Weinerschnitzel is my pride and joy. I love the feeling when I eat a bunch of weiners from Weinerschnitzel. This location was my entire childhood. When I was told to get exercise as a child, I biked the 3 miles to arrive at this location. Who doesn’t love 99 cent hotdogs? It was especially great when they sent me those coupons in the mail for cheap chili dogs and burgers. However, I haven’t been back to Weinerschnitzel is several years so this is a review as if it was 2010. The reason why I haven’t been back to Weinerschnitzel is not because the food is bad or pricy, but because I have found a new source of delicious weiners. But, Weinerschnitzel has a special place in my heart as it was my first experience of eating hotdogs and chili. I remember the dogs at this specific location were amazing and the chili was to die for. I would say it tasted just as good as the chili at 7-​elevens. Weinerschnitzel dogs were obviously more gourmet though.

I ate dinner at this Wienerschnitzel in El, Monte, CA on 1÷22÷2015. By eating there, I mean picked up my food. I’ve eaten there several times before. My chili dogs were $ 1.69 each while my corn dog was $ 1.29 and my chili-​cheese fries were $ 2.79. It is Wienerschnitzel #84. The food was good but I still miss Wienerschnitzel #10 in San Gabriel.

This is one of my favorite fast foods out there. Their chili is delicious and all their items are inexpensive. Their fries are fried perfectly so that they are crisp and hot. I usually get coupons so their meals are even cheaper. I would highly recommend this place if you need a quick and affordable meal. Note that there are no restrooms and there is only outside seating.

I hate this place.
I gave the guy a coupon for a FREE kids meal with the purchase of a family-​something-​or-​another and he CHARGED me for the kids meal. Also, drinks are suppose to be a dollar each if you buy a family pack and he charged us full price for our drinks. He also charged us extra for the strawberry syrup in our strawberry lemonade. The total price of the strawberry lemonade came out to more than that on the menu price. If the SL already has a flat price, how are you gonna charge me extra for freaking syrup?! In total, he overcharged me for $ 11. He seemed mean, so I didn’t wanna correct the order and also, my order my pretty big but if you’re gonna work at a fast food joint, you should be able to handle orders like that with more efficiency.
Be careful not to accidentally order chili CHEESE on your food. The 5 for $ 5 is chili ONLY.

Ate here a few times. The place is kept clean, the people who work there are friendly and courteous. Have clean outdoor tables with the umbrellas to shade you from the sun. Was a nice environment with music playing outdoors… not to bad for eating some hot dogs, and getting some ice cream on a hot day.

Cheap, fast and decent fast food. I usually just get the chilli diet which consists of the chilli burger, dog and fries. When I’m not all that hungry, it is a bit troublesome to try finishing all three. I’ve eaten some of the other stuff but I never thought it was all that great. Yay for Chilli: P.
Cons: It’s not actually German. Ich will meine Bratwurst bitte. (I want my Bratwurst please.)
