I couldn’t remember why I didn’t like this place… the pictures look good and the reviews are great! Then I called to place an order for pick up. I got a busy signal the first several calls. When I finally got through I was placed on hold, that’s ok! And it’s probably why the signal was busy. They do good business!!! 6 minutes later I hang up. I call Ardovino’s and I’ve placed my order within 30 seconds. The pizza may be a lot more expensive, but the customer service is great — they answer the phone! Good pizza, horrid customer service. Please hire more staff!

Great pizza at great prices! I have ordered take out from here twice and both times the pizza has been delicious! The gentlemen at counter were friendly and professional! My spot for pizza from now on! Btw, they have a large cheese or pepperoni pizza at $ 6.99 for take out! Can’t beat that!

First time I ordered and it was amazing, many options for toppings, and at an excellent price. Even with no coupons it cost less than the major chains would have with coupons. I will defiantly be going here again and again!

Super good pizza and great staff! My favorite is the Texas(?) that has chorizo. The staff is so nice. My husband called to order a pizza for me while he was at work when I was at home in bed rest during my pregnancy. They made an exception and delivered a pizza to me! That is real customer service. Thank you.

Best place ever for pizza. Everyone is friendly and know you by name. Try the San Antonio pizza. It’s awesome!

This is by far the best pizza place in this area. Large pizzas full of toppings and relatively cheap. Last time I ordered from here for pick up, they gave me a free pizza that they had made by mistake. No questions asked… Free. Only little gripe I have is i wish they would cook the pizzas a little longer. It’s not that bad, but sometimes the veggies seem a bit raw. Top notch crust though. Delicious!

$ 6.991 topping pizza. And it’s delicious! Not ideal for sit-downs as it is a small venue but for take out, can’t beat it!

I am a very supportive person… specially when it comes to local small businesses. But, when you call to order a pizza get put on hold three different times and they forget you are on the line, that kinda sucks right? It was my first experience with this establishment and well it kinda went south quickly. I cant review the pizza cause i couldnt even get an order one… oh and the person who answered was rude snd with an attitude… i live close by and if the pizza is good, they would have had a loyal customer for a long, long time. Oh well…

All I gotta say is… D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. D– is for the dough! The dough used here is perfect in my opinion. Not greasy, not crunchy, nor soggy, but just right. Cooked to perfection! E– is for the excitement I got when I finally had a pizza slice in my hand. God knows I was starving. My boyfriend and I work up the street from GAP, so he decided to pick it up instead of having it delivered. I was surprised to know it’d be ready in 20 min! –and it definitely was. L– is for the love of cheese I have in my itty bitty heart. This bad boy was covered with plenty of it. I– is for the instant gratification I got when I saw that GAP did not skimp out on the toppings for my Montana pizza. So many jalapenos, pepperonis, and was that chopped white onion I saw? C– is for the cardio I will have to do to make up for those three saucey slices I had. I– is for I will definitely order from this place again. Not only was it good but the price… the PRICE was excellent!– eleven dollars for one large pizza with more than one topping – c’mon guys. O– is for«oh, what a great new find!» U– is for how underrated this place is. It’s a little gold nugget! S– is for how silly this review is, but you know you wanna get some Great American Pizza now ;) Definitely try it out. Try all the flavors«in the world, Craig!» I know I will.

I love when I get a pizza and they don’t have to order extra cheese they put plenty on there. Their sauces nice and tangy they don’t put too much of it on their crust is decent that’s a really good pizza

Yesterday I was feeling ill and called to ask if they would deliver to my home address. I was told I was outside the normal radius and I would have to pick up my order. I explained how I was feeling sick and offered to pay a little extra for the delivery fee and sure enough the owner said he would do it this one time! I am so grateful. The pizza was delicious. We ordered a veggie one and the Texas pizza which has chorizo, ham, jalapeños and if I recall correctly mushrooms!

Great Pizza, great service, timely delivery. I recommend the Chicken Chipotle Pizza. I’ve had several of their pizzas, none have been very greasy. Chicken wings are good and a good price!

