Been a long time between visits for us. Steaks were surprisingly good, seafood ordinary and salad ok. Dessert was also very basic. Overall a mixed experience.

I wanted to come here because of the movie«White man can’t jump.» «We going to Sizzler!!» This place is «OK» they dont have much at the salad bar… I ordered the steak with a baked potato and it was okay not the best quality. I liked the fried chicken wings, that’s probably the best item from the salad bar. Desert here is terrible. If you want to eat alot, and dont have money, this place is for you.

I always come here for lunch when I’m in the area. I consistently get my steak cooked perfectly, and Michael is the best waiter I’ve had in a long time. On top of that, I get a steak, side, soup and salad for $ 11 + tip.

Sizzler isn’t my first choice of places to eat, nor my second or third and so forth. In fact, I don’t remember the last time I even ate at a Sizzler. I just know that it was my cousin’s birthday and I got the call to meet everyone there for dinner last night. As my family had arrived before me, they were awesome in that they took my order by phone with the group’s order so that I wouldn’t be waiting on a meal when I got there, which happened to work out perfectly as I when I arrive and sat down, within a few minutes, everyone’s dishes was being served. Now, the service was spectacular. I believe her name was Nikki and it was yet another experience where it seemed like I was in the server’s own home and she was the most gracious hostess. It helps that Sizzler has a lot of self serve options, including drinks but she was still attentive and we never had to look around for her for anything we needed or wanted, including my cousin’s multiple orders of «all you can eat» shrimp. They were disgustingly too salty by the way. Keep in mind, I’m from Hawaii and I feel that salt should be it’s own food group. I ordered a steak and shrimps on skewers. I also opted for the baked potato as my side(see pic). Ordered it medium and it came out medium well, which wasn’t too bad because the portion was so small that even if it were tough, there wouldn’t be a whole lot to chew. Not a lot of flavor but it didn’t have a earthy taste so there was no need to send it back. The shrimps weren’t overdone but the consistency seemed like they may not have been really fresh. As I’m composing this review, it’s been about 8 hours and I’m not sick so that’s a good sign. I ended up drowning the shrimps in butter because they seemed a bit bland to me. I did enjoy my potato though. Hard to mess up a baked potato. Too much butter though(ask for it on the side). I didn’t have anything off the self serve stations so I can’t and won’t comment on them. I just know that I really appreciated the awesome service and it was a family function and that’s always makes for a good time for me. Just another experience of not really caring for my meal …

I’m disappointed by the small selection of the salad bars. Maybe I just haven’t been in a long time. Way back when they used to have a Kid’s Cart where the kids can pick their items from. They used to have fried corn fritters, corn dogs, etc. The clam chowder wasn’t very good, and the broccoli cheese soup was mostly cheese. The desserts were all dried out, both the peach cobbler, and whatever else the other item was supposed to be. We originally ordered dinner items and the salad bar, but then we switched to the lunch entrees and a salad bar because it was $ 3 cheaper(for the salad bar). My daughter liked picking out her own items, even though there was not much of a selection. No one really came to pick up our plates. I think we had a good stack and some soup cups piled up before anyone came. Good thing it’s self-serve drinks or else I would’ve really been upset.

IF I COULDGIVETHISPLACE A 0 I WOULD. First of all, I got charged wrong. Then I got dirty cups, with chunks of FOOD smeared on the inside. When I seen the receipt and asked if I could get my money back the gentleman started giving me excuses for why I was charged wrong. Then I told him about my dirty cups and he proceeded to lift the cups behind him up and state that«.that’s just how the plastic looks» A hostess to the left of him started giving her two cents as to why I was charged wrong and that it was only a $ 4 difference. Then she told me about my cups. This place is absolutely terrible. I’m surprised their aren’t more negative reviews. I will not be returning to this location.

Not much of a Sizzler fan now as I was back in the day, but my Grams really wanted to come here, so I obliged. Everytime we come to this location though, it seems like we’re seated at a dirty table or behind some people competing for the World Cup of burping… ugh We went in for the salad bar. I had a few chicken wings with salsa, guacomole and chips. Not my usual order. I usually get a chicken salad with ranch dressing and their tasty mac and cheese to the side, but because I’m having a little congestion issue at the moment, I can’t eat anything with dairy. I also became a little saddened when I saw how limiting the dessert bar was in terms of nondairy items. After 30 mins of finishing my food I started getting this strange aftertaste(I believe it’s from the guacomole). When we started driving I started becoming nauseous and had to suck on a spare mint until I got home. I just woke up from a nap and not feeling much better, so I’m gonna have a little pepto after this review. Service was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. It was also the same amount of people like last time we came. I think next time I’ll just choose a different meal item, because I’ve never felt ill after eating here before. I’m happy my Grams likes this place, but I’d prefer my home cookin’ anytime to this.

