Huge menu, good food and a cozy place to dine. I had the pizza and it was delicious For the portions you get its very well priced. Really enjoyed dining here.

What a great restaurant! Amazing service from our waiter from start to finish. What was particularly impressive to me(other than great service) was the overall high quality food at a ridiculously reasonable price. Seriously, despite quite a few bottles of wine, appetizers/meals everyone remarked at how inexpensive it all was. The everyone in question being myself, and my five favorite peeps in El Paso. We were celebrating my bday(…32nd…not that anyone’s counting) at Trattoria and across the board we were all very impressed with our visit. We all got a variety of dishes(my friend loved his surf and turf), I got a mussel pasta in white wine sauce(simple but very tasty and filling). We ordered the calamari as an appetizer which came out fast and hot(giggity) and we promptly devoured it. The marinara was a little salty(minor complaint) but the calamari breading was very crunchy, very tasty. The complimentary rolls that came out were nice and fresh with a nice olive oil(with garlic cloves for flavor) for dipping(one of my friends… ahem Scott ended up spilling it all over the place and the waiter was quick to clean up!). The soups and house salads were also very fresh. The lobster bisque and tomato soup were sampled by the group and everyone really liked those as well. Trattoria is a small restaurant, but has a lot of personality. Pictures of hollywood movies(mostly italian, think Godfather) line the walls. I will note that due to hte size, parties bigger than 6 will likely feel a little cramped but that being said we had a blast. I really liked that the restaurant obliged us with photos throughout and the server brought out a complimentary bday tiramisu which was super thoughtful(and amazing btw). All in all, Trattoria lived up to the high praise I’ve read elsewhere on Unilocal and I will happily be back in the future!

Great dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Pasta, shrimp, meatballs in an Alfredo sauce very tasty. The lasagna is good and a nice portion is served. Waiter was excellent and courteous. This place will see me and my coworker several more times before we leave town.

When I saw 92 reviews and 4.5 stars I thought, this place must be doing something right and was exciting my a friend decided to have his birthday dinner here. When we pulled up we found kind of a hole in the wall Italian place with limited parking. I had to park on the street, but with everything else in the area apparently closed for the night that was easy. A chalkboard with the evening’s special was placed right by the front door(more on that in a moment). The interior is small, with nice décor and clean. There is definitely limited seating, but it wasn’t a problem on this Thursday night. It is a little cozy. While waiting for the rest of our party we were greeted, ordered a bottle of wine and appetizer. The wine came back surprisingly fast. We weren’t even prepared for it yet. Our server brought some fresh bed with olive oil. The rolls were warm, fluffy and light; delicious when dipped into the olive oil. We decided on calamari for the appetizer which was lightly breaded with a very crispy breadin grand served with a marinara sauce. It wasn’t the best calamari I’ve ever had, but it was tasty, very tender and a good portion for 3 – 4 people. When everyone arrived our order was taken promptly, our glasses were kept full and we were all very happy when the food started to come out. Salads were on the table in probably five minutes or less. The vinaigrette is served on the side so you can add as much as you want and is very good. One of the party ordered tomato basil soup which I tasted. It was creamy, just a little sweet and I could see myself going back on a cold day for an entire bowl. Everybody was very happy with their selections. I decided to go with the evening’s special. Surf & Turf: Two sirloin medallions served with a 6 oz lobster tail and asparagus. It came with a side salad and cup of lobster bisque. I’ve talked about the salad so I’ll move onto the soup. It was very creamy with a sweet side very similar to the tomato basil soup, but I think made with more cream and less tomato sauce. I was happy to find several large chunks of lobster meat; no imitation stuff here. It paired very well with the toasted bread it was served with. My main course was fantastic. The beef was cooked perfectly medium rare, the lobster was buttery and tender and the asparagus was both seasoned and cooked well. At the end I was very satisfied, but not overly full. Maybe the most impressive part is that they managed to prepare all of this with a total price that was less than $ 25. I normally wouldn’t order a meal like this, but if I did, I’d expect to easily pay $ 40+. My meal plus the bottle of wine I picked up brought my total to about $ 45. The price, the quality of the food, plus the fantastic service we received throughout the night earns 5-stars. I highly recommend this place. Great for a night out with friends or a date that won’t break the bank.

