This was our favorite Round table location for about 18 years. It us under ownership since our last visit. While the pizza was the same the customer service was awful. Ordered an all you can salad bar to go with our pizza. When we got to the salad bar there was no lettuce. Asked if they could fill it. Yes, the say. Twenty minutes later no lettuce. Eventually, I just asked them to refund our salad bar charge. Get this, the girl at the register says we are making the lettuce now. Huh? Then I guess the owner yells I am making it from near the pizza ovens. I see him walk over to the salad bar and dump a bag of iceberg lettuce into the bowl. I guess that is what you call making lettuce. We won’t go back to this location for awhile and maybe they can improve their flaws. Lots if fish in the sea…

The pizza is great. Its been my favorite pizza since I was a kid. That said, I have been going to this location since I was a kid. Multiple birthday parties, AYSO parties, CAPS league, my whole family has come to this round table. Somewhere in the last few years they have fell off at this location. Notice all the other SD location get a 4 star review except this one? Sunday night, 3/6, I called for delivery. I had an odd request. I would pay ahead for the pizza with my card and they set it on my front porch. I wouldn’t have been home in time but was craving RTP. The girl that answered immediate response was«I cant do that. Its against the rules and its my ass not your ass.» Wow, very professional and great language! So, I asked to talk to the«Manager.» I use quotations because I am a regional manager in sales and I hire managers for customer service and I would never hire anyone at this location. Anyway, while waiting on «hold» for the manager the little potty mouth girl says to the manager while laughing and mocking me «He wants us to deliver it without him here, haha, I said its my ass not your ass buddy, what does he think this is, haha» they all laugh and then the manager gets on the phone. I let the manager know that the genius smart ass girl actually didn’t leave me on hold and I heard everything. I made my request again. She denied. I asked for the owners or another managers number, she refused. I asked her what is wrong with her as a a manager and why her and her crew were so unprofessional and she responded«I dont need to listen to you talk shit to me» and hung up Its not«talking shit» amateur hour, its conducting yourself professionally. Yeah, its just a pizza place but #1 that was your choice and #2 You clearly cant handle it as a pizza parlor manager so enjoy spending the rest of your life living mediocre. I am still waiting on the franchise to return my call.

Super disappointed in my Round Table in RSD. I’ve always loved it because of the fresh ingredients but the last three deliveries have been 1. Late and soggy 2. Cold and soggy and 3. Wrong order for a party. The reason it gets two stars is because it used to be great and I think it’s the store not the pizza.

«» Pizza Is Very Good, But Expensive«« I have purchased several Pizza’s from the Round Table Pizza on Jamacha Rd. and all of them have been very good. The problem is that compared to other restaurants there food prices are very expensive. I love their Pepperoni Pizza and they do put a lot of ingredients on their Pizza’s. I just wish the price was a little lower.

Pizza is good but WAY over priced a small 6 slice pizza looked more like a personal size for 15.99 are you kidding me??? Ridiculous

I can’t believe I just paid 15.99 for a small pizza at round table I thought it would be a small pizza. ? Instead it was the size of a smores No wonder we were the only people in the place Note I do like the taste of the pizza. But a complete ripoff I can get two large delicious pizzas from fillippies for 30 bucks that blows it away. They definitely need(under cover boss here) As we ate we Watched the employees fill boxes from the buffet Pizza table to take home. NO Wonder It Cost so much to eat here They eat all the profits. When we left we never even seen another employee from when we got our pizza till we left. And when we did leave it was empty at 2:00pm On a friday. DONOTBUYSTOCK in round table. I don’t think they’ll last long.

Has been my goto sushi place for years and as a restaurant owner myself I know how hard it is to keep it consistent. Frendly service and good food…

We have been ordering from this Round Table for many years. Have always enjoyed the pizza and they were delivered within the projected time frame. As a pizza loving family, we understand that some nights can be busier than others, with longer waits for delivery. The past couple of times, the delivery has been a little delayed. However the last time we ordered, our pizzas were delivered almost 45 minutes past the time quoted. The manager was very apologetic and gave us a VIP Pass good for one free pizza of our choice. When I tried to use the free pizza pass tonight, they would not accept it. They also questioned where I got this pass and inferred that I was lying about it, at first. After being passed on to the manager, he stated stated that they were under new ownership and they only accepted these particular passes for 60 days since new ownership took over. No where are on the pass is there an expiration date or time limit. Unfortunately, we have decided to give this location the three strikes and you are out policy for late deliveries and bad customer service. I would rather give my business to local pizza establishments than this particular Round Table.

This review is for delivery: It’s a cold December Monday night, what we call lazy no cook Monday, or pizza weather. I’ve only had RTP in Pacific Beach. So we tried it in RSD for the first time as a delivery. I was quite surprised at the customer service, delivery was estimated at 45 minutes and they arrived at 25 minutes, and the presentation looked A-okay. The only negative part was the pizza shifted slightly to one side in the box. Also when the delivery guy came we had to ask for the Parmesan cheese and peppers packets or else the pizza didn’t come with it. I’ve never been into the actual pizza shop but I always walk by and see people with balloons and having parties there so it must be a cool spot for smaller get togethers. I recommend them for delivery on a weeknight when you’re too lazy to cook and it’s cold.

