Jill and her team of rock stars did such a beautiful job on my wedding papers (invites, response cards, table numbers, place cards, menus, and escort cards). I came to Copper Willow with a wedding emblem I had made and a very specific idea of what I wanted my invites and day-​of papers to look like. I shared my vision with her and she showed me many examples and provided color and font suggestions that were spot on. The whole process was very organized and such a breeze. The papers turned our beautiful and I could not be more thankful to Jill and her team for their work and being such a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Copper Willow to anyone and am actually working with them again on stationary for my business.

And just when I thought this business couldn’t possibly treat me any worse… They have. I am paying over $ 30 per invitation not including postage, and apparently this does not even buy me a folded stuffed addressed envelope. I rarely take the time to write, good or bad so for me to actually write a review is a tremendous statement to how terrible of an experience I have had with these people. She produced 4 drafts, all by email, and all incorrect and with illegible indiscernible graphics. Jill never did send me a 100% correct draft, I finally gave up on having a liner for my envelopes because of the indiscernible graphics she used, she puts no effort into helping her client, and by the way everything is Ala Carte! She did 4 incorrect drafts, then insisted that since I did not sign off on any of them she would charge me $ 50 per additional draft, it gets worse. She never corrected the final draft, she stopped communicating, until so much time passed that I would have to pay an additional 25% which at this point is upwards of $ 400 for the invitations to be any where near on time. I am so frustrated with this business, I have only worked with Jill but she is absolutely horrible, and I do believe she is the owner. In addition, I found out tonight that she plans to not deliver my invitations for another two weeks an when she does they will not be assembled and stuffed, at upwards of $ 30 per invitation and all I have endured from her there is yet another additional charge to have them assembled and stuffed! This was supposed to be a joyful, fun creative experience for me but Jill has completely robbed me of any joy in this process of selecting and creating my invitations and instead turned it into a very stressful and most likely disastrous affair. Just a disgusting person to deal with all the way around. The invitations as of this writing are not complete. In addition, she hasn’t told me how much the assembled invites will weigh or given me any idea of the postage so I can’t even order my postage yet.

We couldn’t have been happier with the quality, professionalism, beauty of the final product and just how enjoyable the whole process was for designing our wedding papers with Copper Willow! We chose Copper Willow and worked with Megan from the beginning. Megan was absolutely wonderful! For our Save the Date they were able to create exactly what we had in mind even though we had never seen anything like it before — their imagination, willingness to work with the customer, and ability to produce the customer’s vision is remarkable. However, it was with our invitations that we were truly blown away. I sent Megan a picture from a magazine of an invitation to give her an idea of what we were thinking and she was able to run with it, incorporate our colors, make it 10 times more beautiful and return a draft within a matter of days that was 99% perfect! It was unbelievable. The only changes we made were to the content. It couldn’t have been easier and the final product was the most gorgeous thing we’ve seen! The compliments still haven’t stopped and it’s been 3 months since the wedding. We’ve also used Copper Willow for our business cards and will surely be going back to them for all of our stationary needs, even though we live in Miami and they are located in Los Angeles. The distance was never a problem and nearly all of our planning and designing was done via email. They are very professional, very fun to work with, and truly know how to deliver. I have nothing but praise and appreciation for this company!

Sorry, had to reply to this. In no way our communications have even been rude or disrespectful to this business. We never demanded, or talked rudely. Not once. If rudeness is making you fix your own mistakes, I don’t know what to tell you.
1. Delivery format was not specified to artist in a clear way
2. All emails from business were written in forms of orders. Without hello or goodbye.
3. From my end, it was the business that was disrespectful and rude and continues to be so.
4. Copper Willow was one and only vendor among many, and they were ONLY ones that we had an issue with. Although we’ve been very patient to a certain point.
5. User beware. I’m not the only person who posted a comment about them being rude. I think the answer from the business pretty much shows the attitude.

I used Copper Willow for my wedding invitations and wedding day-​of papers (place cards, menus, programs, signs, table numbers, etc.). The main thing about this business that I can fully say with confidence is that they produce incredibly beautiful QUALITY products. I received such an outpouring of compliments on my invitations. They are easy to work with, and the pricing for the level of quality was very reasonable and 100% worth it. The invitations set such a perfect tone for my wedding and got people excited to come. I am so happy I went to Copper Willow for such an important day in my life! I highly recommend them!

