Imelda is the best ever! She cuts all my families hair and we are always happy with her service.

I’ve gone and got my haircut here a few times. The first couple of times I have always had my hair cut by someone on the left side. It’s been ok, nothing great but nothing horrendous. I read the reviews and people have mentioned getting a hot towel and sometimes a massage, I’ve never been offered either. This most recent time I got my haircut by the lady in the back right corner. Halfway through she stops and asks me if I speak Spanish. At this point I’m guessing she isn’t sure what I asked for so I ask her to flip me around to the mirror. Completely wrong, so stopped here there and said we were done. Got up and signed my receipt with no tip… I was not happy. Today I checked my credit card bill to see that she chose to give herself a 6 tip. I will never return here again and I will also be reporting them to my credit card company. BEWARE!

The rest can cut bad hair. So if you have good hair, good. If you have bad hair, still might be good.

I have been getting my hair cut here for over a year now, and I keep coming back for the quality, price, amenities, and friendliness of all who are employed here. The haircuts are reliable and done with an expertise that is unmatched else where in El Paso, Texas. The experience is similar to what I had in Korea and just outside the main gate of Fort Drum, New York(that barbershop is also named Suki’s, coincidence?). The closeness of «skin» is achieved with a triple bladed electric beard trimmer, and the hot towel wrap is perfect once applied to your freshly made nude scalp! The wonderful mix of people who work here remember you(and your B.S.) the next time you come in. It really gives a more comfortable relaxing feeling to all who frequent this barbershop regularly. The place does get rather crowded in most weekends, my advice is to come during the week or early on the weekends for the best cuts!

Seems like it would be a simple haircut, but if done improperly, the military haircut can have you head looking like its fresh back from a war with Edward Scissorhands. The success of a barbershop lies in the hands of its hair artisans, and not in the reputation alone, and luckily for Suki she’s managed to find a perfect pairing. This shop is just down the way from WBAMC, and is keen to servicing the service members on a regular basis. They’re also open on weekends(Sunday too), in case you find yourself bogged down in the trenches during the work week. This is where the Commander of my castle chooses to use his free-pass on letting another woman touch him, and he always comes home looking dapper.
