I needed a meal for a training group of 24, and decided on something simple: boxed lunch from Subway. I stopped by to talk it over, and a manager named Ruth helped me out. She suggested an assortment of sandwiches, chips, and cookies, I stopped in a few days later to pre-pay(@ $ 5.50 each), and my food was ready for pickup at the appointed date and time. Each visit, I noticed the place had plenty of people eating, not overpacked, but comfortably full. It’s a nice location for a Subway, with Global Brew and Wasabi and Bin 51 and Craft Chophouse all in the same complex.

I’m a big fan of Subway, and I’ve been to this location many times. My one criticism is that the employee turnover rate there is extremely high. Just as an employee has honed their sandwich-making skills, they disappear into the abyss, never to be seen again. So you will get a sloppy, overstuffed, or skimpy sub every once in a while. My guess is that there is one-in-three chance that a trainee is behind the counter at any given time, so sometimes the service suffers. Other than that, this Subway has fed me to my satisfaction for many years(before it moved to S. Buchanan it was on Main St.). I love the $ 5.00 foot long subs, and if you want to shell out a bit more money, I highly recommend the buffalo chicken sub with ranch dressing.
