This place has a range of Chinese food. Spicy pork feet was great but dry fried cabbage was quite disappointed. In general, dishes here were spicy enough but not authentically flavorful.

I would give 0 star, but lowest is one star. Everything is because of the oldest waiter who serve there almost three years, he yelled at us as loud as everyone can hear in the restaurant, cuz he required more tips for himself. My gf and I went there around 2:30 today. It was the young waitress who served us the entire time. After we ate for about 20 mins, the old geezer waiter gave us a check immediately, when he turned back to get our receipt, he read it, and started to blamed us and yelled at us saying«why did you give me only $ 4 for tips? Do you think we arent serving well? I tell you guys, this is America, I think you dont understand American culture.» I was so surprised, I never heard somebody say that to me, so in my mind I was like WTF is wrong with this old geezer. My gf said«the girl gave us good service, but the shrimp and eggplant on today special is bad», then old geezer waiter was like«did you make this up as an excuse because of what I just said? Why you did not tell me at the beginning», I cant hold my word anymore, I said«are you kidding? We said the shrimp with eggplant is so bad. We are telling you guys now because at the beginning we didnt wanna embarrassed you guys.» We only packed the rest of the food, but the Shrimp eggplant. I gave the waitress $ 5 for tips, cuz she helped us the entire time. But the old guy only gave us the check and required for more tips. I will never go there anymore, also I strongly recommend you guys not going there.

Me and my boyfriend come here a lot but this time was the worst experience ever. Not only the quality of the dishes gets worse, but also the service of the waiter. We may not come here anymore. Here’s why. Every day, they have the daily special. There was one called special shrimps with eggplants. It sounds good so we gave it a try. It turned out to be awful. The dish doesn’t look tasty already. It’s basically just mixing shrimps and eggplants together with some salty sauce. I suggest that never try something not on the menu. Those might be something that they don’t want to put it on the menu(since no one would order when they see the picture). If it was just the food, it could earn a 3-star until the waiter(the old man with glasses) asked us to pay for the bill. He worked here almost every day. He used to be really nice too. But today, after he got our bill back, he was judging us with the tip. I knew that we didn’t pay as much as usual but the food was just bad. He said«why did you give so little? Is it because of the food?» I then told him that the food was too bad today. He then said«did you just say it because I said it? If you really didn’t like the food, you would have said it.» He also judged that we don’t know American style.(since me and my bf are both Chinese. Okay, so the old man is too) As a waiter, how can you judge your customers like this? It just didn’t make any senses to me. He wasn’t even the one who served us today. It was a young waitress who served us the entire time. We ended up giving an extra $ 5 to her before we left. I think we may not come here anymore. The food is always like average. But we just cannot stand this kind of service.

Used to like this restaurant, until we ordered terrible duck pot. Inside the pot very few duck meat, instead we got duck bottom, neck and skin with hair. And the waiter we talked to did not even bother to say sorry.

Sichuan food means get ready for spicy and numbing to the tongue. I like their spicy cold beef dish. Their fish in hot oil soup was nice. Add their veggies soaked in broth and chopped garlic flavor, then that’ll help with calming down the numbness. Rice wine with goji berries was a unique take for dessert. Never had it before and it calmed the nerves from the spiciness of the Sichuan dishes.

One of the better Szechuan places in the area. It’s never really packed, but there’s always customers in the restaurant, at least when I go. Can’t complain about their service. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet except we received the wrong order once. The only pet peeve about the restaurant is their menu; it’s basically a magazine. If you’re going in for the first time, it may take you a while to go through the entire thing. I usually come for their lunch and their lunch special are worth it. Lunch specials usually include a bowl of hot and sour soup, a small salad and an egg roll. The portions are a decent size and I usually ask for half steam rice because I can’t finish it a majority of the time. There à la carte portions are pretty decent in size too. Definitely enough to go around. I also LOVE the kimchi they bring you in the beginning and I can’t get enough of it. I’ve tried a lot of dishes and so far these are my favorites: Szechuan Hot Bean Paste Fish Fillet(Lunch Special) Sliced Bacon Cut Pork with Spicy Garlic Sauce(cold plate) Chongqing Chicken Szechuan Style Spicy Cold Noodle Szechuan Style Hot Oil Boiled Fish Fillet Sauteed Cauliflower(or Lotus root) with Pork Belly Would recommend to others if you’re looking for something spicy!

Yeah!!! The best chinese food with a lil mix of dim sum and everything! Anything you get will be good! Pot stickers– yeah! The skin is not doughy and thick as i have had at other places around here, but not gyoza skin thin, as its not a japanese potsticker. Filling is meaty, airy, tasty. A+ jaming! Hot chili dumplings– dim sum skin thickness, same good quality filling as the potstickers, chili oil and all the good stuff! Jamming! Hot and sour soup, tangy, hot, sour, slurpful, chewy black fungus, delicate egg, bamboo etc. A! Won ton soup, nappa cabbage onion carrot snow pea etc, simple and good a! We ordered through Unilocal for dinner on Friday night. The flavor was good, we did not receive the correct food, and were missing the bao, so we called in and they refunded is. I believe I received Mongolian beef/lamb mix dish and really appreciated the giant chunks of ginger and garlic, and the sauce was delicious. But, there were some issues. It’s really important to advertise if you are going to leave the bones in the meat and cut it up into little chunks. There was nothing in the printed material that we received not in the Unilocal app that specified that there would be bone-in meats served. Many other places that serve this dish do not include the bones, and it can be particularly dangerous, especially if you are sharing the dish with family, and kids. Also there was this herb in the dish that was delicious, but they left giant stalks in the dish and they are too fibrous to consume. So by the time I was done the $ 9.95 we had spent on this dish bought us not very much meat to pair with our rice. So at the end of the day, even though they are the only Chinese food place that will deliver to my neighborhood, I have to give them 2 stars. One for the delicious crab pastry and another for the flavors of the dish I couldn’t eat because it was 50%bone.