I love this place! Their rolls and garlic oil are amazing, salads crisp. I have had their seafood it was good and then I tried the chef special with steak and it was damn good. Their desserts are good as well. There is love put in this place so I appreciate that more than corporate owned places.

I ordered my food to go. Just Edible enough to eat. On too of that I paid $ 21 for my food and the portion was so small that I have to order room service at my hotel which I probably should have fine from the beginning… Never again

Wow this place is good. Ordered the chicken parmigiano with spaghetti and everything was so good and sauce was amazing. The rolls they give are also really good.

This was a great Italian restaurant with amazing and attentive service. I ordered the Famous Segovia’s special, with tender scallop, jumbo shrimps, clam and mussel in a white wine sauce over linguine pasta. I devoured the plate in 5 minutes — I would absolutely come back.

By far the best Italian food we’ve ever had. Everything had such amazing flavor and came out piping hot. Adam was our server this evening and he was top notch!!! Good food & amazing employees!

I ate at Trattoria Bella Sera for the first time last week. What is a great experience? Let me start off by saying, the service is fantastic. The waiter was friendly, helpful and very attentive to all the guests in the restaurant. When I asked him for recommendations he said«you can’t go wrong with any of the dishes because everything is great, orders just depend on what type of food you are craving.» What is a true statement. Everything my party ordered was spot on! I ordered the baked lasagna which seems to be a Unilocal favorite. The lasagna had a perfect ratio of ricotta, noodles, and sauce. I loved the baked cheese on top. My only complaint is I wish there was more because it was so delicious! The house salad and bread that accompanied the meal were also fantastic. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I cannot wait to go back! Next time I want to try the calazone!

Why is it always some of the best restaurants with the best food also feature a parking lot the size of my drive way? Anyone who has ever claimed that Olive Garden was some of the best quality Italian cuisine they’ve ever had needs to book an appointment with their family doctor immediately and have their taste buds and/or head examined. And then they need to come check out TBS, because this place is the real deal! I’m not even kidding here. This place nails it where it all counts(for the most part, but we’ll get into that later) from the quaint and humble decorum to the ostensibly authentic Italian cuisine. We started the evening off, as we often do, with the traditional Caesar salad. And I swear to God Caesar Cardini must have made this salad himself. Because it is, hands down, the best Caesar salad I have tasted since way back in the day when Great American Land & Cattle used to make theirs almost the same way(before ultimately and inexplicably raping their own recipe). For the main course tonight, I took a gamble by ordering the lobster ravioli… despite also having my eye on the Scampi alla Griglia(which I shall try upon my next visit). Now, I’ve also tried this very same dish at the ever-so-trendy Olive Garden. Dude! Theirs couldn’t hold a candle to the masterpiece I tasted tonight! TBS’s rendition of lobster ravioli makes Olive Garden’s taste like it was made by Chef Boyardee. The lobster filling was definitely legit! And it was clear these ravioli were made in house. What especially impressed me was the portion size. I’m not sure if my photo does it justice. But let’s just say I was neither under nor overwhelmed with this portion size. A lot of times, it’s real easy to walk away from a pasta dish feeling like an over-bloated fat ass. Let’s talk about the service for a minute. See, this is one of the reasons why I think Unilocal should update their website/app protocol and allow us to grant ‘half stars’ because this one’s a mixed bag for me. Whilst I would give the food here an 8 out of 10, I’d give the service a 6 out of 10. And then invariably I could give this place 4 and a half stars, rather than only 4. It wasn’t really… bad…per se. It just wasn’t as great as I’d imagine it could be in a place as elegant as this. The restaurant itself is pretty small. So serving tables, I imagine, wouldn’t be all that difficult. I dunno… maybe we got the mediocre waiter tonight. But this guy was like wallpaper; I couldn’t get a read on him. Seriously, he was drier than my glass of Cabernet. I mean, I can’t quite put my finger on it. But it was like every time he served us a plate of food or refilled a drink, he would sheepishly scurry on back to the kitchen as if he had an impending game of poker going on in the back. He never even once asked us how our food was. He also generally didn’t speak much either whenever he was bringing us our food. And coming from a guy who’s probably the world’s ultimate introvert that despises small talk, that’s saying something. Can we… like…get this guy some classes on how to have a personality? Because I would pay for that. Seriously, fellas… we should get on this. Anyway, overall… it was a great experience. I remember my wife having serious doubts about the place whenever we first pulled into their tiny parking lot that looked like it was made for a Matchbox commercial. Not to mention the rustic Italian decorum on the outside. But you know what they say about the humble looking restaurants(can’t really call it a hole-in-the-wall, as this is a stand alone building). As mentioned above, we will return to this place again one date night. I already have my next meal picked out and everything. Anecdotal nitpicking aside, overall: great restaurant! I highly recommend you take your dates here. Besides, it’s way cheaper than Olive Garden anyway.

