We were visiting friends recently in El Segundo and stopped by Chicken Dijon to pick up a to-go order of the«family value» meal of two whole rotisserie chickens with four large sides of baba ganoush, hummus, steamed vegetables, and Mediterranean fries for about $ 35 including tax. The food was tasty and more than enough for six reasonably hungry adults. The restaurant itself looked pretty run down, but we did not really care about the looks because we got the order to-go and we had called in the order so we did not have to wait. The workers were very nice and polite, too. Overall, Chicken Dijon seems like a good value.

The food here is pretty good. But I refuse now to go to this location. The prices are already so expensive and I as any other costumer would at least expect some good service. Which is far and few in between these days. So I ordered a DJ house salad and a side order or Mediterranean Fries, and asked for a extra and by «a» I mean one extra side of garlic sauce and they wanted to charge me $ 2.50. When I called back and just stated that seemed a little much, she said well we always charge. I said no you don’t I have never been charged and if I did it was a normal charge of .50 cents. So I said I’ll cancel my order and she said«okay» in such a cheery chipper voice and she hung up. I guess they are not that hungry for business and my order without the garlic sauce was 18 dollars. It was uncalled for and I work in the food industry and I would never let a guest walk away unhappy or be okay with loosing a sale. I’m sure this was not a manager and if it was they need new management. I guarantee non of my employees would ever treat a guest like this. Shame on you chicken Dijon. And I live walking distance from this location and I rather make a drive to another location or boycott eating at CD all together.

I be been there 3 times, always rude. Two out of three times they didn’t give me any garlic sauce when iv asked for extra and paid for it. This last time there was a peice of foil cooked into my food. The one by my house in redondo is complete opposite super nice people.

I’ve been going to this place for years but today was my last time. I tried using a coupon from the back of Ralph’s receipt I was told over the phone they are no longer honoring them. So I asked to speak to Mgr that’s when it all went bad! The rude employee Stephanie hung up on me when I asked her name. I showed up to the establishment and spoke to Mgr Vincent who did nothing to stop her or correct her unacceptable behavior making faces to me, laughing and making hand gestures to shut up! What has happened to businesses these days where employees feel free to act anyway they want and speak to customers however they feel like with the so called Mgr present. To make the experience even worse they got my order wrong! Never again I’ll drive a little further and go to chicken Maison where they appreciate their customers

Workplace decided to have Chicken Dijon do a small catering for a few people. It wasn’t bad! The chicken was a little dry for my taste, but the beef was really good. The salad dressing was a little oily and needed a bit of tang. The garlic sauce, however, was on point! They deserve the third star.

I have been ordering from this location for a while now but like I am going to have to move on. When I order my salads and wraps I always request white meat because the dark meat here always tends to be chewy. I also have to request fresh pita because there have been far too many times the pittas have been stale and hard. They seem to fail at following the requests in the orders I place like putting dark meat instead of the request for white meat. To go food ALWAYS has something they forgot to put with the order. For example, extra sauce, wontons on salad, or even side items. I never had these issues with the Artesia location and I suggest this one steps it up.

This place is not cool, prices on Internet are wrong… I was charged a totally different price when asked to pay… spoke w/Joe about this… and all he said was«sorry»…REALLY what is sorry going to do-Nothing-…This place is over priced! Not customer friendly at all. The way I see it, they don’t care to keep loyal customers happy… that’s to bad.

I ordered take out via their website. The transaction was easy enough.(Although they were out of potatoes… meaning no fries, etc. This seemed odd to me.) The boyfriend and I each ordered skewer plates — I ordered chicken and he ordered steak. The only thing I found to be better than decent about my meal was, well go figure, the chicken. It was nicely spiced/orientated. Everything else was way below average: cold, thin pita bread, the blandest side-salad, and forgettable hummus and baba ganoush. Nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, I don’t think Chicken Dijon will make the take-out list at our new apartment.

This location pretty much sucks. The one on Artesia has it together and their food is amazing! No skimping on anything, or forgetting items, the food doesn’t even taste the same as Artesia. Only tip is to serve Antibiotic & Hormone free chicken. And yes, we drive from Westchester to Redondo Beach instead of ES. I’d never eat at this location again… The food was horrible.

Half chicken platter, all day. Humus and rice. Great service. All employees greet you and are overall nice.

