This is THE WORST JACK IN THE BOX in the bay area!!! I live nearby and unfortunately have to drive all the way to the JITB in San Pablo Town Center just to get fresh HOT food, and friendly service… Every single time I go to THIS JITB ON San Pablo Dam Rd. I get COLD, NASTY TASTING, INEDIBLE TRASH!!! And the employees are the rudest, jerks I’ve ever encountered in a long time. I just had to throw all of the $ 32.00 in burgers and fries that I bought for my family in the garbage it was so cold and tasteless… what a WASTE OF MONEY!!! And I live 3 blocks away… seriously!!! DO NOT EVER PATRONIZE this JITB if you want to avoid the NIGHTMARE OF YOUR LIFE!!! I think it should be torn down, the owners should do the city of El Sobrante a big favor!!! I will be calling corporate to file a huge conplaint on this horribly awful place!

I ordered a Jumbo Jack «cheese“burger meal (#6) and the attendant ask me «is this with cheese or no cheese?» What a day. And to wrap it up I was waiting for my order for a good 10 minutes so I asked again is my food ready? Adding insult to injury they did not start making my order. Nice one Jack in the box.

Jack in the box! Was in the area! Needed some quick energy. Two tacos no cheese please, and some chicken nuggets. Not the healthiest, but once in a while it happens. Yolo

This ids unbelievable I paid $ 21.00 for two hamburgers a two large fries two milk shakes… the two hamburgers were the size of $ 2.00 burgers the fries were cold the shakes didn’t tastes like shakes they were like foamed up cream from the can! kinda see the reason no one is standing in line here! This will be the last time I pay for over priced food! look on the sales receipt! two free tacos! This might be anyway to get you to come back there!!! Free food! My Stars are minus five stars ! lousy food!

I will never go to this jack in the box anymore! Not only drive thru was rude they would mess up with your order so always double check you food! And when I ask for extra butter milk they say they can only give out two at a time and I order twenty burgers pisses me of! I hope they go bankrupt so them rude workers can stay unemployed! Don’t support this place go to the jitb by the casino very friendly and better taste burger!

Well~I am shocked and surprised that this Jack in the Box served my food piping hot! So hot that I drove from El Sobrante to Hayward: My mom was very happy her sourdough breakfast sandwich was very hot!

Its jack in the box. U get what u pay for. Make sure u get a reciept and count ur change before you leave, I gave $ 50 bill for a $ 7 purchase. Didnt get a reciept because the printer was jammed then was told that I only payed with a $ 10 bill. A 5min trip ended up being a 30min one.

I don’t really want to review the food, everyone knows what Jack in the Box is all about. This post is about the DRIVE THRU, like most check your order before putting your car into DRIVE and driving away. Who cares if there is people behind you, CHECK IT! This place is consistent with missing something, at least for me they are. Oh yeah to restaurants defense, this only happens LATE NIGHT. I only eat here because there are no other options after 10pm!!!
Bottom Line: I’m thankful that this place exists, but check your order before driving off!

i think this place is okay. i haven’t really gone to any other jack in the boxes, and don’t remember how their food service was, but i’m sure they spoke better english. my mom would always take me and my siblings here when we were hella tiny, so it’s got some sentimental values. the service ain’t so great… okay, the service sucks and food is mediocre. if you really need jack in the box, there’s a better one in san pablo. well, i’m not sure if it’s better, but it is a lot newer.
it’s also where some of el sobrante’s tweekers hang out.
there has also been a few robberies/​shootings.

i was sllllaaaauuughhhhtterrred drunk last friday night after leaving the casino san pablo with 3 friends.
i got the big deal meal… it included 2 tacos, drink and choice of burger or chicken sandwich. i got the chicken sandwich. yuck.
great drunk food though.

A recent outing to the JITB drive through — we wanted three Jumbo Jacks, one without veggies (Lettuce, pickle, tomato… the usual.) So we tell this to the person on the speaker, and they reply:
«Which burger don’t you want the veggies on?»
Uh, you’ve got three burgers there. Pick one.
Typical food for a fast food joint. No worse. No better, though, either…