Things have been improved a lot. This restaurant has been famous for its giant Chicken dish as well as the port shoulder one as well. However, in the recent time, the quality of both dishes have unfortunately decreased. Yesterday I went back to this restaurant after a very long time since last time. Eight of us ordered lots of different foods and we are pretty happy about the flavor and taste. I would not say they serve authentic Szechuan food as the food is not spicy enough. In the meanwhile, the wide range of food they serve can satisfy lots of customers for sure. We order the pork shoulder dish last night and that was pretty good. The main issue about this restaurant is time cost. Getting a seat might not be hard, but you have to wait at least half an hour after the food being ordered. And the situation has been very consistent. Last night we have waited probably 40 mins before the food is served. Hopefully they can do better next time.

The service is Great!!! I strongly recommend you hold the PARTY in there. My friend hold a Birthday Party there. They do reservation for more than 6 people. After the dinner, they played the Birthday Song and every body and cheered for us. For food: Their Kimchi(the pickled vegetables) is my favorite! Appetizer: Green Onion Pan Cake & Sesame Cake I highly recommend :“Stri Fried Dry Green Bean««House Special Cauliflower» «Basil with Eggplant» «smoked Chicken(cold)»

I really really recommend this place. I first came here for a farewell dinner for my colleague. We had 9 people ordering 9 dishes, all of them were so good and authentic. As a native Chinese who loves spicy foods, this is the best place I’ve tried in the states! Especially the spicy fish slices and the their special eggplant. I decided to bring my mom to the place the next day, so back to back visit! And my mom also thinks it a great restaurant to have spicy foods. This place is not located in a busy area so not many people know this place. But it’s really a hidden pearl I will say :) Definitely try it if you are around the area. They also served all customers a free sweet soup at the end, and it was also good(and differed day by day!)

The ma po tofu is excellent here: Fragrant, tingly and unctuous. The menu is vast and the pictures tempting. There is much care and flavor in each dish. I’m excited to explore more of the menu.

Service is good, above average comparing to rude Chinatown style. But do you go to a restaurant to dine for the service? No! unfortunately, their food is mediocre, salty and far fetched from authenticity. Beef with fresh chilly and Tofu is extremely salty and no fresh chilly but low grade fermented chilly and bean paste… Diced chicken and vegetable is extremely salty and the taste is just salty… Together I give 2 stars.

It was an interesting experience. The restaurant is pretty big and the servers were very nice and attentive. I was really hungry, we ordered a variety of dishes posted in photos. The best was the seafood sizzling rice soup, the taste wasn’t over bearing like the other dishes. The other dishes were too Salty for my taste. I’ve been to other Sichuan restaurants in the Richmond district in San Francisco and it definitely not that salty.

This is the real Chinese food. The best spicy food!!! The dish I like is Szechuan Style Crab and Prawn. It looks delicious and tastes really good! I like its spicy sauce and special brown rice.

Decent Chinese food for cheaper than can be found on Solano Ave, near my house. We ordered numerous entrees, and I especially enjoyed their cold chicken dish. Their green onion sesame yeast-raised pancake thing is surprisingly rather sweet. Everything comes floating in red peppers – looks more intense than it actually tastes with respect to spice level. At the end of the meal we got sweet soups of fermented rice. Cons: there are a lot of flies, including on the buns in the display case at the front counter. After seeing those, my mom decided against the buns. I saw two dead flies on the windowsill of the booth next to us. Also, there are fly traps hanging above each table and every time a fly flew into one there would be an extremely loud clapping sound of them getting I think shocked. It’s not the most classy place in terms of ambiance or service, but food-wise I would come again.

Wow, wow, wow. So far I got these dishes below. And they all deserve 5 stars. Someone is saying something similar, but this place is perhaps already better than China Village. I know China Village has been a famous to-go place for many Sichuan food lovers in the Bay, but this place totally surprised after these dishes. Their dishes tasted completely authentic, and they make it spicy when it’s meant to be. I will keep going back there again and again, and perhaps I’ll forget about China Village someday — China Village lately is always so crowded, portions got smaller, food tastes not as good as before, and they have a weird waiter that sticks my camera into my pocket jacket(weird no?).

My friends decided to bring me here for the first time, and I thank them very much… it was so worth it… even during this rain I have visited quite a few Sichuan restaurants in the past year and nothing compares to this place… Rarely do I head out this way due to all the traffic on 80 but this definitely hit the spot… As you will notice, there are tons of red lanterns in the front so it is really easy to find… we found parking just as easily We started out with a pork belly appetizer, covered in a garlicky sauce, hiding underneath it was julienned cucumbers… Then came the pigs leg, this often requires a days work to prepare so they must have some time to allow the leg to just tear apart like softened butter… Next that hit our table was the tofu and fish, this was so deliciously flavorful n spicy, who doesn’t love spicy tofu… At last, it was the pig’s stomach, now the pig’s stomach isn’t for all, after all, it is an internal organ and it requires a unique likeness… one that we have packed down… it is fried with peppers, spiced up just right… This is one of those very special places that out of towners would really like, especially those that like spicy… You won’t see my reviews as precise as this one, this really marked my appetite…
