El Patio Bar and Grill

This place is amazing, starting with the way you are greeted upon arrival & the continued attention to detail.
The food was more than expected I had the Mango Salmon (exquisite) my friend had the shrimp Chille relleno & Shrimp plate.
All in all it was phenomenal

Had a meeting Sunday afternoon. The taco and enchilada lunch combo was fantastic!
Service was awesome! Full bar that serves great drinks. The mango margaritas were great. However the spicy, cucumber margaritas won our top pick of the day. Try it with Patron.
Be sure you ask to see their additional meeting rooms.
Highly recommended.
We will be back.

I’m giving this place 3 stars not because of the food.
Food was good.
Service was not horrible but seen better.
I don’t know if the waitress was new but she seemed confused and seemed scared.
But the worst part of it was they ran out of BUDLIGHT.
Also they only had patron silver not my patron Añejo.

Three stars and it’s only due to Eduardo’s service. He was AWESOME! Very attentive and cordial. Once he left we were left with the incompetent Sergio. He would leave the bar area and we would ring the bell and he would look and ignore is. Once he came he had a foul attitude and removed the bell. My group and I asked why and he said, «So that we won’t bother him.» WOW!

My wife and I were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in here for lunch on a Saturday around noon. As we entered we were greeted by Gabby, our friendly server and chose a nice table in this tastefully decorated establishment. While reviewing the menu (and enjoying chips and salsa accompanied by pleasant Latin background music, we noticed this comfortable eatery serves a more upscale Mexican cuisine (as opposed to the Baja style places we frequent also). My breast meat chicken fajitas with perfectly grilled onions and peppers were delicious and my wife also commented her chicken mole was also very good. After more friendly conversation with Gabby and a tasty dessert, we left very full and content. This was a great place for a slow-​down-​the-​pace-​and-​enjoy-​life dining experience.

We had our engagement party here, 3 years ago. Loved the food then and we are still enjoying it now!

We were starved — just got done leasing a truck at Longo (sidebar — great experience there too). I wanted Mexican food and a Margarita. El Patio was empty but don’t let that stop you! Sergio will mix you the best Cadillac Margaritas (only one of his specialties, I am assured)! The food was really good! I had the Chiles Rellenos with chicken and pasillas sauce — wow, Delish and the veggies were fresh and wonderful complement. We’ll be back!

Horrible service, over priced raw food, overall horrible experience. Never returning even if they paid me.

FOOD IS BOMB !!! this place is a nice place to bring a date. I know you would think, in el monte? Yes, in el monte. Its a nice restaurant the food comes out looking good and also tasting good.

First time here and it was delicios. Everything on the menu sounds good. Definitely coming back.

The Food is amazing and we cant wait to try everything on the menu .
The only down fall was that there was only one waiter working. To take our order took FOR EVER. We were waiting very patiently. The waiter was nice. I could not even put a dent on my meal because I was full with chips, salsa and guacamole. We where there for about 2hrs on a Saturday at 4pm. At the end of the day we where very satisfied with the food and it was so worth the wait.

I was really excited to try this place after seeing them featured on the news a few months ago. It’s quiet and intimate. There was no one here when we ate and truthfully I really liked that but was shocked because this place is so nice! The inside is beautifully decorated and the entry is really fancy. The waiter was super friendly and service was quick. After always driving by this place i had no idea what I was missing! I don’t see how anyone can rate them less than 5 stars. I saw some really good pictures on Unilocal that wasn’t on the menu and all I had to do is show the waiter and he was on top of it :) even offered another way they can serve it and that sounded really good so I went with his idea! Super good food great atmosphere! I will be coming back with my husband very soon.

1^st time here and loved it. The costillas en salsa roja was delicious!!! The environment was fun and service was friendly. I was told that there’s karaōke Friday nights and mariachi brunch on Sundays. Will definitely come back to check it out.

This is a little hidden gem!
The food is beyond delicious– every time I’ve eaten here I’ve been pleasantly delighted.
The portions are just the right size and very reasonable prices.
Also the drinks are super tasty and the desserts are extra yummy.
It’s a great spot for date night!!! My hubby and I really enjoyed ourselves.

Don’t go to this restaurant! I got food poisoning the night I went. The food was over priced and not good at all.

Wonderful wonderful food! Upscale Mexican food. I love the pistachio mole with shrimp enchilada and their salmon and lobster sauce chilli relleno.
Unlimited refills with my absolute favorite drink, Horchata!

Came alone, during lunch time for the first time. I would have never known about this place without Unilocal.
To begin, there aren’t many items on the menu, which hopefully means each item is prepared with care. Pricing was more than what I expected; prices start at $ 10 for an appetizer and range to $ 17. I was hoping to get lunch for $ 10. I ordered the fish ceviche ($ 12) on the appetizer menu. Ceviche was good… but I have had more food for this price at other places. Bloody mary was good tasting as well

Enchiladas divorciadas delicious! Chili relent with shrimp also very good. A bit pricey. I ordered it a LA cart and was charged $ 12.
Deserts were frozen not happy with that.

Cross between a Mexican and Italian restaurant.
Iced tea came and had a few pieces of ice which made the drink warm. It was really watered down and unflavorable. The second glass had more ice, but tasted the same.
Then the appetizer came which was one small barely warm roll that two of us had to share with a very hard small piece of butter. It was dry. Chips were dry, unflavoable and slightly hard and the salsa had two much of a tomato taste and not enough onions or spice to make it memorable.
Ordered what the guy on T.V. said was superb about this place.
His taste buds must have been off.
It was the spicy shirmp linguine. While only good, it wasn’t outstandingly off the charts.
If you really looked at what we got, It was spragetthi noodles with six pieces of shrimp that were kinda tasty but highly over priced. Then dump their sauce on it and taaa daaa… there’s the order… and it’s small. They also «DO NOT» sell burritos or tacos here.
The restaurant does have a nice appearance inside the main eating area and it’s right next door to a immigration office.
