Pay close attention to the price as items are being rung up. I came in today to get a hat that was priced 21.99 and another hat that was priced 20.00. After my total was announced I thought it might have been a few dollars higher but thought to myself I’ll check the receipt once it’s complete. Didn’t want to be «that person» holding up the line four days before Christmas. So I looked at my receipt and saw that I was charged 24.99 for my hat that said 21.99. I told someone who was working on the sales floor and he checked the other hats and the hat said 21.99. So the girl told him to check the computer because sometimes prices change and they forget to change the tag. I told her that’s not my fault you guys forget, you have to honor what’s on the price tag. She said she was not authorized to refund me the difference. Really you can’t refund me 4 dollars?! So I said fine I’m returning both hats refund me my total amount, 40 bucks. And she did. Funny she was authorized to return 40 bucks but couldn’t return a few dollars. Ridiculous. Customer service is a major let down.

I buy a Lids card, hoping to save some money. The guy working the counter rattles his fingers across his keyboard, enters my name, address, email — the usual suspects. I’m charged and I’m out of there. Days later, I attempt to register my card online and I’m declined. I call customer support and«Ryan» tells me that the dude at the store didn’t enter my address. What was he typing? Anyway, the customer service rep fixes the issue and everything is cleared. The next day I attempt to buy something online, but my card cant be properly registered — again. I chat with a live assistant agent and she tells me that the store never activated my card. Get real. I work retail, too, guys and it’s not that hard to follow standard procedure. Come on, man.

Don’t use your debit/credit cards here!!! I purchased two hats during the BOGO sale and when I got home, I looked at my bank account and saw that I was charged twice for one transaction. When I went back to the store, the manager told me that it was just a «deposit» being held to insure that the funds are on my account. SERIOUSLY!!! That was pretty insulting to hear, especially when I knew that there were more than sufficient amounts on that account. He told me that it would take 3 – 5 business days to have it dropped from my account. It is now the fifth day and both charges are still on my account, as charges, and not«pending». I called the customer service line today and the associate stated that I’ll have to wait until NEXTMONDAY to call back if the«deposit» has not been credited back. What type of retailer does this!!! I really didn’t want to spend $ 115 for 2 hats!!! Needless to say, I plan on returning my purchase for a full refund in hopes that it gets credited back to my account, along with their«deposit»!!! BEWARE!!!

Came here to get a customized snapback done. The employees were friendly and accommodating and answered all of my questions. I actually had to take the cap back because of embroidery issues but they fixed the problem at no cost. Hey, the cap was $ 35! Thanks, Lids Parkway Plaza!

First of all, I’d like to say I love Lids! For years I’ve bought all of my hats at Lids and with an 11 year-old Little Leaguer, that’s a lot of hats! I was advised by customer service that the store would honor their corporate return policy, however when I went to the store and provided them with my online order number, they told me that they would not honor the return policy even though the hat was in new, unused condition. I won’t go back to this store.

Best place for fitteds in SD that I know of, seems to be the biggest Lids of all the malls around here and they always have hats on sale. Can’t complain, I’ve gotten a bunch of hats from here

My boyfriend loves this store. This is where he buy all of his SD hats. They are about $ 35 I think this is pricey for me, probably because I don’t shop for hats.