I called this studio twice. the first time I thought that one of the owners was very rude so I didn’t book an appointment. We went to another store and looked and invitations. We didn’t like them so I decided to call Copper Willow back and give them another chance. I called and again I thought they were very rude. Both times I called, I was hung up on after they realized they weren’t getting my business. literally hung up on. (the first time I didn’t know they were closed sundays and the second time they were closed for the holidays) But they were not very nice. I wouldn’t buy anything from these people.

I used Copper Willow to create Holiday cards for my business. They were super easy to work with from start to finish and I am so happy with the cards they made for me. They even finished a few days early. I will absolutely be back again!

Invitations looked great! We got a ton of compliments from our guests about the quality and look of our invitations. Leora was great at capturing what we wanted, and we were very specific. The process was explained well and time frames were as stated. We had a few instances with the calligrapher though where the work wasn’t double-​checked so we needed some envelopes re-​written, luckily we had enough wiggle room and didn’t have to buy anything additional, but did need to make a few trips out to their studio. All-​in-​all a great product and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

We worked with Jill for our wedding invitations and had a great exerience! We were late for our consultation appointment but she was unfazed and spent a full hour with us anyway. Everything was on time and the final product was gorgeous. I had no troubles with communication – she even got back to me when she was on vacation and I got my pick-​up dates confused! She also designed a family crest for us that we put on the invitations based on our separate family crests, and it turned out beautifully. Prices were fair for the quality of the work. I highly recommend them.

I had my wedding invitations for my May 30^th wedding made at Copper Willow and they were beautiful! I also had Jill Veldez do calligraphy on the envelopes and place card holders and they were stunning. I received several compliments on the invitations as well as the calligraphy and would highly recommend Copper Willow’s work to anyone.

I very highly recommend Copper Willow and their absolutely beautiful work. I knew that everything they made would be top quality and just lovely. Jill helped me think about my theme throughout all the paper for our event (from save the date, to our custom graphic as part of our return address, to personalized place cards), and she kindly allowed me to agonize over every small detail. I love all things paper and stationery, so this was an important element of the wedding planning for me and I was thrilled with the decision to work with Copper Willow!

So thankful for Jill at copper willow. My fiancé and I spent countless hours scouring the Internet to find the perfect wedding invitation. After ordering probably 100 samples from various online resources we realized we were in way over our head. Cut to copper willow. We walked out of our first meeting feeling a huge sense of relief. Jill listened intently to things we liked, didn’t like, had great ideas and feedback. She worked her magic and within 10 days we had proofs that were a perfect combination of what we wanted and original ideas. We were concerned about time since we had waited so long to get the process started but she didn’t even blink an eye. Picking up our invitations was so fun and exciting and they were so much more beautiful in full print. Honestly we thought we were going to save so much money by using an online resource, but in the end it was about the same. The attention to detail and customization were amazing. Truly can’t recommend Jill enough.

I recently met with a representive there to discuss preparing invitations for my birthday party. Perhaps, I was in a unique situation because I only wanted 20 invitations for a small event. But I wanted the invitations to be very unique and stylish. I sat down with the very nice representative to discuss details. We talked for about an hour and I certainly appreciated her time and insights. Then, she and her rather cold boss went into the back room for about 20 minutes, whispering discussions about what to charge me for the project. The represenative came back and quoted me $ 725 for 20 invitations. Of course, the representative (who again, was fairly nice and thorough) had to relay the quote to me, while the boss lady disappeared into the back, never to return. I thought the courteous thing to do would have been for the boss to come explain the astronomical price rather than leave the tough communication to her representative. After all, the boss was obviously the person who set the price, not the representative. Certainly, that’s what the representative nervously told me after she gave me the quote. I spoke to every female friend I knew who got married and they explained that the quoted price was absolute highway robbery for invitations, certainly for only 20 invitations to be made by machine, not by hand. The explanation given by the representative was that the company’s main expense is for the design and creative process of making the first invitation, and that the price would have been basically the same had I ordered 20 invitations or 200. I quickly went to two different competitors who quoted me no more than ¹⁄₃ the price. I told them the price I was quoted here, and they each commented that they would never have charged that much, no matter the quality of paper or type of emprint. My feeling and impression is that I just think the owner and (perhaps to a lesser extent, the representative I met with) are used to a certain kind of customer (with a certain kind of look and/​or appearance and/​or expectations). I just did not get a sense that they wanted my business, although I was willing to pay a premium. I am happy with the alternative. I am getting better invitations for ¹⁄₃ the price, and they are being hand-​made for my special occassion.

