Ordered my drinks. Asked POLITELY if they could provide us with a small bag of ice to keep some leftover food cold. Nickie, the barista, shocked me with her answer and attitude. Embarrassed the friendly girl at the register too. You’d have thought I asked for Chinese food, or pizza… no, just a small bag of ice.
Rude.
Won’t be back.

Great starbucks! I was passing thru, friendly engaged employees… sandwich in stock. Bright and cheery. Convenient off the interstate. Instant refill of cream when they ran out. Nice job Effingham starbucks. Your city’s name is silly!

For the only Starbucks in the middle of nowhere for hundreds of miles around, and the only one from Chicago to Little Rock on the I-​57, this place was super-​speedy and efficient. (Unlike other similar nowhere Starbucks where the line is a half hour long, like the one from LA to Bakersfield on the 5 in Lebec.) What a godsend!
By the way, Starbucks, why don’t you make an Effingham, IL Starbucks mug? You would sell a gazillion of those.
Excellent service as they’re known for. They know me on site and know what I drink. Early morning, I couldn’t ask for more. Also, their treats are delightful and I enjoy their music selection
