Love this place! Haven’t found an item that I didn’t like. The Noodle soups are so good and hit the spot. The spring rolls are fresh and the peanut sauce adds the perfect combination to the mix. the location is ideal if you plan to eat there or grab to go(which I do often). —must try — –

Veg in the Northeast! I’m okay with Mexican food, but my palate often craves different regional dishes. I must have Vietnamese at least once a month, which my empty wallet will attest to. Thankfully this place is delicious and close by. I USUALLY get the tofu sandwich, which they fry in a lemongrass sauce. Makes a grown man cry. They put in a crispy french roll with pickled carrots and cucumbers which cut the grease and make it a light refreshing sandwich. I try not to, but I can usually throw two or three of these bad boys down. I also get the shrimp spring rolls. I’ve tried the tofu spring roll(which is unspiced) and the grilled salmon, but shrimp is my favourite. Although, I don’t know if I like it for the roll itself or for the legit peanut sauce on the side. Put that in an IV for me, please. They do have a seafood soup, which I’ve had, but it’s not really pesc friendly since it’s beef broth. Only the one on I10 has a truly veg soup. Of course, you also have to get some boba tea when your there. They have a great assortment of flavours. On a recent trip, I tried the redbean boba. It reminded me of the filled sesame balls that you get at asian restaurants. That, coffee or watermelon are my favorite. I’m drooling as I’m writing this, so I may have to break open the vault and head out this week.

I used to eat here. USEDTO! The food is pretty good but the past 3 times I’ve ordered take out my order has been messed up. They’ll take your order but, when you pick it up they don’t «have» what you ordered. Or you take your order home to find half is missing or, the portion size shrunk from the last time you ordered it. It’s basically a crap shoot. Tonight there was a laundry list of things they didn’t have and were unwilling to work me. I’ve just had enough of your inconsistent nonsense Phở Tre Bien! No more! And no more word of mouth to my military community to eat here!

I have tried half the menu and will keep coming here weekly until I’ve tried them all! My favorites are the shrimp spring rolls, charbroiled pork w/vermicilli and you can’t go wrong with their phở!

I absolutely love this place, the charbroiled beef is my favourite, nicely seasoned, clean and comfortable atmosphere, the portion could be alittle bigger but I’m not complaining!

Was craving some phở and decided to try the express location. I knew the menu selection would be smaller because it is an express location. But, I have to say that the menu does not fall short of choices of food to eat. The portions for the phở is actually very nice. The phở itself was not at all what I expected though. The phở broth either didn’t sit long enough, or seasonings were not added. The broth tastes exactly like hot water. But, it was hot enough to cook the noodles and veggies in the bowl. The egg rolls were overcooked and burnt on the ends and the rolls were very short. The portions on that was a bit disappointing. Overall, if you have a craving for phở, this place is just«decent enough» to fulfill that craving. I’m hoping it was just a bad day. :/

This is a stripped down version of their flagship restaurant. This tiny divey location embodies everything a phở joint should be– generous portions, good prices & fresh & flavorful comfort food. This is one of the few places in town where you’ll find banh mi. Vegetarians need to try the lemongrass tofu banh mi. It’s topped w/crisp carrots, jicama, cucumber, jalapeños & cilantro. They also have rice noodle & steamed rice dishes. If you visit during lunchtime you may want to call your order in or take it to go as seating is limited & the kitchen gets backed up.

We weren’t too impressed. Nobody said hello. I stood there at the cashier for several minutes while the worker took inventory 10 ft away. The soda machine was inop so we got a can of coke for about $ 1.65. Phở was ok, the bean sprouts seemed a little old.

Ok. Update time. All is good with the food. There are a couple of things with the atmosphere that I have noticed that take away from the place a little bit. First, the music in the dining area is pretty loud but the music in the kitchen is just as loud. So I want to dance to both Mariah Carey and Nikki Minaj at the same time. Second, the blender used to make the smoothie like drinks is behind the counter and it is WAAAAYYYY loud. It would be smart to move that contraption to the kitchen.

Meat was old in my phở. Very dissatisfied. I rather go to the one on gateway. Much better.

A shout out to my fellow Unilocalsters for helping me find this place! =)(that is the term, right?) I love using it to find new places and this one was definitely a good choice. I just finished eating what I could of the take out. First, it was super fast… by the time I placed the order, got in my car, and drove there, it was ready. Second, it’s a really good value for the money because of the portion sizes. There’s a thai place around here where you have to get two dishes to get full and so I did same here… at least now I have leftovers! Also the food was very good! The soup(54 — seafood noodle) I would say was OK, but that was more a matter of personal taste than the dish not being up to par. I loved how they separated all the ingredients for the take out with the veggies and seafood and stuff being in two containers(well one styrofoam container and one ziploc baggie) separate from the soup portion. The main dish I got was 76 — lemongrass noodles with chicken. And it was GREAT! I wanted to take a picture of it all to post here, but then I decided to eat a bite then couldn’t stop — sorry everyone. =P But the ingredients again were separated within the dish to keep anything from gettin soggy or anything like that and everything was just perfect, haha. I will definitely go back here(after I finish my leftovers that is). I would definitely recommend this place!

The restaurant is in a small parking lot west of the corner gas station, a sandwich shop and a barbershop. If you drive too fast you just might miss it. Its a small dinner however the portions are not. It’s probably one of the better Vietnamese bun dishes I’ve had since I’ve been here in El Paso. I highly recommend this place; it’s one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town.

Wow! Just good old phở! This place has all the basic things that you would find at a phở restaurant including bubble shakes! The service was great and my phở was perfect! I enjoyed the service as well! It’s great when you have good service and good food check them out! Good prices as well!

Boba tea is something I have been driving across town to get. I have drove across town from west to east and north to south. Taste experiences varies from«boba tea» that taste like straight skim milk, savory to overly sweet. This place have mastered the perfect blend. I get so happy when I see that young guy at the front, he is the key to all the perfect blend of boba tea. The results are always great and always identical. It would have been great if they open on Sunday too but I understand everyone need a break. This is where I come get my outstanding boba tea.

The food is really good here, what prevents a 5 star rating is the small staff and small location. If you go during peak time you may not get a seat and of course your food will take a while. But it is worth the wait. My curry and rice was soooo delicious. Man o man I have been looking for some good curry. Nice little hole in the wall restaurant.

Food is good if I just rated the food it would be a solid four stars, but the place is normally dirty because they are understaffed. The tables are normally covered with left over food because they dont have enough people to cook, take orders, make the drinks, and serve. Normally one person is doing everything but thr cooking. Food can take a loooong time to arrive and no one will check on you to see how the meal is.
