Only 3 people ahead of me and took 20 minutes. They messed up on my whole order. 20.00 down the drain. Go to a different location people

These people act so dumb when I ask for an extra green sauce. Chillout, yeah the sauce is good but these guys act like I’m asking for an extra burrito for free. Its about time I say something, you guys are so stupid. This happens all the time, at many different locations and I’m not the one complaining.

*** THEMEXICAN«IN ‘N’ OUT» *** For fast food, Mexican-style, King Taco’s Sopes, Burritos and Tacos are fairly good… However, [I HAVESAIDTHISBEFORE] the true test of an authentic Mexican restaurant is their Frijoles, Tortilla Chips and Salsa… If those three staples are super-fantastic, then you have found yourself a gold mine… Although King Taco’s Frijoles«are the bomb», their Tortilla Chips and Salsa are«not all that.» Their triangular, yellow Tortilla Chips looked and tasted like they came out of a bag of Tostitos [So, I wouldn’t order the Nachos, which, by the way, are made with Velveeta-like cheese. Ugh]. The green and red Salsas looked and tasted like they were canned or bottled [not homemade]… So, sorry, King Taco. You did not pass all three of the Frijoles-Tortilla Chip-Salsa Challenge… *NOTE: The loudspeaker in the restaurant [used to call out orders which are ready for pick-up] is a replica of the one used at the Santa Anita Race Track… It is LOUD!

Rude cashier and rude food server. For the long wait, it is not worth coming back here.

The food on it’s own is a solid 4-stars. The wait to get a burrito and value is what knocks it down a star. I wouldn’t even say it’s particular to this location. As far as I know, every King Taco operates on the slower side and if they’re busy, prepare to wait 15 minutes even if you only order 1 taco. Also, the portions are small for the price you pay, so if you’re trying to get full on a budget, this isn’t the place for you. On to the food. On my last visit, I ordered an all carne asada burrito with the red sauce. This is my go-to when I come here and it has never disappointed. Then again, it’s pretty hard to screw this up. If I come with a group or if I’m really hungry, I’ll also get the carne asada nachos. Don’t expect anything fancy with guac and sour cream — this dish very simple. It’s chips, nacho cheese, and your choice of meat. My only gripe about this is the chips are sometimes stale which makes the nachos inedible. However, they get it right most of the time. The service here is so-so. Sometimes you’ll get someone who helps you with a smile, but for the most part, the workers are machines trying to turn your order over to the best of their ability.

Came in, placed my order — found out that their online menu prices are different from location menu prices — asked to speak to a manager so they sent me Rogelio — shift leader, explained to him the issue — he said just call 800 King Taco, so I asked if I could speak with GM he leaves and comes saying she is too busy — TOOBUSYTOTALKTO A CUSTOMER !!! The General Manager is Maria … I guess King Taco has become too big for its customers — I remember back in the days they were a lot nicer to their customers …

Came here because it was on our way … Our normal king taco is the one in Baldwin park. It’s less crowded here so that’s a plus but the portion size is also a lot smaller in comparison… and that’s disappointing considering that the portion size over the years have already dramatically decreased all around with King taco. We’ll stick to the Baldwin park location…

Bomb bomb bomb. I always get the carne asada sopes and carne asada nachos extra meat(it’s simple but sooooo good). Tamales are ok had better. Tacos are bomb. Fast service good food open late ok what more can you ask for?!! Eat here after a night out 10x bettter. Ps i would take back a star for their weak ass«policy» of limiting sauces per order… but this place is pretty good lol. Fix that pls

I used to come here for years, back when their tacos used to be $ 1 each, and their sauces were free. Then it was $ 1.19. Now it’s gone up $ 1.50 a piece. And they charge 70 cents for extra sauce(see photos). They still take credit cards which is nice. I feel like the quality isn’t as good as it used to be, having returned to this very location after many years. Lots of fatty goodness oozing out. It’s still a great attack waiting to happen. At least you’ll die happy.

My fav tacos! The carne asada has so much flavor and the red sauce is so good. If you like spicy. If not you better get the green sauce ha

I have been going to King taco on Garvey for lunch during the past two years. Yesterday I went to this location because it was closer to where I was. I always get two chicken tacos and one pork tamale. Yesterday disappointed me entirely. The pork tamale was ok, dry, but edible with some green sauce. What disappointed me were the chicken tacos. There was barely any chicken in there. I was literally mainly eating tortilla. I’m sorry, I asked for two chicken tacos, not a double tortilla. For $ 1.50 per taco, and chicken being the cheapest meat, I wished there was a bit more chicken. This is ridiculous.

