I ordered pepper steak for takeout and there was a million peppers and onions and hardly any steak. I gave it another chance and ordered curry chicken with onions for takeout and again a million onions and like four pieces chicken. The flavors were good just a little disappointing to not have the main ingredient in the dish.

There are two Chinese food places that deliver to my home. This is not one of them but it’s worth the drive. They have never let us down. The food is consistently delicious and tastes fresh out of the kitchen. They are generous with portions and price is very reasonable. We have decided we never need to try another Chinese place.

UBER busy, avoid 11 – 12:30 weekday rush with the high school students(very loud)!Food made fresh, not too long of a wait, and tastes pretty good. One of the BETTER Chinese food places I’ve been to in El Paso. Cashiers were a bit off, very busy talking about sex life(really, why???) versus quickly attending to customers, which is why I gave 3 stars versus 4. I truly believe customer service goes a long way, and if your front staff is clueless, than that’s a good opportunity to lose a customer. Food wise, pleased with what I ordered.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant I hold all oriental food to the China wok standard. The boneless ribs with the noodles is my favorite.

I like Chinese food, have liked it since i was a kid back in Juarez. I like restaurants more so than Buffets because of the fact food just tastes better. I’ve eaten at a couple of restaurants across El Paso and it just doesn’t feel the same, and honestly sometimes i just want something i can take home. China Wok covers all of these problems. The service is great every time i’ve been there, Jessica the girl at the counter(who i’ve always had luck getting when i go) is always smiling and full of small talk for when i wait for my meals. The place seems like your average chinese spot in a strip mall but as soon as the flavorful aromas of the kitchen hit you, you know you have made the right choice in coming here. Their lunch special is by far the highlight of the restaurant. Huge servings at a reasonable price is something everyone looks for in a lunch place, but the way China Wok makes it work is that the food is more than just good its great. We often settle for second best food if it means they give us more, bur here they don’t sacrifice flavor in their large quantities. I am sure to visit this location over and over again, and maybe even try out some of the stuff i have never tried at other restaurants here, since i feel comfortable enough knowing that everything i have tried from here has been amazing.

Best in El Paso! I’d like to take a star away because of the bad service, but believe it or not bad service is a staple of great Chinese food!

This place was easily the best Chinese food in el paso… about a year ago. I recently came back to town and decided to stop by for a bite. The quality has easily gone down the drain. The sesame chicken i ordered was hard and chewy. My girlfriend had gotten the Mongolian beef, or more like Mongolian onion. Literally maybe 10 strips of meat and the rest onion. Not only that but the meat was slimy and no other ingredients suck as mushroom or string beans. Never going to try again, which makes it disappointing since this was out to go place for Chinese food cravings.

Best Chinese food in El paso by far NYC style. The best thing on the menu is the Sesame Chicken with the pork fried rice that sh** is amazing =) also their Beef Lomein Noodles are really good, and to start off with i would go with there pork or cheese wantons or their pork dumplings really good stuff. So if your in El paso Go Check Out China Wok you won’t be disappointed also there prices are pretty affordable and the portions are huge, awesome place.

I usually love their food but I recently got a take out order and the quality just wasn’t as good, I’ll still visit but only to dine in.

It did fine in a pinch, but filling the void in my gut was primeval. I could have done that with a microwave burrito. It wasn’t even quick like most hole in the wall joints that serve basic food. The staff barely acknowledged me. It was as if they all were mad I showed up and wanted me out of the way.

Pretty good, I would go for the Buffett over ordering to go. You’ll get more bang for your buck, it is a bit dirty on the inside though.

Okay I’ve eaten at soooo many Chinese food places in El Paso this is the only one that I will go to and when people visit and want Chinese this is where we go and they are never disappointed. But I do always stick with either the seaseme chicken, house special mei fun and the chicken and broccoli with no other vegetables in it. Smells really greasy inside at times, service is pretty good and normally I call in my order so I can just grab and go. Big portions and yummy food can’t go wrong.

Where to begin I’ve been going there for years it’s always great, the service is fast maybe not always friendly but it’s a takeout restaurant so no biggie there, they always have attractive ladies manning the front desk, the cooks are actually Chinese, ect. This is a place that has their shit together. My only complaint is that recently they changed the type of lo mein they serve. I miss the old stuff which was super yummy but this new stuff is acceptable, still far better than anything else you can find in town. Overall 8⁄10 would eat again.

I’ve been coming here for like 10 years, and it’s never let me down. The portions are huge and everything’s very reasonably priced. It’s probably the best Chinese food you’re going to find in El Paso. The sesame tofu and fried dumplings are a couple of my favorites. Check it out!

How could chinese fried rice be yellow? Shrimp broccoli was greasy and salty Chow mein with shrimp smells like spoiled seafood. Not recommended.

For chinese food in El Paso, Texas… it wasn’t bad. Little heavy on the nuts(cashew chicken) but one can’t be picky in this town. I probably won’t be back to ELP for a long time but would go back to this place if I did.

I have been here many times since my last review and I have to say the place has not lowered their standards. I do want to make sure to suggest to fellow Unilocalers that they experiment with the food on this menu! Sure, the typical sesame, orange or sweet and sour chickens may sound nice, but China Wok has a large menu and it is worth exploring. Do yourself a favour and adventure with any of the other dishes here and I am sure you will find yourself opening up to new flavours. Also worth adding is that the take away orders are always made in 10 – 15 minutes(they will give you the estimate on the phone) and I never have to wait no matter how busy the place looks. The efficiency is a pleasant change of pace!
