As a recent guest of Eunice Plaza, choosing between 4 and 5 stars took a minute to come to a decision. But, my criteria for choosing a place to stay while my house was tented was based on the following:
Proximity to freeways — less than 5 mins. to the 10
Restaurant choices — multiple Asian and Mexican establishments to choose from
Management’s attitude to guests — Gracious in the old school way
Staff’s responsiveness to requests — asked multiple requests and all handled promptly
Parking — ample
Room cleanliness — Not only clean but fairly well appointed for a low cost facility
Comfort — minimal street noise as the rooms are about 50 yards away from the main street
WiFi availability — Fine
Television — HBO only with a few national channels, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN plus a Chinese and Spanish language channel or two (3 stars only)
Nothing beats your own home, but if you must choose a motel and budget is a concern, then this is the place to stay in the eastern part of Los Angeles County.