Hands down, this used to be my fave delivery spot in EP. The pizza was great. You should know that pizza is my fave food. You should also know that I’m not from here, I’m a native midwesterner who just moved here about a year ago. So when I like a place, I have no problem getting loyal and nice. things got, shall we say, off, quality wise, a few months ago. Pizza started arriving lukewarm. Delivery times were upwards of one hour +. Mind you, I’m a plain cheese pizza, no sides kinda gal. Yeah. I know. But my fiancé works late and we share a car and some nights I dont feel like cooking. Its twice a month, if that, quit judging, its Unilocal,it exists for stuff like this, keep reading, anyways… so the last straw was when it took them an hour and a half to deliver! A cheese pizza! And when it got here it was cold! I had to put it back in the oven!!! I called, was ready to hear what was going on, and was told my next order(predictably a cheese pizza) would be on the house. So I call today, which is two weeks later, and they say they have no record of that occuring… ahem, we all know they only have 4 ppl working there… and that they can give me a free soda??? I spoke to the owner and he angrily agreed, but then never delivered it!!! Wth!!! So im sitting here, feeling like I just talked to an agry 14 year old. Wow.

Lately I’ve been doing a whole lot of eating out at trendy spots in the area that serve tapas and gourmet burgers and perfectly seasoned fries and ahi poke and crème brûlée. So sometimes I just need a greasy, cheesy pepperoni pizza that I won’t pay more than 10 bucks for. And if I fall in their delivery radius, even better. ***NEWDRINKINGGAME: Take a shot every time you see ‘and’*** I haven’t dined-in, but once in a blue moon I’m up for making the trek to Great American Pizza and I pick it up myself(it saves me all of $ 3 + tips, is it worth it? I don’t know) so I can tell you what to expect if that’s your plan. GAP is quiet, no music, but they do have the tv on(usually very quiet or silent). I like the idea of this, you really can enjoy the company you’re with without all the distractions. The place is clean and in a newer strip mall(strip mall minus the shopping, unfortunately for me). I’ve tried a different pizza every time we’ve ordered, but didn’t realize until two or three weeks ago they offer different types of crust: Thin, pan, hand-tossed and probably two or three more kinds that I’m forgetting. The hand-tossed(which appears to be their original crust… or at least their go-to when you don’t specify which you want) is good, but the pan crust is the BEST! I would say the pan is comparable to Pizza Hut pan in flavor(all buttery goodness) minus the ridiculous amount of grease that feels like it’s seeping into your pores as you chow down. GAP does not skimp on the cheese or the toppings so prepare yourself for a completely loaded pie. Sure, the simple pizzas are good, but divulge your inner child and order a crazy concoction that was either thought up by the guys behind GAP or the six-year-old you(and if they don’t have the ingredients you want on your crazy pizza, you can totally bring in whatever you want to GPA to be added). One of my faves [so far] has been the Texas something or other… topped with pepperoni, mushrooms and most importantly CHORIZO!!! The chorizo is placed on it how any other meat would be, so think spoty. I’m seriously debating ordering a straight chorizo pizza. I was looking at their Facebook and did notice they had a Mango Shrimp Pizza back in October. Fingers crossed this is still an option now, ’cause that sounds fricken goooooooooood. GPA is a pizza place, so what’s a pizza place without wings and things? I have yet to try anything other than the pizza, but I’ll make my way to the dark side of this pizza joint. The Strombolis look mouthwatering good.

I was initially skeptical of this place when it first opened as they were emphasizing their low prices on all the ads I saw of theirs, so I assumed their pizza couldn’t be that good. That was an error on my part. Decided to go there today as I wasn’t feeling any of my usual places(and because I took a different route home than usual), and wish I had gone sooner. I was quite impressed, and will certainly be back. I ordered to carry out, so I can’t speak to the service you would get if you were to eat inside, but I was very pleased with the pizza. I ordered the San Antonio(essentially a meat lover’s pizza – pepperoni, ham, sausage, beef, bacon, extra cheese) for $ 9.99 and it was definitely worth it. Opting for the garlic crust(at no additional cost) was another wise choice, as I then essentially had a tasty garlic breadstick to eat after each slice of pizza. The pizza itself was worthy as well, plenty of cheese and didn’t skimp on the toppings. While this isn’t the greatest pizza ever, it is still very good, and it is set to become one of my go-to pizza places here in El Paso(doubly so due to how close it is to home). Great taste at great prices. Just goes to show that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover(or in this case, a pizza by its marketing). Well done, Great American Pizza! Edit: Went back again, and the pizza was just as good as previously described. This time, however, I additionally ordered the cheese sticks, and I absolutely LOVED them. They reminded me of the cheese bread I loved from Marco’s Pizza, a chain I frequented back when I lived in Ohio.
