantastic,. I’m neither an expert nor a collector of cards so I won’t be reviewing that section of the store. However I am a big fan of comics and their selection was extremely limited. They have some of the newer bigger name major titles and nothing else. If that is all you are looking for then you won’t leave too disappointed. If however you want to peruse a little and perhaps find something new or are looking for a title even slightly off what might be called a «hot buy» you might as well have walked into a fish shop. You be leaving with the same results (though maybe with some dinner). The staff was friendly, though the owner (or manager not sure) was a bit on the obnoxious side. Calling themselves Comics & Cards is a misnomer. Cards & some comics would be more accurate.

Great selection of baseball cards and supplies at good prices. The people here are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They also have lots of other rpg type card games with tables spread out to play. The place is a bit hidden in the safeway shopping center, its right in the deepest corner of the center/​Go check it out if you like cards and such.

Love this place… We just discovered WoC a couple of weeks ago and now we constantly look for excuses to go back there. The owner and staff are very nice guys. Very helpful. One of the guys who works there is extremely Magic savvy. Totally worth talking to, if that’s your thing. WoC has an interesting collection… There are a few gems that you won’t see at most other places. I would say that WoC focuses a little more on comics, graphic novels, sports cards, and trading cards than it does on table top, but they do have the basics (and HUGE d20s!) There are some really great deals as well. We will be back… Probably again. And again. And again… You get the point.
BTW — It’s located in the same mini-​mall as TJ Maxx and Safeway, right in the middle.

The staff seem to know what they were talking about, when Starch-​boy AKA, our son, was into Pokemon, he begged me to take him to this place, while mom shopped next door at Safeway. We spent about 40 minutes in this place before mom came by to save me, whew!
Prices seemed fair, staff was friendly enough, SB had a great time and I found a cool holder for my baseball I had caught at Safeco field a year earlier. I didn’t know they made such a thing.

Yes, it’s in a strip mall. Yes, it is next to a Safeway…
But what you don’t know is that Jeff (the Comic Guy) really wants you to leave with a book that you want… They tend to only carry the hot books, but that is good if you are looking for the hot books (not too many people know about this place…) there is plenty of parking and they are open everyday, so they have that going for them… I’m working on them to make it a little more friendly to ‘newbies’
Plus, they have drawings often for Mariners tickets, so you really can’t go wrong…
