The food was alright, but what really bothered me was that there wasn’t any restrooms.

Love this KFC! Everyone is always very helpful and the staff works fast to ensure great service!

This place isn’t supposed to closed til 10 and they closed early today «cause it’s dead» that’s so annoying! Plenty of other places stay open when it’s dead ie. My company and every other place ever!!! Oh and on a side note I saw a rat behind the menu board in the drive thru like 3 years ago, nothing to do with this visit but still think it should be known AND they never have Mac and cheese eff this place for real

Come here if you want horrible tasting food come here if you want some leftovers come here if you want to waste money that’s what they’re advertising should say

Usually the service is slow but tonight it was really fast. Where can u go for dinner that feeds 5 adults and 4 kids for $ 40?

Went to get a chicken kids meal for my kid late at night because she had being sick and that’s all she wanted to eat. I get back home and the chicken was missing. I tried calling the phone number from the receipt and the number doesn’t work.
What a joke!!!

Where do I start? First they asked if they could substitute crispy chicken instead of original cause they where out (5pm) then they ran out of original and gave us grilled? For a 12pcs? Never heard of a kfc of running outta of chicken? Then they didn’t have biscuits, so they gave us Apple pies? Then I get home and they forget my Mac n cheese. I mean give me a break. I will never come back!

The worst kfc around. Not too flexible. I guess they were not happy I asked if I can exchange biscuits for coleslaw for the man gave me burnt chicken. They do not deserve a star, at all. Next time you crave kfc, go to the one on Huntington Dr in Duarte. Very nice people and the manager is great.

I do tend to crave KFC but it’s definitely not the best chicken. I prefer Church’s Chicken any day. Their chicken pieces have very little meat and are always too oily for my taste. The store is small and very stuffy so I hate sitting down and eating here. No wonder I haven’t been to KFC in forever.

Wow. this has got to be the worst KFC on this planet! Chicken looks like it is weeks old. I was so grossed out on the quality of the chicken at this location. By the looks of the reviews, this place is normally like this.

I don’t know what the deal is with the food here, but either this location’s chicken is wack… or I have outgrown KFC. It doesn’t live up to my childhood memories of the place, and the food is now way over-​breaded and super greasy. What a shame.

Damn r u kidding me? Been here like 3 times this past yr n EVERY FXXXIN TIME they forget something. Then after driving 15 mins to get home I have to go back. By then lost appetite!!! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!!

Dear Kentucky Fried Chicken,
Turn this place into a drive thru. JUST a drive thru. Why? Because there are no restrooms here. Certain dining facilities should require restroom facilities. Particularly when your main entrée require eating with your hands.
Just found it odd. I’ve seen restrooms at other KFC locations (
), and as such I’ll be more likely to head to one of those. Are you trying to drive customers to the Carl’s Jr. (
) next door?
I was just passing by and figured I’d try to eat here on the way home. Walked in to use the restroom first… but there weren’t any, so we left. Never did get to try their food, but I mean, it should be the same as other locations, right?
So there you have it. If you want takeout, this place may be the way to go. But I don’t recommend dining in. Unless they build restrooms. You may find this review kinda irrelevant since it doesn’t even refer to food, but for a person that planned to eat lunch at your facilities, it was our primary concern.

I usually don’t review fast food places but coming here today amused me enough to actually say something about the place itself.
Why in the world do they have a greeter now? I mean, lol, its a fast food place trying to make enough profit to keep their doors open. I mean, you hire someone to stand there and open the door for me — additional costs at what expense?
Well, I’ll have to say that the expense went into your food. I ordered the 8 piece meal, which comes with two sides and 4 biscuits.
1. The chicken was NOT crispy. Erm, I don’t understand how it could be the case. I mean, lady-​behind-​counter-​there is wearing «#1 ZAGAT Rated». Well, Zagat-​my-​ass, looks like their credibility dropped another notch in my book.
2. Mashed potato and gravy were both extremely WATERY. I could pour out my mashed potatoes onto my plate and when the gravy went on, it looked like an erosion and slowly flattened out my mash like pureed slop. Pretty sad, lol.
3. Service is friendly.
So I guess *this* KFC decided to implement a new strategy. Make the customers so happy that they don’t notice how bad the food really is? Right, lol.

Been here a few times since I moved to El Monte. I’m cheap so I get the thigh, drumstick, and biscuit for $ 2 dollars. Sometimes I’m more hungry and I’ll get 2 orders. There isn’t much to complain about since it’s only $ 2 bucks. My only gripe is that if you come towards closing they tend to be out of the extra crispy recipe.
The food has a good temperature and doesn’t taste like it’s over cooked or if it was under a heat lamp for too long. I’ve come to this location multiple times and they got the job done everytime. I ordered food, got what I expected, and it tasted good.

This KFC is located on Peck and Ramona in El Monte. I don’t like this place at all. Why??? Because this girl name Jennifer/​Jenny or w/​e took my ordered I told her i wanted Original. So she say okay… to tell me to drive up the the paying window so I Did. I waited for her to put my chicken in the box. Then she told my how much, I paid her… i asked her nicely if i could have ketchup and hot sauce. She was like okay, and PRETEND to put it in the bag? O. O she hand it to me… and told me the sauces are in the bag! i told her thanks. Went home… GUESS WHAT??? THERE WASN’T NO KETCHUP OR HOT SAUCE? WTFF? RIGHT??? THEN SHE FKN GOT ME EXTRA CRISPY. IT WAS FKN OILY AND DARK. I ATE ONE WING AND IT WAS JUST TOO GROSS… I FED IT TO MY NEIGBOR DOG!!! I DON’T EVEN KNOW HER, SO SHE CAN;T JUST HATE ME AND GIVE ME A WRONG ORDER! UNLESS SHE SO JEALOUS OF ME? HMMM??? OR SHE’S RETARDED? Now i know why the kfc in el monte is usually empty and so lonely. Next time i rather go to popeyes in san gabriel or kfc up in san gab. Blah!
If i could give them a 0star i would. (; Anyways no more going to nasty ghetto kfc in el monte.

11 Herbs and Spices my ASS!!!
Wow Usually the chicken ain’t bad from KFC, but today everything tasted bland. The Chicken needed some of those 11 herbs or Spices whichever that were missing. The Mash Potato’s were bland as well.
I mean come on!!! When would you need to add salt & pepper to a KFC lunch or dinner???
Biscuits were missing something too.

I’m not familiar with El Monte, but I had to come out here for work and needed to grab something very quick for lunch. Not much around (at least where I was at) except for fast food places so I stopped at the one that was closest – KFC.
Their hot wings were not that bad, but I didn’t care for their potato wedges, and I really didn’t like their popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was all breading, and what chicken was in there tasted of nothing. To make matters worse, the breading did not really have a good taste. This experience reminded me of of the time my family went to Long John Silver’s when I was a kid. My brother ordered a side of clams. They thought he said crumbs, and they literally served a side of crumbs (just deep fried batter) on the plate.
I would only go here if other places nearby were closed. By the way, they did not appear to have restrooms inside the restaurant.
