It’s Subway what do you expect? Haven’t set foot into a subway in a few years but I had an old gift card to use up and we were on a walk. Got a footlong Italian toasted. The customer service was great, the girl made our sandwich then at the end a guy came out and rang us up so she could help the next customer that walked in. If we didn’t have the gift card we probably wouldn’t chose this place to eat.

So, I was just here thirty minutes to an hour ago — I work right a few suites down so I make a subway visit for lunch at least two times a week. I never had any problems with service(Karen is my favorite), food, or cleanliness. Although, today I got real grossed out. Footlong, chips, and soda came to ten dollars and some odd change. Well, watching the girl with her hair in a high pony tail with a skinny LONG braid at the bottom left of her hairline(would give a name but had no name tag on). That braid went into half of the sandwich. So I ended up paying for the whole thing but ate only the half that didn’t have broken off hair in it. I’ll just make sure Karen makes my sandwiches for now on if I go back.

1 employee working on a Saturday at 2pm. Line took half an hour. Sandwich came out like crap. I will be going to SubMarina or Jersey Mikes from now on, both are in the same neighborhood.

I can understand them not having a public restroom for customers to wash their hands before eating, but when I asked for hand sanitizer they didn’t have any. The person at the counter suggested I could use McDonald’s/Albertson’s public restrooms. To me, that’s a huge inconvenience. I am giving this location 2 stars. One for cleanliness, the other because the person who helped me was nice.

We stopped by here yesterday to order some Sandwiches. When we pulled up a young lady and a male co-worker were outside smoking in uniform and with their apron on. She walked in and immediately started washing her hands. I then asked her if she had another apron and if she could please change it. She stated she didn’t and told me she won’t be touching her apron. I informed her that she was outside smoking with it on. Last time I checked aprons weren’t allowed to leave the food prepping area??? We left and went to Jersey Mikes. DISGUSTING!!!

This place is slow only one person working there. Be ready to wait 20 minutes for a sub

So, I have been to many different subways over the years but this was by far the best ever. I had a BMT Adriana style. and it was amazing.

I’m not like subway crazy, but i feel that i go to this location a lot. The customer service is kind of on & off. Some people are nice– they gave free cookies once! Some people aren’t that great, i overheard one of the girls cussing in the back because she dropped something, really loud, i found it unprofessional. And when she assisted in customer service, she doesn’t have a loud enough voice to assist in making my sandwich. And this was on two separate experiences. Another guy helped on another occasion and he was like eavesdropping in our conversations. We would talk and then would answer to a comment I’d make? I found it odd.

Easily the worst subway in San Diego. Service is always slow. When you come in they act surprised that they have a customer and then spend the next 5 minutes prepping and putting in their gear. This last visit, got half way down the line before being told that they were out of American cheese.

Eh it’s subway. I came in when it was slow. IM just thankful that it wasn’t busy because there have been times I have to wait a while. Staff was nice.

I came in on a weekday at 4:00pm & asked for a coldcut combo. They did not even have the meat to make the sandwich. I asked if they could make an italian & they didn’t even have pepperoni. On top of that, the gal waiting on me kind of mumbled her replies & I had to ask her the same thing several times to clearly understand what she was saying. How could a sandwich place at that time of day not have pepperoni or bologna to make a sandwich, or a Subway not have ham, salami and bologna to make a coldcut combo? I just walked out without a sandwich. Pretty lame.

I used to come here all the time until early this year. They charged me four times for my sandwich, then said I have to call the area manager for a refund. When I called him, he told me to just dispute it with my bank. Way to help your customers out, jerk! Then the manager changed, and so did the staff, and so did the quality. Then, two weeks ago, while waiting in line(rare visit, friend drove), a spider zip lined down on to my arm — awesome. Like the rating says«eek! Methiniks not».

I come in here when I’m dropping my friend off at work. I always get a nice warm greeting. The workers here are always friendly, calm, and quick. I’ve never once had a problem here. I’m only giving 3-stars because while they are great employees, they don’t WOW me. Its not really their fault. They are here to make my sandwich, get me through, and get me out the door. I never feel rushed, yet I’m never waiting from slow service. Subway is subway, you know what you’re getting.

In the rush to get ready for the 10 am Charger game start before my crew came over to watch the game, I decided to stop by here to grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast subway melt. As I walked in, I was greeted by a young lady who appeared to be busy getting ready for the day. I ordered the subway melt with egg whites, ham, turkey, bacon with swiss cheese on flat bread. The sandwich was toasted in their magical convection oven thing they use so everything as nice and hot and melted together. The coffee, Seattle’s Best was just okay. As I started to crunch on my breakfast, I heard a lady about two benches behind my talking to herself in weird tones. I started to feel uneasy but when I turned to look at her to see what was up, I presumed she was homeless and had issues so I decided to ignore her. I felt kinda sorry for her. We do not get many homeless out here in Rancho San Diego so she caught me off guard. Anyways, back to the review: the sandwich was good and the coffee was just okay, so the place is A-Okay!
