Today I had the honor and privilege of meeting Patrick, the owner of Pure Salon. It has been 6 years since I have felt comfortable enough to place all creative trust in the hands of a hair stylist. To simply place Patrick in the category of hair stylist is not enough. He is a MIRACLE WORKER, through the grace of God. Patrick is compassionate, friendly, and efficient. The professionalism he displayed with me and other clients he has is above the rating of what Unilocal*will allow me to mark. The salon is welcoming and clean. When discussing the state of my hair, and how I currently feel because of issues I have encountered health wise, Patrick has help me to see there is an end which will allow me to have the pride I once had with my hair. He explained to me what can be accomplished with regular maintenance, and the vision he has in mind for my hair. I like the fact I can sit in a chair again, and allow the person working on my hair to work their magic. After this visit, I am proud to say my hair had found its home at Pure Salon. If you have the opportunity, go, you will not be disappointed.

I was having a Hair Emergency! Was looking for a new Hair Styllist. Patrick from Pure Salon was recommend to me. Very, Very pleased with my recommendation. Patrick is into hair care and because, I have dry scalp he is doing deep conditioning. My hair is coming back to it’s normal healthy shinny self. AND the most important part is when he presses out my hair, he does not burn my scalp!!! That is the most important thing in a Hair Stylist with Black women’s hair.(DON’T BURN THE SCALP OR THE KITCHEN) :-), ;)

DON’T GO HERE. I had an appointment at 10:00am for a few corn rows for a dance show and I needed them fast. When I got there, the place was closed. I sat outside and waited. And waited. And waited. No one bothered to call me to tell me they were running late and no one showed up. After 20 minutes, I called around and found another place who was nice enough to squeeze me in. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE business I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. When I called back later, Patrick said he’d had a late night and couldn’t get there. Really??? This is how you run a business??? Shame on you. You SUCK.

Patrick is very considerate to customers. I had extensions done and he did them in a timely matter. I also love how my hair feels when he presses it. If you’re in the area I would recommend going in and seeing for yourself.

The atmosphere at Pure Salon is inviting and chill. I LOVE coming here to get my hair styled. It’s always an experience! We chat, we joke, we laugh… aside from that, the stylists are friendly, professional, and efficient. The salon is charming, cozy and always clean. Patrick and Chris are the stylists at Pure Salon and they are both truly talented and skilled at what they do. Locs, hair weave, twists, braids, press and curl, color — they do it all and they do it well.

I came to Pure Salon because it was close to my office in El Segundo. I keep coming back to see Patrick because he does a great job cutting, coloring and highlighting my hair. Over the past 6 months since I switched my hair color from dark to blonde highlights, I have received many compliments from friends and strangers about how beautiful and natural my highlights look. In addition to the cut and color, he also gives you a fabulous head message and great conditioning. My hair is so soft and smooth & styled so perfectly when I leave. I wish I had him every morning to style my hair.

A gem in El Segundo! No long waits… no spending all day/​afternoon in the salon!
I grew out my hair from super short to medium length with the goal being a chin length bob. Patrick gave me just the right cut. I get lots of compliments. Better than that, he takes great care of my hair. I have color to cover gray. He presses with enough heat and pressure to get it straight but my hair doesn’t smell cooked when I leave. My hair is well conditioned with minimal breakage and shedding. Patrick provides a great wash and scalp massage. He takes the time to learn what your hair needs and responds well to. He’ll give you the style you want but loves to be able to stretch his creative wings. He is called the weave master but Pure Salon can offer so much more!

Great service, excellent styling… I recently visited Pure Salon and got a full head weave… it looks so natural and I feel and look amazing!!! If you are looking for high quality service in a private setting this is the place!!!

Pure salon… What can I say… this salon lives up to its name. Absolutely wonderful service. And fast. The staff is amazing. The salon is warm and cozy. My daughter’s and I went there 1 month ago. 2 full head weaves and 1 cornrows. We were out of there in less than 3 hours, it was neat and done correctly. I’m a faithful client every 2 weeks. Definitely worth trying out. Oh, and there are payment options available.

I’ve enjoyed my experience at this salon. From elegantly coifed braids to curls to color to cuts. I leave with more confidence and style after a trip to this best kept secret in El Segundo. Definitely a must go!
