Good service and a good bun gave this two stars. Just Call before you try this place as I stopped for the bratburger(like the name states), but they had no brat. The only thing they had on the menu was frozen fries, burger and the kebab. The kebab was not bad, but I could tell the meat was improperly prepared because there was nothing on the rotisserie and it was cold in the kebab. Understandable to save money, but it was cold when I got it. One serious note: The city needs to check this place out to see if it meets hygiene standards. The cook went from dumping trash to cutting open the bun for the customer after me. No washed hands. No gloves. Straight from the trash to handling food. Two decades in the military and that doesn’t bother me. But, I think there is something wrong with that. This place has potential and is a great location. Unfortunately the food handling and overall cleanliness solidified I will not take my family there again.

Had them cater an event yesterday at my work. In addition to being served two hours late(they apparently forgot some of the food and utensils), my wife’s schnitzel was severely undercooked and my son’s «hamburger» was a cheeseburger with everything on it, normally not a problem if it’s fresh, but it had obviously been made sometime that afternoon and had been sitting in a Styrofoam box for hours, imagine hot lettuce… all our hot food was cold, the cold food(potato and pasta salad) was warm, and served after our kids’ bedtime, 8pm. The target serving time was between 6 and 6:30pm. the chafing dishes(the cheap wire kind with aluminum pans for the water) were primarily uncovered with no way to keep the food up to the standard temp. The workers attempted to remedy this by placing paper plates on top of the food. having spent over 5 years in food service, this is completely unacceptable and well outside of any food safety standards of which I am aware. No refund, partial or otherwise, was offered and our request for one was flatly rejected by the owner. We paid $ 40 for two schnitzel plates and a «hamburger». After having lived in Germany, I was excited at the prospect of doner kebabs and weisswurst, but this experience coupled with the restaurant’s apparent lack of organization and acceptance of culpability has convinced me never to patronize their establishment.
