Amazing service and excellent food. Nice small honey feeling restaurant in a quiet location. Sky is a great server.

Great place with great food. We had a family of 4 and everyone loved their meals. The green chili was awesome. The service was good but can take a while with the crowds, but we had time and enjoyed our meals so it wasn’t an issue for us. I would definitely go back.

Wow, surprised I haven’t tried this place before. Great breakfast! Loved the Huevos Rancheros with the pork chili; and their sausage patties are awesome!

I’ve been here dozens of times and I love it. The breakfast burrito is amazing! Wait times are a little much and it’s not super organized, you kind of have to figure out who the hostess is and hunt her down which is hard because they don’t wear uniforms.

Fantastic breakfast! Very simple décor. Moderate price. It’s only open for lunch and breakfast. It’s right across from the Edwards Post Office.

The positive aspect of my review is based on the food. Different daily specials promise you won’t get bored by their homemade classic diner style food. Breakfast is served until 3PM(although I was told it is served all day). There were only two other tables occupied while I was there, but it took well over half an hour to get my order of French toast. Thankfully, we had ordered quiche to be brought out to us first. Unfortunately, that too took 25 minutes to receive, even though the vegetable quiche was right in the display case and therefore only had to be warmed up. In all fairness, we should have taken it as a sign that it took around 15 minutes or more to get our coffee and we had to ask our waitress more than twice for some water. I am not sure if she was new and perhaps not used to having a system down path. The strange part was that the only other waitress there was also working the register and when she was not tending to the one table she was assigned to, she was sitting at the table closest to the kitchen, eating. That was where/how I first saw her, so I thought she was on her lunch break. She kept returning to the same table to continue eating though. The prices were reasonable, unless you want avocado on anything, which is an extra $ 2. We ordered a chai latte and a chamomile peppermint tea to go, as well as a surprisingly small and thin slice of homemade banana bread. They were all delicious and just by the color of the banana bread, you could tell it was the real thing. Unlike the yellow dyed banana bread baked goods from supermarkets. I am not a huge fan of chocolate, so I did not miss out on the fact that the waitress running the register(as well as the place card in the display case) had mentioned the banana bread had chocolate chips.

This place was not very good. My husband’s corned beef hash was very dry. He asked for a side of hollandaise when we ordered, he had to ask for it again when the meal came. When it did finally make it to the table it tasted really bad, he didn’t even eat it. I can’t even remember what I had because it was so unmemorable. I think this place is going out of business soon. They cut back their hours and their website hasn’t been working in months.

The décor is nice and the food is pretty good, but the service leaves much to be desired, which impacts the overall experience. They seem to employee many very young and unexperienced servers. We had issues with our bill and it was just brushed aside. As a local, I want to like it and I want to go back, but after a couple of issues, I am unsure that I will.

Spotty. Excellent potatoes and omelette. Fresh fruit, while ambitious, had a strange odor to it. My guess: slight mildew from being stored some time in plastic. Don’t know. Water had soapy taste. Probably the dishwasher didn’t allow the dishwasher to complete its cycle. Unfortunate as the place has potential. Orange juice is not fresh squeezed either. I’d stick with the Little Diner for breakfast.

Amazing breakfast. Lemon poppy seed french toast was outstanding and the heuvos ranchers were very tasty.

We go here every weekend for breakfast — the side potatoes are incredible, bacon is crispy and their eggs are always cooked perfectly. You just can’t beat the food here for breakfast.

Food and coffee were good. a little overpriced to me for eggs. Servers didn’t really seem to be excited to help us out or take our Togo order.

