Note: it is INSIDE the market Food: wow!!! So juicy, spicy, delicious goodness. I had a WET carne asada burrito… Combination with rice and beans plus the burrito ALSO had rice and beans inside. The meat did not have chunks of fat like I’ve noticed in other places. It was spicy so watch out. Location: very very small but very very worth it. Service: I love discussion my order with the cashier — always — so it’s a pleasure when they follow along. He and she both kindly walked me through my options until we decided the carne Asada wet burrito would do well.

Amazing! Marcos and the family have been long term friends of mine and when I found out he had opened up a restaurant, I had to go and check it out. Tostadas de Lomo are definitely my favorite. The sopes are the best in El Monte and I even had a torta to go! I was so full but everything looked and smelled so good that I saved some for late lol. Highly recommend you stop by inside of Carlton’s Market or eat outside at nights, hands down the best custom service as well!

One day as i was passing by on Ramona I happened to see they were set up outside and being one of those hot summer nights it was perfect for a Lg. Agua fresca so we decided to give it a try, we tried a bit of everything but my favorite was the enchiladas and my wifes favorite were the tostadas de lomo. Customer service was good i have no complaints.

I too ended up here just by chance. I was stuck in traffic in Ramona when I remembered I needed milk. So I stopped at Carlton Market when I see the gentelman cooking something that smelled sooo good. He had 6 enchiladas for $ 5. So I grabbed two orders for dinner that night. He made them right then and there. When I finally made it home to enjoy, they were still warm and crispy. Sooo delicious with soft potatos and meat and the sauce was to die for. Highly recomend it.

My wife and I actually found this place by mistake. We had just moved to El Monte and we were driving down Ramona Blvd when we saw this place outside of Carltons Market with a EZ up set up. My wife says to me «look, they make food from Atoyac Jalisco style!» Her being from Jalisco, Mexico we had to stop by and try it. As soon as we got there, we were greeted by the owner, his name is Marcos. EXTREMELYNICEGUY!!! Its a family run operation, so it has a nice homey feel to it. Customer service is TOPNOTCH! The tostada de lomo that I ate was delicious. The tamales de elote were really good as well. Some of the best horchata I have ever tasted. As we were getting ready to pay and leave, Marcos mentioned to me that on sundays they have menudo! I WASLIKEWTF!!! I am soooooo gonna be here. Went back sunday morning to have some menudo… ITWASDELICIOUS!!! With a mexican coke, you can’t go wrong! Customer service was extremely good, and being that this is a new and starting up busines… i wish them the best. THEFOODISDELISH, THECUSTOMERSERVICEISTOPNOTCH, ANDTHEAMBIANCEISWONDERFUL. I will and would definitaly recommend to anybody in the El Monte area to try them out! You won’t be sorry!
