Menards is a good place to go if you’re bored and it’s raining or if you’re stoned or if you’re just a person that exists.
Also I guess if you’re trying to build/​fix/​make whatever people do.
They set up in room sections and it’s fun to walk through the light aisles, all lit up of course. Take a trip to the bath section where giant baths hang off the wall. Jacuzzis and showers and sinks and toilets fill aisles, dream up your dream home.
Open and shut the doors in the makeshift house near the back of the store. Find the kid’s play area and lounge in the patio sets. Go out to the green house/​foliage/​flower/​plant section and wander around in season.
I miss Menards.

I love this place! I wish we had them where I currently live.
The best way to describe Menard’s would be to think of the love child of Home Depot and Walmart. They have a little bit of everything here– lumber, toilets, groceries, pet supplies, lawn decorations, etc.
The staff are friendly and generally easy to find if you need help.