I walked into Copper Willow a little over a week ago looking to get my wedding invitations made. I’m a designer by trade, created the invites myself and knew exactly what I wanted. What I was looking for was a quote and approximate turnaround time…
The girl at the desk assisting me gets 4ish stars for taking my info and offering good customer service. She told me that the other lady there was busy with another client and that they’d get back to me in the next day or two with a quote. Totally understandable.
So… It’s been at least 10 days and I’ve heard nothing. No email. No phone call. Nada. Needless to say, I’ve taken my business elsewhere as another local company got back to me with a quote and answered all of my questions/​concerns within 24 hours.

Copper Willow was recommended for our wedding invitations. Our meeting went well and we walked away knowing it would be exactly what we wanted. There was a little confusion (could’ve been on my part) about how to proceed which put us right up against the deadline. But Jill saved us! She sent us some drafts and once we made some changes we were good to go. They were beautiful and our guests agreed.

Quality– Very nice invites, quality paper, ink and letterpress were both impressive. You’re probably overpaying and can get something similar at Paper Source or

Service — Here’s where I have a problem with this place. Everything was dandy up until I gave them my deposit and all of a sudden, all customer service was out the window. I had to bump up my deadline by one week. It took four emails, two voicemails and then a final call to finally get Leora on the phone to change the date. And I think this was by luck.
Once I picked up my invites, I was very happy with them. We then proceeded to discuss day-​of items. We spent a good amount of time brainstorming and figuring out what was best. I followed-​up with two emails to start this job and to give them money. And, surprise, surprise, no response. I ended up doing everything myself for day-​of items and kind of wish I would’ve done the same with my invites.
I get they might be busy, but they really need to start paying closer attention to responsiveness and getting back to people in a timely manner, especially when you’re spending hundreds of dollars on paper goods.
Note — Jill’s calligraphy skills are definitely worth the price, she does outstanding work. This was worth it alone for the less the stellar communication I had to put up with.

Copper Willow made my save the date, menu card, ceremony program and tags for the wedding favors. They did such a wonderful job and did exactly what I asked for. Things really got down to the wire the week of my wedding and they were able to rush everything for us which was a HUGE help! Copper Willow’s prices are also awesome, they are so so reasonable for custom work. They are fabulous!

Have you ever gone to a nice card shop to by a card and pay $ 4 and up for that card that is clearly a mass produced card? Well at Copper Willow the LETTERPRESS (yeah that means not only unique but expensive to produce because each one is done by HAND) cards are $ 4.50! Their specialty is custom invitations and announcements however they have a number of clever ideas on display wine glass tags art work and cards to name a few. I will be going back not only for high end business cards that are sure to turn heads (first impressions are so important) and also for custom welcome cards and gift tags for attendees to my Executive Wellness and Leadership Retreats.

I stopped in here looking for fancy envelopes for interview thank-​you letters, thinking that it was a general stationary store. Found out that it is a workshop for elegant wedding invitations and greeting cards. Regardless of this, the lady at the counter was extremely helpful in fulfilling my requests. She put together a large package of custom envelopes for a very modest price! I was very pleased with the service here, and will definitely be coming back for supplies since I frequently like to send good old-​fashioned letters to family and friends.

My wife signed us up for their letterpress workshop for my birthday. It was fantastic! Jill & Leora were super patient with everyone and shared tons of knowledge with us. (Who knew the LA Times was still using letterpress until 1974?!) They were great at helping us design our projects and offered helpful suggestions and insights.
I could have stayed all day, printing coasters, if they had let me.
Their studio is very charming. The examples of their work are gorgeous.
