Decent food, very reasonably priced. It’s not going to be a culinary masterpiece, but well worth a quick decent meal.

Food is good, but I wasn’t blown away by it, but it was very cheap. $ 7.50 for the special. The service is what blew me away. They were so nice and so helpful. Would eat here again. Interestingly located inside a bank.

So hospitable! We stopped in around 2:45 pm not realizing they were closing at 3:00 pm. They made us feel welcome and not rushed! I tried the special for the day, beef steak tacos, with rice and beans; and tortilla soup. Tortilla soup! It’s one of their specialties! It’s a flavorful broth with in house made tortilla strips and avocado! You’ll want to try this! We felt like they invited us into their home.

Food was great for the price. Small place but could have used more wait staff. It was all worth the wait and definitely worth the modest price.

There is always a line — that must mean that the food is great. And it is. Get the special of the day with tortilla soup. Make sure you come before noon rush hour. Traditional El Paso feel in the first floor of the Chase Building. Independent, owner operated. Love this place!

I really liked this place. My favorite spot in El Paso during the 4 days we visited. Thanks to Unilocal we decided to walk there from our hotel to grab some late breakfast/early lunch. Lucky we did because the place was packed about 15 minutes after we arrived. We ordered a big bowl of Tortilla Soup, Beef Burrito, Cheese Quesadilla, a side of Guacamole and 2 cokes. The total bill was $ 17! Coming from California, that is pretty amazing! The food was cheap, but it was GOOOODDDDD! The staff was nice, but they could have used another waitress. I would definitely go there again if I ever make it out to El Paso in the future.

I needed an alternative to the overpriced and not very good breakfast at the hotel I was staying at while in El Paso on business(Camino Real), and found this place on Unilocal. It was just as the previous reviewer said, unpretentious, cheap,(very cheap) good food. I even bought an extra breakfast burrito to eat on the plane.

This is a small restaurant on the first floor of the Chase bank building. The food is ridiculously cheap, even for El Paso. The salsa is hard to describe, very unique, and highly addictive. Both breakfast and lunch are great here. Not health food — at all. The family that runs the restaurant is very, very nice.