Honestly, my favorite pizza in the whole world. And the garlic twists are to die for.

So sorry, I would have liked to give them more stars but this is my second time here that customer service has been poor. This time I actually looked up their specials before I came in and I knew there was a free 2 liter soda with the order of any large specialty pizza. The young lady ringing my order made no mention of the free soda when I made the order, then when I mentioned the soda comes with the order and pointed it out to her on their website she tells me I needed to show her that prior to my order. Why would I need to show you a special from your own website, really Sweetie, cmon. Thankfully another employee stepped in and told her to give me the soda. Good pizza but you suck when you have poor Customer Service. Then while I sat there and waited for my pizza I heard another cashier tell a patron about the special, wow really. Also we waited a while for our pizza and when we got it, it was lukewarm, so I guess that was my punishment for calling her out, haha the jokes on you Sweetie, I prefer cold pizza. Just the fact you would try me like that, just sad and not how you should do business.

I only ever come for the pizza and games for the kids. Tonight I ordered the chicken pasta dish… wasn’t half bad for Round Table. I’ve had much worse at far better places. Pizza was just as good as always. The salad bar was a pleasant surprise as everything was fresh and cold with a lot of variety, not wilted, soggy and practically non existent like the Santee location. The customer service here was pretty great. Especially with 6 screaming kids playing games(not all mine!!). Overall I rate this place better than Santee and La Mesa since they only have 2 games that are broken.

The pizza was… meh. I can’t even say it’s where I’d go if I were too lazy to drive the few miles to get a real pie at Marechiaro’s. Two medium pizzas cost just shy of $ 50. That’s absurd. Their food will make a turd, though.

Terrible customer service!!! Ordered a pizza online and was a promised a fulfillment time. When we arrived the pizza was not ready and had to wait over 25 minutes. When confronting the manager about the delay in our order, he was extremely rude and said it wasn’t his fault that our 2 pizzas weren’t ready in time. He displayed no managerial resolution skills, was flat out rude.

Stopped in for lunch buffet. Greeted by friendly staff who took my order and asked me if I had a special request for pizza. They made a Supreme just for me and told me when they put it out. I’ve been to other Round Tables and they never have asked me before. The salad bar was clean and neat and everything looked fresh. When we asked about twists which were advertised in the Buffett, no problem! They made and put them out. Rest of restaurant and bathrooms were clean and looked great. Thank you for the nice lunch.

Excellent customer service! My wife and I ordered a ham sandwich at 8:15 pm on a Sunday(closing time is 9pm). I imagined the crew would not be happy to see us right before they close shop, especially for the fact that we were ordering a sandwich at a pizza place. We had been waiting about 15 min when the manager came up and asked us how our night was and if we were waiting for our pizza. We told him we ordered a sandwich and his left to check on its progress. The manager discovered that the crew had prepared the wrong sandwich(turkey not ham), the crew member came out and gave us the turkey sandwich(for free), apologized for the mistake and then returned to make the proper sandwich. They also threw in two bags of chips. Then after getting two sandwiches and chips for the price of one and more apologies then were necessary, the manager came out to check on us again. This Roundtable restaurant exceeded my expectation, especially near closing time on a Sunday night! We will definitely return to this roundtable, they value their customers and care about delivering a quality product!

I live in Rancho and go to this Round Table about once a month. I always utilize the coupons I get in the mail and I love the fact they allow me to combine them. Very nice staff. The dining room is always clean and the salad bar has been nicely stocked every time I’ve gone. I will continue to go and hope they keep up their consistency with their food and service.

Round Table Pizza has always been a favorite of mine, but with the total absence of Toppers in San Diego, RTP has become essential. This particular location is always mellow and easy to get in and out of. They now offer a monthly discount coupon via text message. $ 5 off a large pizza is pretty nice, guys! We got a large pepperoni and an Arrogant Bastard for $ 16. Obama says: Not bad. They also have a small, yet very decent tap selection. Coronado Brewing, Sierra Nevada, and of course Stone. I think there was also some shitty water beer(read: Bud, MGD) on tap, but I can’t remember now. Our pizza came out quickly and was obviously delicious. My only complaint is that they may have a few too many high schoolers working there. It was all fun and games in the back with no one watching the front while three of us lined up waiting for someone to help us. And those young bros saw us too, they just decided to ignore us. They instead decided to joke around with each other and flirt with the two young girls also working there. After a few minutes of three people standing at the register and being completely ignored, one of the jerk employees finally yelled«Get the front!» as they noticed another employee — probably a supervisor or lead — coming back from lunch. She literally still had her lunch in her hand as she walked up. She was at least on-the-ball enough to immediately help the three of us(none of us together) with what we needed. Come on, kids. Grow up right.
