The stuffs are good but the owner is not that good. The owner charged extra dollars because I got some bones cut. He said that his saw is damaged when it cuts hard bones. I have come to this place many times; never felt that the owner is willing to provide any service. The stuffs were really helpful and wanted to give me the service.

This is a nice little restaurant with a grocery store attached to it. The food is plentiful, fresh and good. We had the combo meat and lamb shih kabob plates that come with salad and hummus. The meat was flavorful, the rice well cooked, the hummus delicious and the salad had a tangy dressing that was unique. Overall it was a good meal and we plan to come back for more. The attached grocery store had middle eastern groceries. We liked it. It was clean and well organized.

We stopped by Jerusalem Grill after two other Mediterranean Restaurants were closed on Mesa. When we arrived and parked we were greeted at the door by an angry looking owner smoking a cigarette. The restaurant was empty and filled with flies. I ordered the three meat combo(Beef, Lamb, & Gyro) and my colleague ordered the Chicken Curry. Overall, we agreed the food was pretty bland and the service was somewhat poor.

Excellent Persian, Mediterranean, and Greek food!!! So happy to have a great foodie experience after 5 days in El Paso! Fantastic service, awesome atmosphere, and delicious food. We had the sampler for appetizers just to see how Jerusalem does things. I have to say, having had a ton of hummus from a ton of sources, Jerusalem’s hummus is some of the best I’ve ever had. Lighter flavor a than most and very smooth. We had chicken kabob and chicken swawarma, both delicious and fresh! Added their nice Persian tea(put the sugar cube on your tongue and then sip the tea). It’s amazing! It could even be a desert. But for dessert we had the mamoul pastry, one pistachio and one date… Out of this world!!! They’re small but are perfect to end the meal on a high point. Overall, with food and service, an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

The experience was nothing special. The server took forever for everything. The pomegranate drink didn’t taste at all like pomegranate, at all. The rice was undercooked, hummus was plastic and plain and the salad was nothing to write home about. Never coming here again.

Was in the mood for falafel and a Greek salad. Did my usual Unilocal search and this was one on the list. I’m so glad I tried it — the food and service was excellent. I will definitely return when I’m back in El Paso for work.

Awesome chicken kabob salad. Fresh ingredients, perfect amount of dressing, and juicy grilled chicken. Service was timely for our party of 10 at lunch. Will definitely be back!!!

This is a delayed review but I could still remember the taste of that warm pita bread and that greenish colored dip!!!(My mouth is watering) We must have requested a hand full of refills and I didn’t care that we had to pay extra for the bread and the dip. We ordered kibbeh as appetizer– it was okay; I had the lentil soup which was amazing, very flavorful; hubby ordered the shawarma plate– fresh, tasty, hot, very good food; Their cardamom tea! Let’s just say she probably got pissed at how many times she had to refill it. Wrapped up the meal with a pistachio baklava and more tea!!! We will deff be back!

First of all. I don’t know why Unilocal says it’s not opened on Sundays. I just had lunch there on a Sunday. This place is great. I had the lamb shawerma and the meat was flavorful, tender and grilled just right. My partner had the lentil soup which was also very flavorful and huge. We tried also an appetizer combo that had good hummus and amazing falafel. It was perfectly crisp on the outside yet surprisingly moist and delicious in the inside. The only reasons I didn’t give this place five stars were minimal. Basically my side salad and the baba ganush were just OK. Overall a solid restaurant with a lot of good options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. I will definitely be coming back.

I can’t believe I live around the corner and I barely tried it! Shame on me! Mediterranean food has a special place in my heart and when restaurants don’t live up to those expectations it’s a disappointment. I tried the shish kabab plate with hummus and Greek salad. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The salad had beautiful colors and a delicious dressing to top it off. The hummus was creamy and full of goodness. I asked for garlic paste but they were out, booo! This Mediterranean restaurant is small and intimate it reminds me so much of back home! If you’re looking for a lunch date this would be the perfect place. It’s not noisy, the décor is beautiful, and the food is great!

Ew I would NEVER suggest anyone to eat here. They take uneaten rice and plate it for other people to eat. They use the same racks they wash dishes in to store RAW chicken. I am suprised no one has gotten sick from eating at this place. Seriously people it’s nasty in that kitchen.

