Read reviews and walked a mile to arrive here to see that it’s closed even though timing says it’s open. What a bummer

Good, simple Mexican breakfast. Had the Sunshine Quesadilla which has all the right stuff. A little more spice or salt would have made it perfect, but I guess that’s why they give you the packet of salt. Also tried the breakfas buritto with brisket meat(Machaca?). It was good too but agan lacked on seasoning. I would probably go back for the homemade baked items or lunch. Pass on breakfast.

I’m always looking for good burritos and smoothies. This place does well with both. Definitely recommend.

I have been going to Pampas for as long as I can remember. There is something about what they make that is just so deliciously awesome. If you’re around the airport, you should probably swing by for some local flare. Pampas has Mexican fast(and fresh) food down to a science. A delicious science. My favorite torta is the Texana. The bread is always so soft and fresh. The meat is tender and the generous portion makes this my go-to order for the past 5 years or so. Their liquados are to die for. They’re a little it pricey, but it is fresh fruit you are getting in them which is the reason for the price. Their aguas frescas are just as amazing. Pampas excels at breakfast and they close early. Recently I went and their hours were from 7AM to 4PM. It is the owner and his cook that are there every day they are open. It makes it a little more meaningful when they remember who you are. They recently moved to a location that isn’t easily visible. It is a nicer location having indoor seating. Just look for the green sign.

Stopped here for a breakfast burrito on the way to the airport at the suggestion of a coworker. Was a little skeptical as first, but it was fantastic! Glad I checked this place out instead of hitting up the Starbucks at ELP like I usually do. The owner was also so friendly and came out to introduce himself and let us know that they will be moving to a larger location soon. Good for them! :)

On my quest to find a delicious torta, I came across Pampas one faithful day. Now this place is called Pampas ASAP, I guess, but I always remembered it as Burritos Pampas. If you’re flying into El Paso, may I suggest you rush over to this place immediately. Go get your bags later. My favorite torta was one that had steak strips, asadero and ham. The name evades me, though. I know its not the Texana because that one has green chilies. They are always lovely enough to hold the avocado without gasping at the fact that I don’t touch the stuff. Their licuados are super tasty as well. They can be made with either milk or juice and are thick enough to work out your cheek muscles and make your eyes bulge out. Yes, I’m kidding. Jamba juice has nothing on these. I have two sort of gripes, though. 1. They close at 2:00PM. I hope this has changed, but when I worked around here, they opened 6 am– 2 pm. Suck. If you’re out there at 4 or 5 and were craving Pampas, you’re SOL. 2. The place is tiny. You can either go through the drive through or eat at one of their few outdoor tables. There is no indoor dining area. Plus if you go at a busy time, you’re at the drive through for half your lunch break. Still, definitely worth it!

This is a great place to stop at on the way home from the airport. The Lime Aid hit the spot and the horchata was pretty good.
