I have to admit, I used this company last year, and was less than thrilled. The lights looked fine, but the customer service left something to be desired. It was mid-​December, so I know they were slammed, but I felt rushed, and like they didn’t really want to listen to anything I had to say.
Fast forward to this year. I called them again because, well, they are the first ones who came to mind, and quite frankly, I just wanted it done.
This morning, Roy and Steven from Christmas Brothers showed up as scheduled. They were, in one word: AWESOME. So customer service oriented, and provided me with a few options on the lights and where they should be placed. They took their time, but they were not slow. Most importantly, they heard the fact that I have OCD and took the time to make sure that everything was lined up perfectly!
I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Roy and Steven! See you next year! :-)

Litters neighborhoods with signs posted to private gates, and telephone polls. Hires workers from Home Depot parking lot. They are not responsive to calls or emails. Beware.

Had the christmas brothers install exterior house christmas lights last night. took them 3.5 hours and the service was great. Got exactly what I wanted at what I thought was a reasonable price. I expressed concern about installation causing broken roof tiles (after another review I read). I was reassured it should be fine, assuming the tiles weren’t too brittle. Found out they weren’t and went ahead with light installation lining the roof. All my tiles were fine. Guys were very nice and I did micromanage them a bit — telling them I wanted lights to be denser on one tree trunk — they immediately amended it, no questions asked. It’s obvious they really care about what they do and about customer satisfaction. I was hesitant to hire this company after seeing the Unilocal reviews, and was pleasantly surprised by how great they were.

This is my first ever Unilocal review but I want to help someone else. These guys were great initially. They gave me a quote over the phone and then said that we needed to have an in person quote to confirm. The day before, my husband decided to hang out own lights. I called the company to cancel. They didn’t answer the phone (a common theme here) so I left a message. The installers came today anyways. We told the that we had cancelled and apologized for the confusion. They left, and we thought it was over. Instead, they cam back 1 hour later, telling us that we owe a $ 75 fee for canceling (30% of the initial estimate). When I told him that that was never ever mentioned, he said «What, we are supposed to explain all of the fine print?». He and his partner got angry and honestly I felt scared. I have tried repeatedly to reach the company but they don’t seem to answer their phones. Buyer beware.

Best company ever. Always on time, very respectful and get the job done rather swiftly.
These guys are amazing. The pricing is very fair, seeing how they are climbing on roofs and up and down ladders also climbing trees! YIKES!
They provide the lights and they are yours to keep :)

When I called to make my appointment I established what the total fee would be to install in late November, and remove the lights after the holidays. It was a little pricey for simply stringing a single row of lights along the roof line, but I was so happy to get an early season appointment that I consented. When the workmen arrived timely to install my lights I didn’t even mind them charging me an additional $ 25 for a couple of extra strands of additional lighting (my own lights) be added to my front porch. Before the workmen began, I confirmed with them AGAIN that the total fee covered installation and removal of the lights. The work was completed, and the servicemen paid in full.
We called to set an appointment for the lighting to be taken down this morning, and was told the cost would be an additional $ 30. That’s when the mushroom cloud exploded! WHAT A SCAM!!! I was pretty hot and ready to wage public relations war using every weapon in the social media arsenal. This story has a decent ending though. After hearing my complaints, the owner, in the interest of good public relations, decided to remove the lights at no additional cost. Will I use them again? Hmmm… Only if every «I» is dotted and every «t» crossed in writing. Caveat emptor!

This company is absolutely terrible at responding to phone calls. They are completely on top of trying to book houses to install the lights, but try getting them to come back out and take down the installed lights? NO RESPONSE!
They did an okay job putting up the lights but had major problems with light timing and had to have them come back to the house a few times before they fixed the problem.
Now I’m trying to uninstall the lights and guess what nobody has called me back, after two weeks of calling and leaving over 7 voicemails. I really wouldn’t be surprised if this terrible (customer service) company has gone out of business.

Had the Christmas lights put up a couple days ago and absolutely love their work and creativity. They worked around my difficult schedule, I explained what I wanted and got even more than I expected. Extremely satisfied with the results, will for sure be using them again. Very professional, courteous and most definitely creative. You get what you pay for. About time they got a more recent and positive review for their work as of now

I have been using the Christmas Bros for a few years now and couldn’t be more pleased with their service. They always arrive on a timely basis and do the job as I envisioned. I can’t thank them enough for always brightening up our holiday season.

Horrible service! First, and this should have been my first red flag, after they got half the job done they said they couldn’t do what I asked them to do. They said their price included the removal of the lights after the holiday. Yet, they haven’t respond to my request to come over and remove them.