I wish I lived in El Paso so that I could eat here several times a week. I wanted to try everything on the menu which was incredibly inexpensive. The entrees were all around $ 12-$ 15 and they had a lot of wines for $ 18/bottle. The owner recommended a bottle for $ 30 that would have cost at least $ 60 had the salmon with a spicy tomato sauce that had all kinds of seafood in it. My friend had the shrimp pasta which had the most delicious sauce I’ve probably ever had on perfectly cooked pasta. We started wit sautéed mushrooms in a cream sauce so good that we wiped the plate clean with our bread.

Great selection, everything tastes very fresh, and a pretty decent amount of vegetarian options. Staff seemed ok, they undercharged us for our meal, we tried to correct the mistake but no one would see us for 15 minutes. Once they did see us they just said ok then charged us the full amount. Not the worst service or even bad, just could have been better. Prices are a little high for what you get but maybe that’s just how it is for what they offer. Overall I would recommend to someone who was asking.

What a gem to stumble upon. This is old school Italian cooking — which means the food is GREAT. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere. My wife, who is a very fussy eater, loved this place. Everything was done to Perfection. The Veal Parmigiana was great. Wine at $ 5 a glass was excellent as well. Intimate.

I really enjoyed this place. I looooove seafood so naturally I was drawn to the seafood portion«Pesce/fish». I had the Famous Segovia’s special, which consist of scallop, jumbo shrimp, clams and mussels in a white wine sauce over linguini pasta. Scallops don’t have a lot of flavor naturally so that was okay, but the shrimp…(homer simpson drool arrghhgh) was so good. It was flavorful, tender, and juicy. The only bad part was the dish ended too soon. Service was good. Dessert was really good. I had the tiramisu, my wife had the chocolate cake(of course), and my mother in-law had the cheesecake. I had the pleasure of sampling it all and I was not disappointed. The tiramisu was really fluffy and not too sweet. The chocolate cake was creamy, thick, and had a hint of cherry flavor in it. You can’t really mess up cheesecake in my opinion, it’s either good, very good, and extremely good — their’s was good. ^_^ Solid 4 stars.

What an amazing place to eat! From every little bite to the service. I cannot say more! Oh, and great prices(I guess there was more to say! Lol!). My recommendation is the sausage. It is so fresh with an amazing taste! And do not forget to save room for desert! I tasted three and I cannot tell you which one was better! My server, Trevor, is actually the best waiter in El Paso. I think he needs an award! DONOTPASSUPTHISRESTAURANT!

I’ve tried this place twice so far and I enjoyed both times. I’ve had their gnocchi and some kinda cream pasta. Both of them were okay. Not really my kind of pasta. I really enjoyed their bruschetta. Also, they have great deserts too! Their panna cotta is really good. It has nice berry sauce on top of thick cream. So delish… The restaurant was clean and the service was great. Nice little cozy restaurant. It could get pretty busy on weekends so I would recommend you to make a reservation. They have a sign outside about their lunch special. I’m curious for that one too. Maybe I should go back there for lunch next time.
