I read all positive review about the gym and at first I was amazed at how nice the staff was however, I have come to realize that there’s always a catch. Initially I was told that when I signed up I would be charged on the 1st of each month yet I came to find out that instead I was being billed for the 28th of each month(a notice would have been appreciated of the change that was done). Also, due to the nature of my job I had to leave the country within 3 days and told the receptionist about my situation(I had joined during September). She was pleasant to help with the paper work but when I had asked if I could be prorated because of my situation I was told she would need to ask her manager the following day and would give me call. Needless to say I had to end up calling to get a status on the situation and was told that I would not be prorated and the annual facility would be charged as well. Just as a side note, it would have been pleasant had they actually used the facility fees for equipment because every time I went at least 3 machines were either out of order or having malfunctions. The reasoning behind such was because I was not charged the 30 day cancellation fee. I had asked if there was any way they could work with me and was denied even such. Never was I referred to the manager to speak with nor was I given additional information. I read and understood and policies and guidelines upon signing up however, customer service is not their forte to say the least. I understand this is a company but, treating customers as such isn’t great. I am not saying this will happen to everyone yet it’s better to be safe rather than sorry like myself. Also, be careful with some staff because on some days that I would go I was always given a glare by some of the counter girls. I understand I do not look like the general population but at the same time that’s the last thing I need to deal with.

Super clean and very friendly ladies let me use a guest pass while I was vising my family over the holidays. There wasn’t a lot of free weight/bar options, but there were a lot of great machine alternatives. Great Spin facility and variety of classes

I recently relocated back to El Paso after being away for 12 years. I drove by Her Gym and decided to browse over the website as soon as I got home. I am sure glad I did. I decided to go bright and early the next morning and was pleasantly greeted by the woman at the front desk. She very happily provided a tour of the facility and explained the hours, classes, membership types etc. Her Gym offers many fitness classes such as RPM and a Yoga one(I forgot the exact name of the class). I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a women’s only gym! :)

Love this gym, mainly because it is the ONLY gym in El Paso that offers my beloved Les Mills classes. There is nothing like them and I could never give them up! Pricing is typical, $ 42/month for all access. I take about 20 classes/month, so it is a really great deal. You can also do a combo membership with Planet Fitness next door, ask at the desk for details because rules are always changing. Her Gym has truly dedicated instructors, with high energy and workouts that keep you coming back for more. As the name might imply it is only for women, which is nice because there are nothing but focused women there to workout, not to be seen. Highly recommend this place if you are in the market for a membership.
