How can I put into words how much I detest this Walgreens in particular? The wait times for both dropping off and picking up prescriptions is horrific; there has been times I have waited at least forty minutes. The staff seem to be confused or not have any knowledge of your prescription. They never call you if something comes up with your order, rather they wait until you show up to tell you that your prescription was never filled. They waste your time and are rude about it. There has also been a time where they gave me someone else’s prescription and they gave my prescription to someone else, talk about a liability issue! They do however take advantage because sometimes they are the only pharmacy that carry the medications that I need.

Waiting time is ridiculous! Waited over 40 minutes to drop off prescription last night. Only one person mending the desk. Decided just to take it to alternative nearby pharmacy this morning and which actually are less pricy than Walgreens. Walgreens is one of the most expensive pharmacies in the U.S. Your actually over paying for convenience. But convenience is not there then your just overpaying. Unless emergency I’m choosing to go else where from now on.

Everyone knows that Walgreens is convenient. What I like about this Walgreens is the friendly staff. I can’t comment about their pharmacy, as I do not get my meds here.

Perhaps one of the best points about Walgreens are their personnel. Specifically, cashier Stephanie, who is a bright, engaging, knowledgeable young woman obviously going well with her life. Also, Walgreens is a regular point of internship for many of my students to gain employment skills and a taste of the real-World worklife. It’s also a great thing when I can find good dark-chocolate at a bargain price. And possibly one of the greatest aspects of Walgreens(wherever I’ve traveled, especially when on a long-distance biketour!) is access to cashback on my VISA debit card. There are occasions where my plastic is not accepted, and it never hurts to have a small amount of greenbacks on hand for those moments, which I’ve been able to get from Walgreens. And having a Walgreens card is nice, too. This is one of my favorite stops, particularly for the reasons above. Thank you, Stephanie & Walgreens!
