Moshibox serves up the best sushi I’ve ever had off of a food-truck. It also serves the only sushi I’ve ever had off a food-truck. As you can imagine, there was a bit of apprehension to eat sushi from a food-truck. Is it going to be gas station quality? Thankfully no, it’s of average restaurant quality. Since we were at one of the events put on by The Food Truck Revolution(check out their Facebook page to find out when there next event is) and we were hitting up as many trucks as possible and trying as many things as we could, I thought it would be best to go with the Bento Box. A variety of eats. The Bento Box came with a roll(of your choice), gyoza, and cucumber salad. They had about six different sushi options, but I kept it simple and went with the Philly roll. They were the perfect bite sized pieces and it actually came with 10 pieces. Upping their game! The roll was yum and our foodie tribe loved ‘em. It came with three gyoza which were all good even though they had gotten a little cold by the time we were finally able to finally find a table. I was the only one that ate the cucumber salad and I thought it was a good finish to my meal(even though I probably should’ve eaten in first) and a great way to segue into the other foods we were about to eat. I was very impressed with what we got off this food-truck. The price was reasonable and the sushi was made to order. We were lucky enough to get there after the lines had died down a bit so it was only about a 5 minute wait for our food. All around good truck!

If you’re looking for good sushi in an extremely casual setting, you want to find the Moshi Box food truck! Luckily they’re not hard to find, just check on facebook to see where they’ll be, I found them at an Eastside Food Truck Revolution stop. I was impressed by their menu, they have a big selection of rolls, more than I expected from a food truck. They have all the classics, like California and Philadelphia rolls, as well as more creative rolls like the Pink Floyd, all freshly made on the spot. Now I should warn you that I’m not an adventurous sushi eater, my review is based on how much I liked the basic rolls. I had the aforementioned California and Philadelphia rolls, and my simple and unrefined taste buds found them yummy. Also they were really nice about reassuring me that the rolls I was getting did not contain any traces of disgusting mayo(wake up people, that stuff is so gross!)