Ok, I know what you are thinking… this is Sizzler, but you need to stop that right this instant. I know for a fact that this is a test restaurant and the only one in California at least, if I remember hearing correctly from the manager. That means that the company tries out a lot of new things here before they roll out with them nationwide. I go to a few other Sizzler locations with my dad because he loves the salad bar, so I have some basis for comparison. The salad bar is an another level… it’s very well kept and stocked. I love their spinach & dried cranberry salad with crumbled bleu cheese on top. It’s my favorite! I want some now, just thinking about it. They don’t ave a crazy amount of choices, but the quality is great and I also like the salads they offer, like tuna, potato and macaroni. Another favorite salad bar item is the roasted jalapeño peppers. Paired with the steak it was fantastic! I’ve been here twice already and I have ordered their rib-eye steak and salmon dinners and it was quite amazing. They don’t come with fancy sauces or anything, but you can actually taste how good the quality of the meats are. Another thing that i love about this Sizzler is the bread that the servers bring to you. No, not the cheese bread, but a simple freshly baked roll served with a sweet butter that is actually divine. This is what I was looking forward to while driving here my second time. It’s great to see a restaruant chain step up their game like the way Sizzler is doing. I can’t wait until the rest of the locations join this location. I’ll definitely be coming back for thirds and fourths…

i’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say we just caught them at the wrong time. which was around 430p. we’re guessing in between the lunch and dinner shifts. i realize i’m eating at sizzler so i don’t have too high expectations. but, here are the points that lead to the rating… the automated machine to take our order was out of commission. it took about 2mins to get a real cashier. the nacho chips were empty. the spaghettis noodles were empty. the clam chowder was almost empty. no chicken wings. oh, and this particular location doesn’t offer cheese bread. NOEFFINGCHEESEBREAD??? although, the fresh roll was pretty good. they did eventually restock, but, really unacceptable to have so many missing items. we’ll come back here because it’s so close to us. i just hope we catch them more prepared next time. i have high hopes. stay tuned.

Sizzler is one of those places I only go to when I am at work, with co-workers. Today was no different. The office decided to have a «winter» luncheon together and Sizzler works for us. Everyone pays upfront and we don’t have to worry about splitting the tab(a story for another day). I called last minute(my bad) to reserve a table for 15. Jose, the manager, seemed slightly hesitant but he said he could accommodate us. I went ahead of everyone else to secure the reservation(I recently have had a bad experience with reservations — read my review re: The Room — horrible, horrible, horrible). When I got there ten minutes early I was pleasantly surprised to see that two tables had«Reserved for Veronica» signs on them. Two points for Jose. Then there was Liz, our server. She was just the nicest, most sweet, greatest server. When I asked for cheese bread, she said, «I’ve already put in the order for you,» and her service only got better. And when I spilled a drink(trying to clear the table — go figure) Liz said, «Don’t worry about it, honey, if it’s not messy, it wasn’t good.» It was a perfect outing, my endless salad bar got the better of me(I was so full and I only made one trip!) and the service was outstanding. Two thumbs up.

Not sure if its because i grew up eating at Sizzler, or because of White Men Can’t Jump, but its always good times at Sizzler. I would say that its one of the better run Sizzler that i’ve been to and that its not a bad place when you need a salad, topped with some fried chicken, meatballs, some taco meat and maybe a scoop of ice cream. But if you’re looking for a little more substance they have dinner/lunch specials where you can get a burger or steak AND salad bar for around $ 10. The best thing of all is that they still serve their CHEESYBREAD. This alone brings me back to my childhood memories when Sizzler was the fancy place my parents would bring me to. They’ve also got beers, and i’m not talking about the 12oz bottles, they’ve got the big boys too if you so desire.

My friend/kinda boyfriend/it’s complicated left for his home country last night and is never coming back: o(When I asked him where he wanted to go for his very last meal in the USA, he chose to come here. And really I would have taken him anywhere he wanted to go. He said he just wanted a great big fresh salad so he didn’t feel too full on the plane ride home. It was packed last night but we were seated after a few minutes. I also got the pork chop and it was surprisingly very good. Everything was super fresh and tasted fantastic. It might be awhile before I can find someone to come back here with me but I really like this place and I will always have my memories of my dear friend.

