Had the fish sandwich and it was the worst feed sandwich ever and the hamburger meat on my cheese burger was bland … I’m sticking to McDonald’s or Five guys for my fast food destinations from now on.

I had never been to a Whataburger, or at least not in El Paso. I saw their ad on TV for a patty melt and it convinced me I needed to try one. Being a gringo, sometimes it can be difficult to order at a drive-through in El Paso. Either I have difficulty understanding the employee or they have trouble understanding me. No problem at this Whataburger. However, the wait at the window was long, 5 minutes, to receive a patty melt, a fajita chicken taco, and an order of fries. It was around 2:30 so sometimes wait times can be longer than at busy times when an inventory of already-made products is available. I expected the patty melt to be in very thick, tough Texas Toast. Just the opposite, not overly bready and quite soft. The sandwich was very good. Also, the fajita chicken taco, while overpriced at $ 4, is very good. There is plenty of nicely-flavored chicken strips along with green peppers and onions. The downside was below average french fries which were lukewarm, at best. The soda was too full of ice. I liked their menu, it was a little different than many other fast food outlets. The breakfast menu looked very good and extensive. I’ll be back.

We were very happy to eat a Whataburger, fries and shake. Everything was just delicious. The bun was soft and fresh, the fries crispy, the burger tasty and the shake creamy. We don’t get a chance very often to visit a Whataburger so it is always a treat. For fast food it’s perfect. Everyone was friendly here, we had good service and the restaurant was very clean. Yum!

It’s a Whataburger. WhatcanIsay? I like their chicken sandwich, all good fried chicken and a good size, but I just do not like the whole wheat bun. The fries are good, but pretty average. Too much ice in their drinks even though I said no ice. And they didn’t have their regular ketchup. Boo! Blake’s is better, in my humble opinion. Whatever, it’ll do over McDonalds.

It’s usually at the end of a long night filled with many beers that whataburger seems like a good idea. Last night was such an occasion. Even through my boozy haze, I was really underwhelmed by the dry, sub-par burger. I used to think whataburger was a step above the other fast food options(which isn’t saying much), but I think some grease tacos from jack in the box might be a better late night option from now on. The onion rings were on point, though…

Can you say Crap? Over priced pre made thin ass burgers that arent good at all! The only thing worth while is their shakes. The restaurant smells like a men’s locker room, and my arm pits when I finish a hard day at work. Don’t know why people like this place for a bin a piece of ice burg lettuce and some dog food they use as meat you pay something like $ 5. I would only go after the bars close and I’m hungry and don’t care what I eat! Last time I’ve been their was close to a decade! Don’t plan to go any time soon!

You know what never lets you down? An A-1 Thick and Hearty burger, that’s what! I was hungry but in a rush, so I stopped at this Whataburger on my way to an appointment on the westside. Sure enough, with my luck, the lady in front of me didn’t know how to order, she either wanted a double with double meat which makes it a quadruple or wanted to make sure the double had exactly 2 patties, I don’t know. Luckily the manager saw my frustration and quickly opened a second register. Myself and the person behind me, completed our orders before the other person, and no she wasn’t an old lady, which could’ve made her confusion acceptable. Either way, thanks to the friendly manager at this Whataburger for taking good care of her customers, and delivering a very yummy A-1 Thick and Hearty, kudos on a job well done!

As far as fast food goes, Whataburger is my favorite. I usually use the drive-thru and never had any problems at this location.