While staying at Beaver Creek Westin, I ate there twice with my sons for breakfast and totally enjoyed the burrito, french toast and other breakfast items. No atmosphere to speak of so stay outside for al fresco breakfast. Personally I would only go there in warm weather to dine outside; interior is too busy and crammed. Outside air in Edwards Colorado, with a killer breakfast burrito= winner in good weather. Owner is from Cincinnati, so you can get your 3-way or 4-way Skyline itch scratched(if you’re of that persuasion that is…)

This past weekend I got to take the women of my family on our very first spa trip. I wanted everyone to walk away from this trip totally relaxed, filled with great food and awesome memories. I researched Café 163 and it was close to the hotel so we headed over. Initially when we walked in we were greeted and quoted a 30 minute wait time. Not unreasonable for the only brunch place in a small mountain town on a Saturday morning. We were sat sooner than quoted so we were happy. Took the server a while to greet us but they were getting busy so it wasn’t a big deal. Our server took our order and walked away to put in the order. Again it was getting busy so I realized the food might take a little longer. However, our BRUNCH food took 42 minutes exactly to get to us and that was after I grabbed someone to check on the status of the food because our server hadn’t checked back. The meal was good enough but when you’re annoyed, food doesn’t taste as it should. We had to wave down our server before she came over to refill our waters and at one point over filled a cup and spilled water all over the floor and our table but didn’t attempt to even have it cleaned up(uhhh…safety hazard?). Pre-bussing? Not a chance. We were waiting again for someone to come around so we could at least pay and get out of there. I finally asked the hostess to get our check for us. She said she would ask our server for us. Waited again and finally we couldn’t take it anymore so I walked up to the register to pay. In conclusion, I will leave the server we had with some dignity and not put their name out there but i will say one last thing. Being from service industry myself i know that tips are there to be EARNED and falsely reporting tips is called credit card fraud! Fellow Unilocalers I strongly suggest checking your bank statements and keeping track of your receipts.

We have been for both brunch and now dinner. It is definitely busier for breakfast and everything we had was tasty, though not the best breakfast I’ve ever had, it was good and I would come back for it. Dinner was tasty as well, a good alternative to some of the busier spots in town as it is tucked away and few seem to know it’s open for dinner. We had a attentive server and our food was good, again not the best we’ve had, but we’d come back for sure.

We stopped in for breakfast on Sunday on our way to a hike further out in Edwards. It was busy at 10am and we were quoted a 15 – 20 minute wait but we decided to sit at the cool concrete bar instead which worked out great. We started with coffee and newspapers and then the three of us chowed down on a breakfast burrito and two omelets — build your own greek(with rotisserie lamb) for my husband and mushroom, avocado and goat cheese for me($ 10 each). Holy moly, it was one of the best omelets I have EVER had. I’m normally one to only eat half of a huge omelet and save the rest for another day, but I knew after I took my first bite that I was devouring my entire plate. Which I did… easily! Actually, it was quite painful afterward but totally worth it. My sourdough toast came with homemade strawberry jam and I loved the thinly sliced breakfast potatoes. Every bite was perfect. My only and very minor complaint was that I was burping up oil from the potatoes all day long. As a lover and eater of many big breakfasts, that has never happened to me in my life. But everything else was delightful — plentiful free parking, outdoor seating, full bar, friendly servers, modern/comfy décor and a small but just broad enough menu.

Small place in Edwards that seems to cater to a local crowd. Menu has some items on time limits(only available after 11 a.m.). Scott had the corned beef hash with two eggs and enjoyed it, but his breakfast potatoes were over cooked. No eggs for me but I tried the veggie chili(side item) and it was tasty. Once the place filled up it was loud. Service was slow but friendly.

Not so hot. Servers are nice enough but it wasn’t enough to carry the sub par breakfast offerings. This place its pretty pricey for breakfast. No longer an option for us even though it is a good atmosphere. There is just something that is «missing» about this place-Can’t put my finger on it & don’t really care to.

We were told Café 163 is new-er but has really good food! The pretty concierge Heidi and Unilocal has been pretty consistent with great suggestions. So off we went. It was snowing hard but hunger won! First that struck me was the openess of the layout. You can see outside and yet it’s very cozy inside. The front door is facing a small courtyard with a very nice view of the falling snow. We chose to sit next to the front door by the counter. Comfortable chairs and possibly the best spot to people watch. Lucked out! I had the French toast uisng a Hawaiian sweet bread with strawberries and company had the corned beef hash again! Haha! Well, we both loved our brunch. Our server was a cool dude. He was efficient and has a quite way about him. :) Easy parking when we got there. Freezing outside but super cozy inside. Awesome food, great service, short wait for food. No Monku!