I don’t have much to say really about this location of Sizzler other than the self-service kiosks were entertaining. Three hungry women and only two kiosks allowed me to watch my co-workers order first and observe what not to do. Then it was pretty easy for me to order. Steak, veggie, spinach salad. Yeah, I left with my diet intact. That’s always a good thing at lunch.

Father was in town, so we had a father+daughters«quick» lunch stop close to his hotel. Compared to the other, more expensive lunch spots in the same plaza(7.99 and up for single lunch plates in very crowded small restaurants), an all-you-can eat in a larger establishment sounded nice. We all got the all-you-can eat 7.99 deal(includes salad bar and«hot food» bar and loved it! I shed a tear when I saw the endless deep fried chicken wings at the hot bar– with endless buffalo sauce next to it. HEAVEN. I gorged on plate after plate of chicken wings ’til my heart and belly were content. We are all big fans of buffet style chain restaurants(yeah, shoot us, whatevs) and Sizzler definitely hit the spot for our not-so-quick meal(ended up being 2.5 hours long after we got into an alexandra wallace/freedom of speech discussion, LOL). Would come back just for the endless chicken wings. YUM.

I really didn’t come with high expectations. Wasn’t expecting high quality food or anything. But I did come looking to pig out and I did! The salad bar was stocked, clean and fresh. And the I was diggin’ the veggie soup. Surprisingly it was VERY hot. The way I like my soup! The taco station was good too. The ground beef was a little on the greasy side but I was too exited about the guacamole to let that get me down. My steak was okay. But again wasn’t going in expecting a lot. The waitress was sweet and made sure the table was clutter free. If I want to get my grub on, I would come again: o)

Salad bar is great for lunch. The prices have gone up over the last few years and Sizzler isn’t the cheap meal it used to be. But the food quality has stayed the same. It’s good and filling, but not sure some of the plates are worth the price anymore. It’s pretty clean but can get messy when they get busy. The wait staff is hit and miss. It all depends on how many customers they get and who’s doing the«waiting».

Not bad. The regular ol’ chain restaurant experience, with slightly better food =) — Salad bar — nothing crazy, just the greens, some tuna pasta, some fruits, to start you off. — Malibu chicken was quite tasty~ with cheese melted on top of ham on top of bread-coated chicken + Baked potato w/butter, sour cream, and chives, oh and starting that off with the Cheese toast(and not the boring Rollss) The yellow mustardy sauce that came with it was also good. Somehow, the whole dish reminded me of Eggs benedict… haha? =) Man, fattening much? Good fat is delicious fat.

This place has average cashier(he was pretty funny — I was Laker hating on him and he told me to come to his hood and say it and see what happens *with a chuckle and that kidding kinda grin*) rather attentive management staff(to the food) and non-existent wait staff. I ordered the salad bar and the greens look friend, tasted fresh so I gues must be fresh, the chicken wings were pretty good, the cornbread was a tad bit dry and et cetera et cetera… it’s pretty good for a Sizzler(except the service).

So, my high school friend and coworker asked if I wanted to join him for lunch at Sizzler, but for ‘Salad’? Healthy foods and I do not go hand and hand. Now if this Sizzler was in Honolulu, then Steak N’ rice would get my attention. So off we went in the rain today. As you know, this is not the high end steak house or a Soup Plantation, but a decent place to eat. I got the lunch value meal for $ 7.95 with a steak, one time salad bar, cheese toast and a beverage. The steak was cooked as I had asked(Med-Rare), and decent, but the Sizzler steak sauce has to go. Overall experience was good, place was clean, servers were friendly. They have four large flat screen t.v.‘s that was showing ESPN and a clean restroom. We may visit this place again during this rainy season.

My friend was on vacation with some of her friends and since the hotel they were staying at is directly across the street from this Sizzler, they decided to go for breakfast here. I was late getting into LA to meet my friend so she waited for me at the hotel before we went over to Sizzler. It’s been years — maybe more than a decade — since I’ve been to a Sizzler. I didn’t even know they had a breakfast buffet. Maybe they only do it on the weekend or maybe they only offer it at this airport location, who knows. However, for $ 10, it wasn’t such a bad deal for this buffet. There was made to order omelettes, salad bar, soups(menudo was one of the choices), bacon, sausage, chicken wings, pancakes, and a host of other stuff to choose from. My friend’s friends had to leave earlier because their flight home left before my friend’s flight, so the two of us sat there for another 2 hours before leaving. They were pretty cool. They didn’t rush us or ask us to leave. Not my first(or second or third) choice to eat at, but I guess if you’re a tourist and you don’t have a car, this isn’t the worst place you could eat at within walking distance.
