The Promenade Ice Pond

Really terrible customer service, after only 3 minutes that we have gotten the skates our grandson could not handle it we ask for a different skates size so that someone else could use the ticket the manager totally refused to help us.

I would go here over the coliseum any day. Ice was really good, good rental skates, and you can come and go all day with a wrist band. Right next to Kona Grill, Chuy’s, and that pizza I can’t spell.

Great opportunity to do something new while at The Fountains. :) they’re open for this year (2015) from 10am –8 pm I believe. They are also open on holidays and black friday.
It’s pretty small, but a good size for kids or dates or even with your bestie. Haha. They do offer military discount, so overall it’s about $ 10. You get to come and go as you please as long as you have the band on your wrist.
The skate rentals are located within the building in front of the entrance of the ice rink. People kept wondering where it was. They do not have lockers. They can hold your stuff but are NOT responsible for your belongings. The ice rink needed to be cleaned with all the ice shavings, it was a bit hard for me to skate with it. They spray your skates upon return which is good to know. They’re open until Jan. 4. Enjoy and happy holidays Unilocalers!

My family of four arrived to ice skate about 7:30. We entered the little office where they were renting ice skates for Adults-​$ 12.00 and Children-​$ 8.00. I sent back two pairs of skates because they were wet. I was informed it was due to the disinfecting spray the staff applies after every use. Despite the returns the staff member was courteous and friendly. They have a little concession table where they sell you hot chocolate. We ventured out unto the ice and despite the cold weather our little ones had fun! There were two staff members on the ice with referee shirts helping people get up and sweeping the ice. Overall my family had a great time.
