I have gone to many Sbarro’s in the San Diego area.
This one has one major downfall, constantly I go there and the bottom of the pizza is burned.
Today was just bad customer service.
My husband, father and brother and I all went to the food court for dinner before a movie. This place had advertised a meal deal. (2 drinks, 2 slices of pizza and 2 movie tickets for $ 25) We requested this meal deal and in a snotty tone were informed that they no longer participate in this. Kindly we mentioned that they should take down the advertising if they were not going to offer it. A deal like this is why we went to the mall early instead of eating dinner at home. When we mentioned that they needed to take down the sign advertising it she told us that’s not her problem, its her managers job and he wont do it, but also wont participate in this deal anymore.
Her attitude and false advertising made us choose not eat there, and we told her that she should inform her manager that the false advertising was a big reason we did not eat there.
As we are walking away she yells «That’s not my fault!».
I have worked in customer service, and this was truly poor service.
If I were not about to move cross country I still would not return. One bad experience will stick with a customer.
FYI: The other ones in town though out San Diego county are great and I have never had a problem. I am unsure of what is wrong with this location.
