What the hell, why did it take me so long to write this review. If there’s one thing I love it’s brats. So this is like the best food truck that could ever happen to El Paso. I think what I’m most infatuated with is the actual truck, itself. It’s the coolest looking foodtruck you’re going to see for miles. It always has some kind of play on Breaking Bad(except for that one time when they covered it in chalkboard paint for Chalk the Block which was only the coolest move to make for such an event). El Paso’s Wurst actually serves up a bit more than brats, but it’s mostly brats or things with brats in it and I’ve only ever had the brats because brats complete me. Everything on their menu is under $ 10 so that’s a win! The first time I had EPW, I ordered the most pun-fully delicious sounding item I could find… the Naughty Brawty. It was the German classic, Southwestern infusion I could only dream about. The bread had that nice crispiness on the outside that I love when eating a brat, but because of the length I’d say it’s a lot closer to a bolillo that you get from a Mexican bakery here in town than a brotchen roll. Either way it hit the spot. The brat was cooked to perfection… nice, juicy and plump. And the whole thing was engulfed in a tasty mountain of sauteed onions and jalapenos. Infusion! This foodtruck is creative from the design to the food. And it’s terribly good! If you see this truck, follow it until you can buy yourself one of their delicious brats!

The Hot Mami pastrami sandwich with jalapeño sauerkraut has just the right amount of spice — delicious! The Nawty Brawty is out of this world! Also, the Breaking Bad mural on the back of his truck is awesome.

Where to begin… El Paso’s Wurst puts food innovation on the map with creative takes on bratwursts and sausages. Look out for off the menu Freaky Friday specials(ex. shrimp tacos and 808 burgers) and sinfully good desserts(ex. fried Oreos and cinnamon bacon s’mores). Set in a neighborhood community, Tio Weenie never fails to provide the ‘wurst’ creations your pallet craves the most! Stop by for some fresh, local eats, a good conversation and support your community! Hours are usually 8-sellout, but check out before heading out! Enjoy!