Worse service ever! Pointless to call ahead because they put you on hold forever and when you call back they don’t answer. So you show up and complain, but the manager doesn’t care… of course! So like an idiot, I wait 45 min for one burrito. Horrible smh

This review prolly won’t pertain to any of you guys since I’m not judging my review on their meat. Since I’m a vegetarian there’s not much on the menu I can eat. I tried their nachos with melted cheese & onions, which I surprisingly enjoyed. I LOVE their melted cheese, it reminds me of nacho melted cheese. I know some places used shredded cheese and just melt it… No, that’s gross and not enough cheese. they give you a lot of onions and meat as well. Next time I go I will try their cheese quesadilla & if it’s good then maybe I’ll change my review to 4 stars. But I really wish they had more things on their menu for vegetarians. I know it’s kind of hard to have vegetarian stuff at a Mexican place, but other places have like French fries and eggs to make a breakfast burrito. Best thing about King taco is their hot sauce. The red one especially is EXTREMELYSPICYYYYYY! It’s like beyond spicy that I can only eat a little bit at a time, and I usually can eat a gang of spicy. They do charge for extra hot sauce tho, which sucks :(

When you want delicious tacos and burritos, King Taco is the place to go. Their best meat in my opinion is the al pastor. Pretty much anything you order here is good. Tacos are around $ 1.50 each. Burritos are $ 5 – 7 each. They are reasonably priced. Don’t forget the red spicy sauce and the green mild sauce. It adds so much flavor to your food. I’m a big fan of the green suace. It’s not overly spicy like the red. Service is alright. It’s a hit or miss with some people. Good food wins over service!

Good Mexican fast-food when you’re in a pinch! You can never go wrong with the burritos here(they’re huge), and the tacos are tasty too. I like the Lengua, which is generally juicy and yummy in my tummy. Lately though, the quality has varied, depending on the day. One day it’s delicious, the next day it’s dry. It’s very frustrating! They have the same problem with carnitas and tamales(sounds like they need a QA person to get the quality back on track)! The sad thing is, if I’m hungry and craving a quick taco bite, I’m still going to come here. King Taco has been around for way too long for us to part as friends. LOL!

Been coming to the biz for years, mostly ELA. This location is easy to get to and has much better parking than ELA, Pico Rivera, Compton and LA off Olympic and about the same as LB. ELA might have more spaces, but it’s just plain crowded most times of the day.(Yes, I have been to all those locations… I look for KT’s wherever I do business). The tacos, sopes, burritos and quesadillas are consistently good. For the hard core authentics, yeah, it’s a little Americanized, but I have yet to find Baja type tacos with this much flavor. My wife and her family are Mexican and they think it’s pretty legit. In any case, it tastes dang good. Get the Al Pastor anything. It’s that good. The Al Pastor quesadilla is really good and it comes with a delicious guacamole. The tacos speak for themselves and the sopes, while I’m not a big fan of them in general, are delicious by my wife’s account. Every KT has terrible sound systems and the workers talk right into the mic, so it’s hard to hear. They’d do good by having a digital display or just talking into the mic at a normal level and at a distance. Whatever… you come here for the food not the sound, so deal with it.

I’ve actually been to that one other location(Garvey) a lot more than this but it’s pretty much the same right? So King Taco serves a simple menu of Mexican food — tacos, burritos, nachos, sopes, etc etc etc. most of which I haven’t really tried. I’ve gotten the burritos and tacos and nachos, but actually would love to try some sopes… but the tacos always get me. Everytime. So everything is pretty good. Their tacos and burritos are basically the same thing except burritos include rice(and I always ask for no beans), but you choose the meats and they’re from the same selection. I prefer the tacos mostly because I LOVE corn tortillas. So my favorite meat is probably cabeza, and al pastor is pretty good too. King Taco is bomb, but they don’t have my #1 fave(chicarron — El Taquito Mexicano Truck!!!)… but it’s still good lol. But the game changer here I think are their SAUCES. The red and green sauces… it’s like Christmas. I prefer the red because I prefer spicy ass shit, but the green sauce is just as delicious and flavorful. Actually the red might kill you… so watch yo self. The nachos… well it’s ok. I probably prefer nachos from The Cheesecake Factory lolol just because I dunno… this one is just so ordinary. But it’s cheap. So you get what you pay for? So yeah, this place is always a good place to hit whether you’re drunk or sober!

I used to eat here all the time. This is another fast food place. Recently the service has been going down rapidly. They have a small selection for a Menu. Tamales, Tacos, Quesadilla, and Nachos. I usually get tacos, and everytime I order and Taco other than Asada I still end up getting Asada! Like today I ordered 10 Pork and 5 Asada Tacos, and I received ALL15ASADAS! They even short you tacos every once is awhile. When I go back to try and exchange the tacos, they say they can’t make the exchange since I took the tacos away. That is horrible customer service, it was their mistake not mine

Tacos and Sopes! They are a must try. So far the meats I have tried are the Lengua, Carne Asada and Al Pastor. I have had no grievances about the food here. I tried the Champurrado once and it was amazing! The customer service is meh, probably because of the language barrier. Oh, and if you can’t handle too spicy, don’t choose the red sauce! The green is the perfect amount of flavor and spice; for some meats you probably don’t need it anyway! This is a great local find and I highly recommend it for good quality and fast food!