I visit this location a lot, the staff is always friendly and efficient and the location is walking distance from my place and a short drive from my work, plus, the menu has always been a healthy choice from my more bad habits! Now some constructive criticism… The place is pretty tired looking. The TV needs updating to a flat screen and maybe adding a second one in the front corner above the utensil table. A repaint to ditch the 15 year old color pallet and perhaps a bigger registrar table to ease the crowding, or, smaller updated registrars? My biggest gripe though would be the furnishings, just replace them. All the interior chairs are sticky! Their finish over time has reacted with the cleaner to the point that one could probably scrape it off with a butter knife, you can practically see the pattern your rear leaves from the imprint of the fabric! The smallish high tables that are inside by the window have that same slime feel to them, the exterior tables are fine as they are metal and have a proper surface, the chairs could go though as they are uncomfortable. That’s all, keep up the good work!

Can’t beat this for the price. I come here once or twice a week for lunch. My go-to’s are the chicken and rice plate and the gyro sandwich. If you check-in they give you a free drink.

I used to work right across the street and now that I retired, I find myself going there more than when I worked nearby. With a Groupon Coupon in hand, I ordered two chickens to go and was even able to get a free drink through Unilocal. The store is busy during lunch and is probably the healthiest restaurant along Main Street. They serve you a lot of food for the money, and are always nice. Being a beach City, this location would do well with surfers and those that go to Grand Beach. The Pita and greek sauces really make the self made Pita sandwiches stand out. Just have some greens to stuff in, and you have dinner already made in a few minutes. to me, it’s better than Pollo Loco, probably because of the rotisserie cooking, rather than the grilling.

I like their food and the convenience of it being so close to my house but I have a real problem with their«Chicken» Caesar salad having barely 3 pieces of chicken in it, I mean, your name is CHICKEN Dijon, right? Stop being stingy with the chicken! $ 10 for all lettuce is a bit too much to pay…

Probably won’t be returning. All of my French fries were burnt, my potato salad tasted bitter. Feeling really disappointed :(

I order from here all the time. You can get takeout or delivery. Watch for Groupons to get a little discount. We always get the same thing, and my family loves it – Family Gyro Meal with rice and hummus, CD House Salad. I love the house salad, it’s basically chicken Caesar with rice, not low cal I’m sure but yummy! My kids love the rice and gyro meat. The meal comes with pita bread too. Only 4 stars because it’s salty and I get thirsty after eating here:).

It’s always a disappointment when you get your order and ½ of the key ingredients are missing from your to go box. Appetizers without dipping sauces. No tatrika sauces. Sigh. The dish is pretty darn dry without these items. :(

Pleasantly surprised by this place! BF bought a groupon for here, and we finally got around to using it for dinner after a run at manhattan beach. It was the perfect post workout meal! We shared two orders, which was so much food that I had lunch for the next day. We got the house salad with chicken and gyro, amazing! It was like chicken and rice on crack, loved it and got to pack up half the order to bring to work the next day, score! We also got the steak skewer plate, which is cooked to perfection as they advertise on their menu, which was served on a bed of rice with your choice of two sides, we went with the Mediterranean fries(extra charge) and the hummus, everything was great! We also got the tropical ice tea, also delicious! Free fountain beverage or bottle of water with check-in, but can not be combined with groupon. Call in and order if you can, it took around 15 mins for our food to get cooked, which we didn’t mind, but I noticed most people had called in advance. Great find if you’re in the South Bay, and I’m pretty sure the groupon is still available. Enjoy!

For a fast causal chicken shop, this place over delivers in food quantity and taste. I’m writing this as I finish my meal that my mother and myself are greatly enjoying. She ordered the oriental chicken salad and I had the ¼ chicken and gyro plate. We decided to get the healthy sides of stuffed grape leaves and falafel but the Greek fries looked amazing on our neighbors plate. I’d def re-visit for a casual lunch or pick up order

Oh, this isn’t just any rotisserie chicken … It’s Chicken Dijon … Mediterranean-style chicken(not French). Fast food, free parking, and super people behind the counter are all reasons to round up for this 3.5 star chicken joint. Oh, the Unilocal Deal for $ 15 worth of food didn’t suck either. Armed with the Unilocal discount, I did my best«Colonel» Sandor Clegane(aka The Hound) impression ordering«Bring me one of those chickens.» I’m not sure the sweet lass behind the counter watches Game of Thrones … umm, so, we’ll also take one of the most popular menu items whatever that is. She recommended the CD House Salad. CD House Salad($ 9.49) Basically, it’s a tossed Chicken Caesar Salad with the magical ingredient Rice. Not sure it is worthy of being a specialty, but it was ok for a change of pace. ½ Chicken Plate with 2 sides($ 9.99) Mediterranean Fries and Steamed Vegetables were my sides for the Half Chicken making this one large platter of food. The Fries are sprinkled with Olive Oil, Garlic, Parsley, and a mound of Feta & Parmesan Cheeses. Don’t worry, I got healthy veggies, so, there’s no reason to bring this up to my diet. For the Chicken, be sure to ask for the Spicy Sauce. Chicken Morghulis