You have to love it when the waiter/waitresses can really give an in depth insight of the menu. She sold me on the Shish Kabab with the Hommus and Greek salad. I added a kebbeh in for good measure. She was spot on with the lamb. It was truly the star of the dish. Good rice and salad. I would return for the hommus alone and I’m a bit b of a hommus snob. It’s definitely worth a return trip.

Perfect perfect perfect. The kabob, hummus, salad, soup, everything is always perfect. Love the family who owns the place – such amazing and wonderful people :)

Honestly, the food was great. I had baba ghanoush with hot pita and lentil soup. It was very satisfying after a long day of travelling to El Paso from Austin, and several headaches along the way. The candy at the end was also really good. However, minus one star for management not anticipating the number of needed servers. This poor lady was stuck waiting on the whole restaurant, so the service was lackluster(not her fault, she did the best she could). But management should have anticipated because one party of 7 even made reservations. Maybe someone from the market next door could have come over to help out. Overall, I was pleased with Jerusalem Grill. It met my needs: had wifi, had the usual Mediterranean vegan options, took credit cards, and was open on a Monday night. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in El Paso again.

When we walked in here early on a Saturday night, the fact that there were no other people seated was a red flag. But we went through with the process anyway, ordering our meals, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients. I normally don’t do this, but I ordered a mixed appetiser plate for the table, and we all actually liked everything on offer, which is a first!(Usually there’s a clear hierarchy in the selection). As for the main meal, I enjoyed the chicken shawerma. The meat had obviously been marinated well, and it was tender and delicious. As a side note, there is a great middle eastern food market attached to this restaurant. You can walk through a door from the dining room into the market, but it’s entirely separate. A nice place to browse and maybe pick up some unusual hard-to-find ingredients for your kitchen. While we were eating more and more groups of people showed up, and it was quite lively by the time we left, so I guess we were just early. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience, with nice, attentive service, and a good atmosphere, and quite delicious food.

The food was delicious the menu is kind of limited. Don’t expect seafood or cheese on anything. The flavors are spectacular though and the atmosphere relaxed. The gyros are savoury and the store next door sells a wide variety if international foods

The staff is 5 star! They are friendly and helpful. The environment is small but very welcoming. The flavor of the food is 5 star. The meats are perfectly seasoned and the rice is the ideal texture and flavor. The pita is light and plentiful, which is nice. The ingredients are fresh and the attached market allows you to see where the ingredients are coming from. The place is clean and we will likely return. The salad was bland and the dressing lacked flavor :(The portion sizes are smaller than we are accustomed to in a Mediterranean restaurant. This was disappointing. The market has an amazing selection of items and is a great resource for spices and teas. There are also a variety of items you can’t get anywhere else. The market is definitely 5 stars! We will likely return for lunch one day. The Unilocal map link is incorrect as to this businesses location. The address is correct but the map displays it far from it’s actual location. Don’t know why that would happen. Crazy internet.

My girlfriend purchased a Groupon for this place, so we had to try it out. The décor is very nice. The restaurant is clean, with plenty of tables. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It’s also attached to a market, which is handy if you want to shop after dinner. We decided to order the Gyros Meal($ 13.99) which contained beef/lamb meat, rice, Greek salad, and tzatsiki. The meat was very tasty, and seasoned well. My only thought is for the price, there could have been a little more. There was an ample amount of salad, but could have used just a little more dressing. The rice was good and there was plenty. It seemed to be missing something which turned out to be teh lack of pita. I’m not sure if pita is no longer included, but it would have been nice to have a little to go with the tasty meat. The Chicken Curry($ 12.99) was a really good deal. White meat chicken, potato, tender bell peppers, with tomato, garlic and ginger was amazing. It also came with rice which worked really well with the flavorful curry. I think this was the best deal out of the two as we brought enough home to make another meal out of it. They were out of Baklava, so we tried the Namura($ 2.50) per the waitress’ suggestion. It was made up of Semolina flour dough, mixed with coconut and clarified butter with syrup. It was, rich and buttery with just the right amount of sweetness to end a meal. I would recommend this place to try for anyone that enjoys Mediterranean food. I’ll be back to try the sandwiches soon.

I only have songs of praises for Jerusalem Grill — the service was great and the food excellent !!- DEEEEELICIOUS! — I ordered the lamb platter — succulent sliced lamb on a bed of basmati rice, creamy hummus with fresh hot pita bread, salad with lettuce, tomato and cucumber mixed with lemon and olive oil and to top everything off, a very nice Turkish coffee
