Been going here for 11 years. Started going here when I lived in El Sobrante. Moved to San Rafael and I’m still going here! Best authentic burritos anywhere! Love this place!

A great authentic Burrito at a decent price. Very friendly ladies running the truck. I’ll definitely be here regularly.

I’ve come here a couple of times with my boyfriend and it’s pretty good. I usually order the steak burritos and let me tell you that they are huge especially for a cheap price. The burrito is probably the size of my forearm in length. They are super friendly here and fast. As for the taste with the steak burritos, sometimes it’s a hit or a miss with me. I do want to try their tacos of course, actually I want to try it all!

Compre un burrito regular de asada tiene buen sabor la carne asada y lo que lleva dentro lo único que no me gustó fue el tamaño del burrito por el precio está un poco caro en tamaño del burrito es del mismo tamaño de una coca-​cola de lata y también tiene que mejorar la forma como atienden a los clientes porque saludas y no te saludan de regreso o posiblemente tenía un mal díà la señora y también tienen que lavarse las manos después de agarrar el dinero y tocar la comida

The best Mexican food In El Sobrante! I love their tacos, burritos and sandwiches. An added perk is you can get amazing fresh meat from the butchers at Central Foods for dinner while you pick up lunch. Love their free pickled carrot, radish and jalapeño side as well. A must try !!!

I love this place! Also you get what you pay for so one can not complain. I have tried the burritos and the tacos but prefer the tacos. After all it is a taco truck…

I loooove this place! I’ve tried the steak tacos, steak burrito, steak torta, and chicken quesadilla. All Sooo good but the best is the torta. It’s small but very flavorful. The bad thing is they don’t have chips or guacamole :(that’s the only disappointment

I just went here for the first time in over a year and ordered a pastor super burrito an it was just straight up awesome. You can take a man out of El Sob, but you can’t take El Sob out of a man. Extremely satisfied!

Everytime I drive past this truck, there’s always a line so I finally tried it. My fiancé decided to grab us a couple of super burritos to try, chicken for him and steak for me. We also switched and took bites from each other and we both agreed that it was good. I actually didn’t go to the truck myself but the mister said that the wait took a while. I personally thought it could’ve been slightly bigger since it’s a super but the length was longer than the average burrito. Every place have different versions.

I live right down the street we always pass by and see the long line but never had tried it but today we did and it was great! It was good service and yummy food.

I stopped by this truck because I always see a lot of people there, so I thought it would be some good burritos.
I don’t know how so many people said «best taco truck!»
This truck by far is one of the worst truck I’ve been to.
I ordered an Al Pastor burrito; meat got not taste and it’s not even spicy! If you’re gonna call something «spicy pork», I better get some heat from it!
Burrito is so small that it’s not even worth the 6 bucks!
If you guys want good burrito, go to Mi Virgencita Taqueria!

This is the best truck ever, & frankly the best Mexican food in the area, period (the nearby restaurants are horrible). The carnitas is perfect. I always get it in a burrito with red salsa & I am always pleased. The folks running the truck are very polite, easy to understand (& they understand you just fine, contrary to what other obviously biased reviewers have said– maybe you just don’t know how to order food from a truck?) & the service is very fast!

It’s been years since I’ve tried tacos that are not from LA FLOR DE JALISCO on 21^st in Richmond or LOS PRIMOS… But here they come right close to them both! I always get asada and al pastor, they have no fat and the portions are just right! Their salsa is the bomb too! The only minus they have is they charge for extra salsa, I didn’t ask for a whole lot, but eh, will come back, there close to home and good tacos.

Fourth time’s a charm?
Ugh…I give up. Not on eating here, but on expecting them to get my order right.
The food is good. Maybe ever 4-​stars (by my scale). Tasty Carnitas and Al Pastor. Carne Asada is OK+. Chicken is meh… Still, pretty good food. But, for the love of Christ, they never fail to screw something up!
Tacos in stead of burritos… burritos instead of tacos… wrong meat on wrong thing… sour cream out of nowhere… cheese completely missing when I clearly asked for it… Ugh.
I get it. English isn’t their first language. Fine. But, we’re talking about tacos, burritos, cheese, and sour cream. It’s not a flippin’ English exam.
So, if you want some reasonably good taco truck food and you’re in the neighborhood, stop by. Just don’t expect exactly what you order…

What a treat. The meat in the beef taco was tasty and juicy. The onion, cilantro, and salsa were all great additions to the taco. To be sure it was not a onetime fluke, and they were still good I tried them the next day and they were still tasty.
They also have burritos, which I doubt I’ll try, I prefer tacos. And I do enjoy watching traffic wiz by while eating them at tables next to the truck

I have to agree with the other 1 – 2 start reviews of this truck. I give it 1 star for two reasons — the chicken tacos we got were really wet and dripped all over the place. They were difficult to enjoy.
#2 was the service. I got the impression they were so much friendlier if you spoke spanish. I don’t care if you’re a customer at a chinese, japanese, mexican, salvadorian, russian dining establishment anywhere in the world. There is no reason to be treated like any less than other customers for any reason. Boo.

Okay,. why is place rated 4.5 stars? I read the reviews and everyone who saidthat this place is 2 stars and above, must not know what good food is.
First of all, they dont give chips,. to go hot sauce, or jalepeno and carrots with the order. YOu have to ask for it and pay 50 cents. Yeah, I know its 50 Cents but dayuum. Second of all, the chicken is grinded up into tiny peices to where I cant recognize what meat it is! 3^rd of all, the burritos have more rice, and rice and I taste only the rice.
Im not coming back. ONe hit quit for me.

The beef tongue here is the best I’ve had in the East Bay. It’s tender and full of flavor. However, stay away from the tripe! Rubbery and gritty and BITTER. Yes, bitter. Unless you want pieces of bitter rubber in your taco, you don’t want the tripe here. Hubby liked his carnitas and chicharron tacos.
I’m definitely coming back for more beef tongue tacos!

I came back for the tongue tacos and they didn’t have any and it was too early on a weekend for them to run out of anything!
